Negative experience: I had the worst experience today when I went it the female dentists was so unwelcoming she didn’t even greet me with a smile made me very uncomfortable being there and she didn’t even check my mouth regarding what I needed to be done and I was a old client already been going there they charge me for another consultation again and the false teeth the glued on was their own mistakes they tryna to change me extra $$$

As you have expressed strong criticism of the temporary work that I completed for you 1.5 years ago as part of your review, I feel it is necessary to give you a formal reply, both out of respect and for clarity.
Firstly, sorry I was not rostered at the clinic on that day to assist you with your issue. Whilst I have never heard a complaint against any colleague at this clinic of being unwelcoming in the years I have been here, I appreciate that it may be an experience you personally felt, and our clinic will nevertheless strive to provide the highest quality of service and care in the future.
Without going into any specific details out of privacy considerations, however, with regard to “tryna to change me extra $$$” because “the false teeth the glued on was their own mistakes”; in the circumstances with which you presented on the day, we had a thorough discussion about all the possible permanent options for giving you back a ‘false tooth’ in that area from least to most costly, and least to most invasive, of which none you had been able to accept at the time due to various factors.
Because I understood from our discussion that solving the problem was very important for you on the day, however, with your explicit informed consent that the procedure was to be a temporary solution only until you were in a position to tolerate something more permanent, I attached a ‘false tooth’ into the space as best as we could achieve in the circumstances of the day at a significant discount at cost to account for both the temporary nature of the solution (expected lifetime of 1-3 months) and as a gesture of goodwill given your circumstances at the time. All of the discussion and warnings were also clearly stated in the exam and treatment summary that you had specifically requested at the end of the appointment and that was emailed to you directly.
I had recommended that you come back for a review of the temporary solution we provided and a full comprehensive assessment so we could put a plan together and address your remaining issues that you also mentioned. You booked but did not confirm or attend that appointment and so there was no opportunity to provide you with any more service, advice, or review.
I feel that to return after 18 months for a failed temporary solution that was intended to last 1-3 months, imply that providing you with the temporary solution you insisted on was my mistake (or was done poorly), and expect the problem to be fixed again for free, is tremendously unfair to the effort and goodwill that I had put in that afternoon 18 months ago to give you a viable solution for a problem that was very clearly distressing you.
If there is any error on my part, I will always rectify it and I am very clear on this, but in this particular case I must insist that was not more that could have been done under the circumstances. I understand if you feel more comfortable at a different clinic and wish you all the best for you future.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with Dentist Ruohan. My 2.5 year old and 10 month old had their check ups and he's great with kids. Fantastic experience: Probably the best dental experience ever. I asked on a local Facebook page for recommendations for a clean without drawing blood and causing excruciating pain . So many people recommended Gail I had to give her a go. She was absolutely amazing. So kind and gentle. I will now go back more often so it doesn't become such a mammoth task. The dentist who came in and gave me a check up was great too. Didn't push for unnecessary X-rays (sorry, I don't remember his name). I am prone to plaque building up quite quickly and it doesn't matter how often I go I am always nagged and told off. Not any more . Just all positive comments

Fantastic experience: Dr Karthik is a very knowledgeable and genuine dentist who is honest and explains everything. Not like your typical dentists who only look for opportunities to maximise your bill. Fantastic experience: What a lovely visit! Have put off going to the dentist for so long, very glad I chose this dentist! I was desperate to get a tooth out and booked a visit with this dental clinic during Covid 19. Karthik the Dentist was brilliant and careful. He explained things clearly. took the tooth out with very little after affect I have now been back for a second extraction , teeth cleaning and some fillings . I can honestly say my fear of dentists has completely dissipated. Dr Karthik is an extremely caring and gentle dentist, I’m a nervous patient and he was so accommodating and ensured I was compfortable and informed at every step. and the costs are quite reasonable on comparisons to other dentists. I highly recommend Dr Karthik and his friendly team at Comfort care Dental you will be looked after by a highly professional and caring compassionate team and I can assure you that any fears you may hold with regard to dentists will be gone after your first visit.

Fantastic experience: Gail (Dental Hygienist) is one of the best hygienist I've ever used. She is extremely thorough; she puts you at ease & is very gentle. A true professional who I highly recommend to everyone. Dr K (Dentist) is very gentle & caring, he explains procedures thoroughly & has a calm & placid manner. Fantastic experience: Over the year's I have been to a few Dental clinics for my dental issues and found Comfort Care Dental to be the best. I usually book my appointments with Dr. Karthik Lakkaraju and was always looked after very well. Recently I had to visit Comfort Care Dental for my 5 year old's dental issue. After we got home, my daughter said she was very comfortable and liked the the way she was treated. It is her comment that prompted me to write a review. I would strongly recommend Comfort Care Dental for any dental issues and general check ups.

