Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment at this practice last week and I've never had such a great experience visiting the dentist! The receptionist was so warm and welcoming and Dr Lonnóg was AMAZING! She was so thorough in her assessment, she explained everything really well and it was obvious how much she genuinely cares for her patients. Even the dental assistant was awesome. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: The receptionist was rude and dismissive. When I requested my own treatment history, she refused over the phone. After I emailed citing Australia’s privacy laws—which give patients the right to access their medical records—my request was suddenly approved, contradicting her earlier response. Her reply contained no apology and claimed she was doing me a “favour,” rather than following the law. It appears there may only be one receptionist, or at least this receptionist works most of the hours. She is consistently rude, unapologetic, and full of attitude even during the time when I make appointments. I am posting this for others’ awareness—avoid dealing with this receptionist if possible. To the owner: this behaviour risks damaging your business!

Fantastic experience: A clean, tidy, professional and comfortable place. Very close to the train station, the team is friendly and professional. Most importantly, clean and tidy, which is very important for a dentist. I have to say that the dentist's bed is very comfortable...

Fantastic experience: I never thought I'd give a dental practice a 5 star review but here I am. from the moment I walked through the doors the team at National Dental were brilliant. I'm a somewhat nervous patient and everyone treated me with care and compassion. I ended up having to see the dental surgeon and he was also amazing. Follow up care by the entire team is second to none.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service! From the friendly "Hello" from Jessica at reception to the guided walk to the "chair" by the dentist's assistant, as a patient you are treated with care and consideration and pleasant demeanour. I was a patient of Dr. Linnóg today and on my previous visit. Previously she made modest repairs very nicely. Today was the general check-up and clean. Great job! Efficient, caring and very good chair-side manner putting me completely at ease. I just relaxed and before I knew it, the job was done. Great, new addition to the practice. If you need to see a dentist, I strongly recommend this practice and ask for Dr. Linnóg. As a hint, Jess said it’s pronounced like (Kylie) Minouge with the M replaced by L 

Fantastic experience: Have been going to NDC at Barangaroo for several years. Firstly to see Dr Jo who I’ve already posted glowing reviews about. When Jo was on extended leave I started seeing Dr Helen who is also top drawer. I’ve been to see her several times now; she’s very skilled, very fast, and explains all the options available for treatment - for example costs of one treatment vs another. I can’t speak more highly of Dr Jo & Dr Helen at NDC Barangaroo. Originally from the UK they both have had a lot more all-round experience than some other dentists I’ve seen. For example treating hospital & at-risk & elderly patients in the UK. They are versatile & adaptable & can do almost any dental procedure except possibly when highly specialised treatments such as implants are required. I’ve actually been to other dentists in Australia who say they don’t “DO” extractions - like they only do what they like doing - rather than what the patient needs, which is all-round holistic treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for the last number of years and the service has been top-tier. From the receptionist, to the dentists, and dental assistants - everyone is professional and lovely. The location is extremely convenient as it neighbours my office. I also appreciate that they are able to accomodate later appointments - which helps with my work schedule. I would highly recommend this practice and I will continue to return!

Positive experience: Dentist's hands very light. Done what needs to be done. Clean clinic. I gave 4* because I got a notification to confirm a 10 am appt. So, we came at 10 am but our appt was at 11 am. The 10 am was the online booking I made that I thought was fixed when I called to clarify the booking was for 2 people.

Negative experience: Booked online an extraction. Im a very nervous low pain tolerance person. Arrived 8 minutes late as I was so nervous I had to go to the bathroom last minute. After I filled her in on the history of the root canal that has been a problem she told me she wouldn’t do an extraction today as her next appointment was in 5 mins. I’ve waited 5 days for this appointment with a cracked and open tooth. Off now to find a dentist who can give me the time

