Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience here was not positive. I visited with ongoing tooth pain but was told to get my teeth cleaned and was given antibiotics with no real reason as to why I was feeling this excruciating pain I’ve been feeling for the last couple of days. There was no real investigation into the actual cause and after discussing with others and explaining this intense electrocution I was feeling in my tooth I strongly believe it’s either my filling wasn’t done correctly, there is a hairline crack which wont be able to be seen in a normal X-ray and or nerve issues none of which were ever considered or mentioned to be the problem at my appointment. I understand that the X-ray was showing no issue with my tooth or any surrounding teeth and I understand both my fillings in that area “looked perfectly in placed” however there has to be a reason why I am in so much pain. He didn’t even want to try and help find the cause. I didn’t feel my concerns were taken seriously, and I left feeling unheard and still in pain. There was also no sign of any infection or abscess so I didn’t understand why I was given antibiotics. I felt like it was a quick fix to get me out. I become dehydrated from not being able to drink anything as that would be a big trigger for the electrician in my tooth even just slightly opening my mouth and letting a little bit of cold air in would trigger this achy feeling in my tooth. The pain is so intense that I literally have to sit with the pain until it eases, you seriously cannot tell me there is nothing wrong with my tooth if this is what I’m having to do. Very unhappy and don’t recommend this place at all.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sam was really great, very difficult filling at the back on the rhs. The procedure itself was painless. Would recommend to anyone. Especially patients who are scared of dentists.

Fantastic experience: First appointment, I had a clean, scale and polish plus xrays and this was OK with Dr Vijay who I had to insist on numbing my mouth due to sensitive teeth. Whilst he did the job, he could've been more patient centric and listen more attentively. Next appointment l had fillings with Dr Sammy who was great, listened and showed more care and interest as a patient, explaining things and was more attentive and caring in his approach. I'll definitely go back to see him.

Fantastic experience: Had my 6 monthly check up and clean today with Dr Sam , he did my 2 yearly X-rays , scraped / polished / scaled teeth .. as I have 24 zirconia crowns , he was so gentle and thorough .. explained costs / budget .. went through all my issues / concerns .. couldn’t have had a nicer dentist to deal with .. very very happy with my experience today , thanks Dr Sam , see you again soon :)

Between teeth pulls and my first ever fillings - he took the utter most care and attention as to make sure my partner and I were in max of comfort and ease, being very gentle and did not trigger any past traumas with rough dentists. Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for almost 10 years, but never needed anything more than your basic clean & a filling once. Today I called at 8am asking if they could get me in to have a look at pulling out my wisdom tooth that was causing me so much pain, they fit me in straight away and Dr Sam & Nurse Shara made sure I had such a smooth and successful experience, and got the tooth out so quick and effectively. The part I loved the most though, was how nicely the dentist spoke to the dental assistant. I really respect that! And they were both just so incredibly nice & comforting, thankyou both so much! Negative experience: Came here half an hour before and wait nearly more then one hour still they don’t call when I said I am leaving then they said just ok I will inform the doctor what rubbish I already told that I have another work to do you must need to setup the time so that other will not suffer.. like seriously if your time is valuable another’s as well

Fantastic experience: Today my 2 year old fell over and hurt her gum & a tooth came loose. I called Ormeau Dental and they managed to get me an appointment as soon as possible, within a few hours, which was such a relief. Dr Vijay was so gentle and patient with my daughter, who had never been to the dentist before. He made her (and me) feel calm and relaxed, and we left very happy. Fantastic experience: Saw Dr Vijay today and a very positive experience. He was gentle and was great communicating throughout the consultation. So reassuring my teeth were great and educating me about preservation after seeing another in the area who wanted to fill 6 of my teeth 6 months after my previous dentist left elsewhere. Negative experience: Been coming here 10 years spent 1000s called up for a clean quoted me 250 to 300 but for new patients it’s only 180 , so I called 2 other places in Ormeau quoted 99 and 150 will be goin there from now on.

Fantastic experience: They worked on my mums teeth to prepare her for dentures. She hates dentist but felt no pain very good experience would highly recommend.

Negative experience: A nice dentist but my tooth is still sore and sensitive after 12 months!! I spoke to them after my filling to tell them I still had pain and they told me it needed time to settle... I was told this twice and still having the same issue. I've had to book another appointment elsewhere to get it fixed, sadly as they filed the tooth so far I may have to get it pulled.... The customer service and care they take to make you feel comfortable and ready for treatment is amazing but for dental work I would go somewhere else....

Negative experience: A filling fell out from my daughter shortly after being set and they made us feel as if it was our mistake. We decided anywhere would be better than here.

Fantastic experience: Second visit for my son, first when he was 2 years old and just recently at 3 years old. We saw different dentist each time but he has had a positive experience with both. I was very grateful for the encouragement we both received for keeping his teeth clean and for the friendly service.

Negative experience: Never cleaned out fillings .. now I am spending $$$ at another place to fix

Fantastic experience: I called on short notice Saturday morning on behalf of my Husband who had terrible wisdom tooth pain, the receptionist was able to fit him in straight away! He has a crippling fear of the Dentist but Dr Vijay and his dental nurse did an amazing job at making him feel relaxed and got his wisdom tooth out very quickly and efficiently. Fantastic experience: We have been here a few times now and I must say the staff are so beautiful and kind especially to my little boy. Yesterday he said to me in the car that he wants the receptionist Paige to come over to his house to play because she was relly really nice " Paige likes me" he said bless. Our appointments have always been me ringing up concerned about my son's teeth and they have always managed to squeeze us in for peace of mind. The dentists has always been kind to my son and went over an above giving me extra information that I needed. Thank you Ormeau Dental for looking after us.

We cannot fault the care, attention, kindness and professionalism she (and all of the other staff) have shown us in each visit.
