Fantastic experience: I recently attended Banyule Dental practice and had a tooth veneer procedure with Enrique, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This tooth has given me grief for at least 20 years and I’ve had treatment on it previously but Enrique is the only dentist who has finally made it look amazing. I can fully recommend him to anyone who wants a tooth restoration.

Fantastic experience: Banyule Dental has been looking after my dental health since 1999. The professional and caring manner I have experienced with them during that time has always been first class and greatly appreciated. Dr George Malliaros was my primary dentist until 2023 and now Dr Arun Aynikkal is currently my primary dentist. Both have treated me with great skill and care during that time. Nursing and reception staff are also very friendly and caring. I recommend Banyule Dental as a quality dental practice.

Negative experience: After 5 appointments for our 5 year old daughter , has now resulted in surgery. Which could have been done 12 months ago. No guidance or any information on the issues. Would not recommend and have heard several families in the same boat. As you can see from banyule’s response below if they need me to post the black mail email from the owner offering a 10% refund for the appointments only if we sign off on any reviews or any other reviews about them. The surgeon today also stated we should take further action. As I have stated all along duty of care and miss Information was never there which is a shame for this business.

Fantastic experience: Dr Arun is absolutely amazing. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I was anxious but Dr Arun made sure I was feeling comfortable before starting. The process was gentle and reasonably priced.

Negative experience: Wouldn't even reschedule an appointment without trying to charge for it.

Positive experience: Dentists are great here. Highly recommend the dentists. However what took away from a recent couple experiences is a receptionist who enjoys cold calling. A new personal best is 8 calls in 6 business days of which I had an appointment booked in advance. No voicemessage is left and the calls continue. Not manageable when you already have full time job and other life commitments to answer 8 calls or call back 8 times from the dentists office just in a week.

Fantastic experience: It’s not often you go to a dentist and have a pleasant experience. So when I had to get a root canal, that’s not what I thought the feeling I’d be leaving with would be. Nevertheless, from the bottle of pure distilled positivity that is Kirsty and the front desk, to the very knowledgeable and personable dentists (Dr George is incredible!) and assistants (Julie was amazing) in the rooms this place is pure gold. I thought I was happy with my previous dentist and agonized over where I would go now that I have moved. Having recently been to both, Banyule Dental will be my dentist for a long time. (I won’t add any photos of the root canal, but you can take my word that everything is going well).

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tracey was phenomenal, she is been listen and resolve with patient throughout whole Treatment Plan for almost a year.. The staff here at Banyule Dental is a real gem. They are always fun to chat and make every possible attempt to make patient feel comfortable. Of course, had left me with a big smile on my face at end of the treatment.

Fantastic experience: As a retired RN and Paramedic, I have to say Dr George is the best dentist I have come across (ably assisted by dental nurse Amelia). His relaxed, jargon-free assessment and communication was excellent. His focus and skill level is exemplary.

Fantastic experience: Hello I had severe tooth ache for approx 3-4 weeks, I refused to go to the dentist as I had suffered childhood trauma at the hands of a dentist who should never have seen children. I finally had to relent as the pain was so bad, I saw Tracey who put me at ease straight away and within 15-20 mins she had the tooth out. I was amazed at not being so scared she really put me at ease and the dental nurse Emilia was lovely to.

Fantastic experience: The Banyule dental group is nothing short of amazing. The team of people are so kind and caring. Tracey did an amazing job of my invisaline and I couldn’t be happy with the result. She went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable, happy and informed on how to care for my teeth. Highly recommended for anyone looking to do the invisaline treatment.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to say a big thank you to Enrico and his nurse Susan. Not just that they made time for me today with moving around patients but the care they gave me was beyond professional. It was my second root canal treatment from Enrico and again I didn't have any pain. Both were so lovely constantly checking if I'm ok since I'm very scared. Thank you guys I might start liking from now on visiting the dentist

Fantastic experience: Dora at the front desk was incredible as was Dr. Enrique, they were able to fit me in on the day for an emergency extraction and chase up previous xrays before my visit. Dora is so kind and went above and beyond, after desperately calling around most of the morning to find someone to help me I'm really glad I found these guys.