Fantastic experience: Just landed in sydney from the uk , in transit my filling dropped out and this was going to be a issue if not fixed , frantically Google this dentist, and I must admit I fear dentist , they saw me as a emergency patient , I couldn't of found a better practise how lucky was i , I think my Irish dr name is Lonnóg apologies if not I had been flying for hours she was absolutely fantastic and the lovely lady with her , thank you both so much , for your professional skills no pain and made to feel at ease . I contacted my health fund and they recommended National Dental Care Excellent referrals, good reviews. Located in the main hub of Barangaroo, just a short walk from Wynard Station. On arrival check in process was quick and efficient, so convenient for the many Corporates working in the area. My first appointment was with Dr Joanne McGlip she was extremely thorough, a very in depth, professional examination. Answering all my questions. X-rays, clean, fluro. Just love that after clean feeling! Gaining trust is vital for me. Creature of habit. Don’t like changing Dentist or GP’s. Dr McGlip has a beautiful Scottish accent (fresh out of Outlander), great sense of humor and warm energy which made me feel very comfortable, making my experience more like a spa vibe… taking the pressure off being in the dental chair. This practise is dedicated to leaving an ever lasting, more than satisfied experience. No reservations to highly recommend National Dental care and their team. 5 Shining stars from me!

Fantastic experience: I've been to National Dental Care a few times now, and I can definitely say they are one of the best clinics I've been to in Sydney. Dr Joanne is amazing - she's very friendly and gentle, and provides great professional opinions! I've gone to her for both a general check up and a filling, and both experiences have been very positive. Dr Luke helped with an extraction and it went very well (I've had difficult experiences at other dentists previously). Did not feel painful at all throughout the process and the recovery has been very smooth. Will definitely be coming back here for any dental needs, and I would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Negative experience: There were a couple of good dentists but they left after a year or so. I had a root canal that failed and they decided to prioritise the extraction around the remaining dentists leave. It didn’t go well, had to find an emergency dentist for an extraction due to infection, really wouldn’t recommend that experience to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Very professional set up. I had 3 visits over the course of a month. Clean and 7 fillings. The dentist I saw, Josh Wyper was exceptional. Easily the most relaxed I have been visiting a dentist. Thoroughly recommended

Negative experience: Booked one week ago , when I arrive , they tell me the booking is canceled. I put my update phone number during the booking process, the reception said they can’t receive any update information . I found extremely unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Must see dentist in Sydney :) From having the biggest fear of the dentist my whole life and even to the point of cancelling the intial appointment so many times. In Nov last year i finally bit the bullet and had enough witgh the pain in my mouth that I had for years and went in and saw Dr Amin Kol and straight from the start Dr Kol was gentle acknowledeged my fear and amde sure that I was ok with everything as we went through a thorough clean and treatment plan. Turns out leaving your teeth for such a long time isnt a good idea and i needed 8 teeth Reemoved including broken teeth and wisdom teeth and around 10 fillings. Dr Kol gave me the options of how I wanted to proceed so we gave it plenty of time to prepare did it in one day in the chair with sedation and dont remember a thing. Both Dr Kol and his assistant Mel are so professional but friendly at the same time and get the job done. Any questions and queries I have had Dr Kol and the whole team have been so attentive to them I am now onto my next phase of treatment of Invialigns before proceeded with dental implants and every thing has been so smooth and I have found everything about the whole process painless and an absolute delight to deal with that also includes the lovely Tara and Jess at reception. If you are looking for a new dentist i highly recommend Dr Kol to anyone. I think it is safe to say that my intense fear of the dentist is gone and will forever be greatful for the team at Barangaroo for helping to fix my smile and not breaking the bank at the same time :)

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Jelena Skovrlj for the past 2 years and she is a very thorough and knowledgeable dentist. She has been very helpful with my queries and also very accommodating with my challenges. She is very gentle on my teeth and this makes me very comfortable seeing her regularly :-) I highly recommend her and her team!

Negative experience: Great dental place but if you would like to have a regular dentist and hygienist this is not the place to be. I've seen multiple dentist and hygienist almost each appointment and each time they want to take an x-ray of some sorts. Visited today, I told the dentist that a 3D scan was done before but was told to do a new one and said it's not charged but they still charge to my health fund, only thing is I don't have to pay the gap! That's not how it work if there is no charge, dipping into my health funds means it's not free. And also, receptionist chatting her way with another patient while I waited 10 minutes just to make my payment. Had I not go to her and said I need to go, I'd probably still be there waiting... Lost all my trust with NDC.

