Negative experience: I visited this dental clinic last year (2021) to have a wisdom tooth removed. A week later, the tooth next to it broke. When I returned, the dentist refused to take any responsibility, saying the tooth would have broken sooner or later anyway. Terrible service, and the dentist was rude! --- To respond to your replies: 1. I first reviewed this content over two years ago, but I rewrote it a few days ago to make it clearer. 2. Before COVID, I regularly visited a dentist in Sydney who advised me to remove my wisdom teeth. Due to COVID, I began searching for a dentist in Woy Woy. My previous dentist did not mention any serious issues with my other teeth I understand that anyone can make mistakes, but I don’t appreciate the attitude of "Your teeth would have broken sooner or later anyway". I chose your practice because of the many 5-star reviews, but in the end, I'm disappointed "Our records show that you only attended for 1 particular problem more than 3 years ago !" -- Clearly, your records are incorrect.

Fantastic experience: Have just finished having implants done. Being scared of dentists I was concerned. Gerry Moses made the whole process as easy as possible. You don't want someone judging you and making you feel guilty for how you let it happen. He never did that just looked towards how he could get you the best result. Gerry was there to fix it all and get the best outcome possible. There was never a problem explaining the process or just chatting to put you at ease. It was never rushed and he was always making you feel relaxed. On a technical side he used the latest in technology with digital imaging and implant hardware. Result is that I now have a smile to be proud of and a set of porcelain and titanium choppers capable of eating anything. Thanks Gerry a life changing fix.

Positive experience: I had 4 dental implants fitted about 3 years ago The cost was $20,000 Initially I was very satisfied and my dentures stayed in place much better I could eat without my dentures rubbing and clicking Unfortunately this was temporary only Two implants came out after 12 months I am now left with one implant for my top denture (which is well in place) and one for the bottom which protrudes out from the gum and needs to be taken out!!!! Overall my experience was costly and disappointing In response to your reply to my review I was a patient of yours Look up Cheryl Newton and you will perhaps remember me I gave an honest review of my experience No I wasn't satisfied with my experience Also I did come and see you about the problems with my implants and you said you could do another implant and bone graft dentures etc for another $9000

Fantastic experience: I had all on four implant treatment with Dr Hayek and HIGHLY recommend if you are thinking about it go here!!! 10/10!!!! Short story. I was terrified of the dentists and avoided going for over 10yrs which sadly led to alot of decay, pain, and eventually abscesses. My teeth were in pretty bad shape safe to say. When it was time to address the issues, my wife had managed to get me in to see Dr Hayek. As soon as I walked through the door the receptionists were extremely friendly and very reassuring I was in the best of hands. Dr Hayek was amazing. Very easy and comforting to deal with, plus walks you through the process step by step of what is needed to be done, looks out for your best interests and the best way to save your teeth! The surgery was a walk in the park. 14 teeth out and 7 implants placed, never felt a thing and actually was so comfortable I fell asleep during the procedure. The after procedure apts were all the same very easy going. I now have my final zirconia bridge and im over the moon with the results. Cant thank Dr Hayek and the team at advanced dental enough!

Fantastic experience: This review is being dictated to me from my husband Bob who has a dreadful fear of dentists. From entering the surgery at Woy Woy and being greeted by very friendly, professional receptionists his experience was 10/10. The dentist that performed the work on him was Dr Raed Airomi. Bob came away from the surgery yesterday singing the praises of Dr Airomi and was in absolute awe of how quick and painless his fillings were. Dr Airomi put him at ease by explaining what he was about to do and there is no doubt if Bob needs to visit a dentist again he will do so quickly without fear. Fantastic experience: I had to have a wisdom tooth removed and I was not particularly looking forward to it. But Dr Moses was calm, kind and incredibly efficient: once the anesthetic kicked in, he removed it in about 20 secs flat! It blew me away with how straight forward and painless the whole experience was. Dr Moses knows his stuff! All the staff are amazing at Advanced Dental and the whole experience could not have been better.

Fantastic experience: I was terrified of visiting the dentist as I knew my gum disease had gotten much worse during pregnancy and lockdown. Dr Al Romi and Aurora could not have been more gentle and reassuring. They talked me through the whole process and next steps, making me feel far more positive about what was initially a scary experience for me. Actually looking forward to coming back for my clean and implant consultation! Receptionist Melissa is also super friendly, helpful and reassuring. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Raed Al-Romi looked after me this morning. I explained I’ve had past bad experiences with dentists and I was nervous. He explained everything that was going to happen during the procedure. He told me to give a signal if I was in pain or needed to stop, although there was no need. He was amazing! Thorough, yet gentle & afterwards explained after care. I can honestly say that Dr Raed Al-Romi has changed my view on the dentist and I can say I’d happily go back to see him for future works. Dr Raed Al Romi preformed on me my first ever painless operation. I am normally extremely anxious and pain sensitive but he injected me and completed the operation flawlessly. Positive experience: I first saw Dr Gerald Mosses, at advandced dental services whom I've only seen twice and may I add he is fantastic! I have absolute respect for him and without him the pain in my tooth coukd of lead to serious harm to me. The reason I wanted to give this place a good review is because of Dr Gerald Mosses. He really helped me out just this week of be Christmas period during a pandemic. He reffered me to his collegue Dr Saif Hayek for a tooth extraction at the same practice (may I add this tooth is extreml y decayed and rotten and had me nearly overdosing on panadol taking nearly 400 tablets of nurofern and panadol over a month.) Within the hour I was there i was treated with respect and dignity to my tooth pain. Dr said Hayek extracted my tooth in I think 15minutes and made me feel completely comfortable. All the facts were given to me on arrival by the receptionist including price (which I will get to in a moment.) Both receptionists i have met there have been very friendly. It was great that Dr Saif Hayek explained everything again. His assistant she was wonderful to and very accommodating. The only reason I didn't gove this place the whole five stars is truly because of the price of the extraction. And me not having private health cover at all this was A massive depression for me being christmas time and dealing with major mental health issues and financial stress. This can me being bias due to it being Christmas and the extraction which was completely needed as per the reccomendation of both amazing dentisits at the practice. However I believe you have to pay good to get good results and that's what these professionals here including all staff at the Woy Woy Advandced Dental Services are highly reccomended. Even though now Christmas is cancelled for me lol I have Dr Saif Hayek to thank for helping me during this time to give me the present of pain relief with the extraction.

Negative experience: I had two wisdom teeth removed at Advanced Dental Services (Woy Woy), and was extremely disappointed in the service I received. Not only did it cost me $800 per tooth for simple, quick extractions, which is more than twice the cost of any other dentist, but the service I received at that cost was way below what you would expect for such a premium price. After the extractions, I was in a lot of pain and 5 days later, called for a follow up appointment as the pain wasn’t subsiding. I was told that the earliest I could be seen was THREE days later, despite the claim that they see patients the same day. I had to see a doctor instead, and they prescribed me antibiotics, which should have been prescribed by the dentist seeing as he told me there were infections present under my teeth before they were removed. Ridiculously overpriced and poor service – I recommend you look elsewhere.