Positive experience: Well equipped and laid out surgery but wow they change like wounded bulls. Haven’t been to see a dentist in a loooong time and have some issues so went for a checkup. They gave me some prices and thought I’d price check before getting anything done as you do! And wow ! 30-40% more expensive than everywhere else…. Will not be stepping back in there again

Fantastic experience: In my mind, dentists are up there with mechanics and used car salesmen for upcharging and telling you that you need to do X now or it'll be way worse later. Not so Banyule Dental. We went there after an accident nearby, they saw us immediately cleaned up my daughter, gave us a blanket before saying that we needed to head to the royal children's. No charge (they let us keep the blanket). Then when there was an issue with the braces, they saw her the same day we called for some orthodontic work. The charge? $25. That's right, what you pay per person to have brekkie out. Amazing. Thankyou Banyule Dental and Enrique for restoring (at least partially) my faith in humanity.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a tooth removal. Unfortunately my tooth was stubborn and some of it refused to come out but that is of no fault to the team here. Dr Tracey Quach and her assistant made sure I knew my options before beginning the procedure. During the procedure, I was well looked after and had honestly never felt more relaxed going to the dentist; which for a procedure like this, is the best thing I didn’t even have to ask for. After it was done, I was presented with even more options on how to proceed with the stubborn tooth, being given detail about each choice. Also, the staff in Reception were nice and the phone call was quick and easy. Update as of 06/2021: The team here at Banyule Dental are still the best! I had to go in multiple times this year to get an entire mouth of fillings done (this was because of my old bad habits) and each time was just as good as the last. Dr Tracey is still the best dentist I’ve had work on my teeth and you can just tell from the results that she cares about the work she does and her patients. Thank you so much Tracey for doing the work you do I’m making a promise that I’ll do better with my diet and eat a lot less sugar From an ex-chocolate addict.

Fantastic experience: Have never attended Banyule Dental before but they slotted me in for an emergency procedure when my normal dentist couldn’t give me an appointment until a week later. The service was professional and the reception staff were considerate and welcoming. I will be back!

Fantastic experience: I took my 3 year old for his first dentist visit. The whole team were amazing!! The ladies at reception were so friendly and chatty with him. The hygienist and the dentist (Tracey) put him at ease immediately. Letting him pick his own 'special' glasses at the beginning of his visit and then picking a prize from the dentist's cupboard at the end made it such a positive experience for him. Thank you for making his first visit so easy for him (and me)!

Fantastic experience: It's really hard to change dentist when you have extreme anxiety about dental work, but I needed to a couple of years ago when I moved into the area. Recommended by family members who also live in the area, I'm glad I chose them! Front desk staff are lovely, and I think I've seen most of the dentists at one stage, and I'd recommend any of them. It all looks very welcoming (love the fish tank!). I'm a challenging patient due to my anxiety and they are very comforting and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: This amazing team managed to squeeze me (a new patient) in for a root canal three weeks before Christmas after Melbourne has just come out of a lockdown. The atmosphere of this dentist is very calming and relaxing and I was fortunate enough to be seen by Dr Enrique and Leeanne. Every time I had to get an injection Leeanne put her hand on my shoulder which I felt was a wonderfully human touch during the era of social distancing. I'm not scared of dentists but both of them checked in with me regularly to see if I am okay, and were incredibly gentle. I even managed to fall asleep in the middle of my root canal. We are new to the area and I have lived in a number of countries before coming to Australia and I can hands down say this is the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a dentist. Everyone I dealt with was kind and caring and my family and I have definitely found our new dentists. Thank you!!

Negative experience: Go somewhere else unless you have deep pockets and great teeth. Dentists were nice, which is important for me because I have pretty extreme dental anxiety. Called them on the phone and told them that I have impacted wisdom teeth and that I was in really bad pain and needed to have the teeth removed. They saw me, looked at my xray and then told me... that I have impacted wisdom teeth and that I was in really bad pain and needed to have the teeth removed. They said that my gum was infected and gave me a plastic syringe and told me to rinse my mouth out after I eat. They were also nice enough to give me some pain killers. Charged me $355 and told me that they weren't able to take my teeth out because of covid. I went somewhere else and had a free consultation and am getting my teeth out. Turns out that I had an infection in my jawbone too.

Fantastic experience: We went here for my 6 YO daughter’s check up. Had the best experience I could ask for. Everyone knew how to deal with a young kid. Kristina (Reception), the Tracy (dentist) and the lovely young lay(dentist assistant ) did amazing job. Strongly recommend and will go back again. Reasonable price , cost us $109.00 a general check up + X-ray