Fantastic experience: Was experiencing terrible tooth pain and was recommended to visit NDC. Booked an emergency appointment online which was very user friendly. My treating doctor was Dr. Kol. His personality was very professional and approachable. He advised that the extraction of all four wisdom teeth at once will be the best option considering the pros and cons. Post operative care instructions were provided before and after the surgery. During the surgery Dr. Kol, Sherin and other staff were very friendly and put me at ease given I don't remember much due to sedation. I also received a follow up call two days later by Tara. Overall the experience was amazing. Already booked my next cosmetic dental treatment at NDC with Dr. Kol.

Fantastic experience: Generally not the biggest fan of the dentist but my experience at the NDC was by far the best I have had. Staff were very welcoming which put me at ease right away; I was taken at the time appointment which has never happened before and the dentist, Joanne, made me feel very comfortable. She took care throughout the process and for a change, I didn't feel like there was a rush to get me out. Would highly recommend this practice, even for those who, like me, dread the thought of going to the dentist

I’ve been going here for the past year after 2 mediocre dental experiences at other locations and I never thought I’d say I’d be excited for the dentist until coming here. Every appointment I’ve been treated nicely and even remembered which just makes the experience so much better, they have been upfront and direct with me when it comes to my teeth and have helped me understand my bupa benefits as well. If you live in the Sydney area or you want a great dentist I just cannot recommend this place enough :)

Negative experience: I have been a customer of the clinic for the last 3 years and the service has been ok. I am rating very low score because last week I had to cancel - due to personal reason I didn’t want to share - and the receptionist was very rude at me. I felt very uncomfortable and utterly shocked by her attitude. At my question “when can I reschedule” I received the reply “we have no availability”, so I assumed I am not welcomed anymore. By reading a review I see many people complaining about the same problem, I wonder why you are not taking any actions. I won’t come again as customer because no matter how busy the receptionist could be, there is no excuse to rude at people and it is very unprofessional, it’s a shame

Negative experience: Poor service, rude receptionists (if you call, they will very much inform you that they are the ones who are busy), slow credit application process (no response unless you chaise them up, over three weeks of waiting period without your email acknowledgement), reluctant dentist with lack of experience made me realise that this service is not worse the money they ask for ($7,5K). I recommend you all to use another dentistry who is professional and caring, which is why I went with another dentistry for the same money who is outstanding in knowledge, customer service and care.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to National Dental Care @ Barangaroo to see Salik for all of my hygiene needs. I could not recommend Salik or his team enough. The building is a brand new building with state of the art equipment, incredible location and the service is exceptional. Salik always leaves my teeth feeling cleaner then ever and if your looking to get a hygiene checkup or work done id definitely recommend them to family, friend's and yourself.

Negative experience: Had a very unpleasant experience. I have attended the centre for a VERY SIMPLE procedure, re-cementing temp crown on implant which wasn't done with the level of required care!, Due to the excessive pressure on abutment and amount of cements left under the gum, the area became swollen and started bleeding so I had to rush to my periodontist for examining the gum and clean the area. Being worried that during the procedure of re-cementing a damage to abutment or implant might have occurred returned to the clinic to consult with the same dentist and to advise him regards the issue occurred due to his job and get the reports for representing to my periodontist and prosthodontist. I was asked to pay full consultation price, $180 for the short consult and when I refused to pay since I was there because of the issue caused by them, the receptionist was very rude and out of line. They KINDLY just charged my insurance!!!!! Mentioning this is how they do the business!!!

Negative experience: The Dentist there were great! But not worth my time to deal with a rude staff member that gets annoyed with my questions - especially when I make the effort to chase up and they don't.

Positive experience: Pro: exceptional experience with Dr Joanne and Dr Tao. I will give five stars to them. Dr Joanne did my annual teeth checkup and recommended Dr Tao to perform my wisdom teeth removal surgery. They have done an excellent job. Cons: some receptionists are very difficult to deal with. I don’t understand why is there so little compassion and patience towards patients. The contrast of the dentists and some admin people make me wonder why is it the case. This is just my honest opinion.