Negative experience: After a molar filling falling out twice by their dentists. I was seen by the female dentist to be told I need a full root canal treatment and then a crown. Dentist was rude and said she didn’t have time to even fill the filling that fell out I couldn’t chew and did a quick patch which was charged and told come back for root canal. Inge receptionist was rude when I explained when it fell out last time I wasn’t charged “well you were told it was temporary” tried to get accurate quotes was told sort it out with your health fund as their invoices were too complicated??? and the dentist was too busy accurately quote. So decide get another dentist practice opinion guess what NO ROOT CANAL TREATMENT needed!!!! Comforts dentist even did the cold test and no pain no chill. Wants to charge $1600 for a procedure I didn’t require which I will be phoning Monday to cancel. Lost subsequent business for a crown and implant. Quite unbelievable! Also a second filling that was done by their dentist previously was replaced today also. I will making a formal complaint. FOLLOW UP: in addition to your below response your receptionist spoke to me so did get in touch not management following up on this review and no I was not prepared for you to requote when I have zero faith now in treatment I didn’t require. I have since had a crown elsewhere with no issues and I definitely did not need a root canal treatment your dentist is incompetent and nearly cost me an extra $1600 for a root canal that was definitely not needed on that tooth. 2 other fillings done were replaced by my new dentist as they were poorly done by your dentists in addition. I have had zero issues since seeing a new dentist no filling falling out no root canals I don’t need. Certainly pays for a second opinion before unnecessary dentist work is required and to make matters worse you never even offered a refund for the poor dentistry work performed on the day. 2020 Follow up after over a year did NOT need a root canal treatment at ALL crown fixed the issue better $1600 in my pocket than a dentist that charges for unnecessary work and fillings that fall out and are a sloppy job. And also since the fillings fell out that were done here they have since been fixed by a different dentist practice that told me I didn’t need the root canal which proved to be right no further dentist issues now I’ve changed from this dentist. Go with your instinct.
Hi Michelle sorry you felt that at your last visit. We try very hard to provide best customer service. We would like to get to bottom of this and resolve it but unfortunately we were not able to reach you on your phone and have left a voice message on Monday and Wednesday last week. We did review your case and since the tooth was not responding to cold test which can a indication of infected or non vital tooth our dentist has decided to not go through permanent restoration. for some reason that day your insurance was not letting us to give accurate quote and requested you best contact your insurance.Unfortunately law does allow us to discuss fine details of the case so if you could contact us at your convenience we can resolve this for you.hope to hear from you soon. I am glad that your tooth is good and hope it stays good for next 15 years that's usually our warranty on crowns we do here.you have mentioned about one filling being replaced in previous by your new dentist in your initial response and another 2 replaced this time.I just checked you history and other than the crown tooth we only did one more filling on you.I assure you we din't do those fillings that you had replaced recently,might be old fillings done previously by some other dentist.I can't comment on the work that was done by another dentist it's against code of ethic.hope you well and take care.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr. Karthik Lakkaraju and his team once again. I have a morbid fear of needles so put off going to the dentist for years, to my own detriment. I have been to see Dr K and his team 3 times now and am currently in the process of having root canal treatment. Scary stuff for a person who is afraid of injections but they offer gas or sleep dentistry and are very sympathetic to those of us who have anxiety about being in the chair, which has been fantastic. Dr K is a very caring dentist who does everything he can to put you at ease, as do his staff. Thank you Comfort Care. You have no idea how much stress and fear you have removed from visits to the dentist. :)

Fantastic experience: The dentist and the hygienist are amazing. Chipped my tooth on a Sunday, called Monday morning and got an appointment same day which is absolutely amazing!! Even had a issue after a filling, which I called and told them about and they got me in as quick as they could and fixed it for free. Thank you for everyone at the clinic!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from absolutely everyone at the clinic, went above and beyond for organizing appointment times. I am very apprehensive to visit dentists but my apprehenssion is gone after visiting Comfortcare dental for my treatment. Dr.Karthik was very professional, attentive and gave me enough time to get relaxed. He made me aware of the condition, took the time to explain the details of the treatment I needed and made sure I was aware of all my options before he proceeded with treatment. Really helpful! I can’t recommend them highly enough! :) And also thanks to Inga(receptionist) for making follow up calls to bring forward my appointment earlier than scheduled time. Negative experience: Couldn't agree more with the guy who gave it 2. They get 1 from me. Don't expect miracles, but do expect a filling to last longer than 6 months. I have dental work in my mouth that is 35 years old. Obviously dentists back then were less interested in profit and more concerned about doing a decent job. Nowadays they drill the s... out of the enamel, leaving little to no room for future repairs. That's when they'll tell you that a crown is your only option. Their prices are a joke for the work performed. A gold crown used to cost the equivalent of around $500-800. Today you're looking at $4K. Lift your game or we'll all be going to Malaysia or Indonesia for our dental treatment

Fantastic experience: Goodday Before Michael, i had some bad experiences with regards to my filling & gum cleanings as i had very deep pockets. Other dentists charged me a lot of money for taking x-rays & inspecting it & then just referring me to some specialist. Michael took me on & treated my gums very well & brought them to a level where i could maintain them myself. He even ordered special instruments for my extra deep pockets. For last 5-7 years of my dealing with his clinic, i have never been disappinted with the lavel of care , professionlism & treament quality & i have always recommended him to anyone looking for an honest dentist.
