Fantastic experience: I needed a new Dentist & happened to be at Cannon Hill Mall where I found ‘My Dentist at Cannon Hill’. I have a programme to replace & repair and could not be happier with the results! What makes this particular clinic so amazing (and helpful), is the technology in the equipment. This includes reducing any discomfort to a minimum & I was amazed that they actually make any crowns onsite - you can actually watch it happening! This obviously reduces the wait time so you can do a bit of shopping whilst you wait 30 minutes for the crown to be completed and not have to come back for a second appointment. Overall, the whole team are professional, welcoming & Tony & his Team are kind & caring.

Negative experience: The male dentist I had was tad rude, very abrupt with his tone. Not empathetic to someone who can't afford much dental work. Also the worse part, while they were shoving metal clamps plates in my mouth for pictures taken, the women pulled hard and it cracked my tooth at side, and that then cast me money at another dentist to fix, so I had no issues really until I went to them....terrible dental place

Fantastic experience: This practice will do everything to make you feel at ease. I have the biggest fears of dentists but they are so very kind here. I see Preston and he is wonderful. The assistants are wonderful and Cheree at the front desk is so friendly. The make your crown while you are there. They show you real photos of your teeth. They discuss everything with you. Give them a try and I am sure you will go back.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency broken filling repaired by Preston and had a wonderful experience. It was a big filling and I felt very little discomfort, was communicated with throughout and all the reception staff were all lovely.

Fantastic experience: Dr Alex and the admin & dental assistant team are very professional and caring in their service! I first came here for an emergency wisdom tooth removal. Something I was very anxious about. But Dr Alex & the team made it a very seamless procedure. Thankfully my tooth was easy to get out as well but I was so shocked at how quick & painless it was. I’m now going back after a clean and consult for a treatment plan. I appreciate how if you ask, they will prioritise order of importance of work that is needing to be done, even outlining what would be great to get done asap, what can wait a few months and what you can take your time doing over the course of a year. If you do a consult/check up, be prepared to have your portrait taken! It’s really cool how they take photos of your face and in your mouth of your teeth. They take the time after to make sure you understand what is going on with your mouth and how to care for it. There is no lecturing you like a naughty child, just kind education with no assumptions or judgement. So far the level of skill seems very high. When having fillings done elsewhere it’s always a very uncomfortable, sometimes painful experience. I haven’t had much discomfort here besides my jaw getting a bit sore like it normally does at any dentist appointment. The administration of the anaesthetic was hardly noticeable. I’m not left a drooling mess afterwards either. I will continue my treatment plan here. I’ve now moved 40 minutes away, but already considering to stay here for the 2 x yearly check ups as well.

This was a huge decision as I am a very anxious dental patient! I chose My Dentist At Cannon Hill on recommendation, reputation, location and brand new clinic. After having an extremely thorough examination and clean I was given a comprehensive assessment of my teeth and recommended dental work. The explanation was informative, clear and a written quote provided. After completing a series of visits I am thrilled with the results and I coped really well with the genuine care of this clinic (and a little bit of help from the distraction of Netflix films and headphones)! I’m so happy (relieved) with my decision to choose MDCH!

I ended up having to get a wisdom tooth pulled out and the last time I had to get a tooth pulled out from another dentist it was so bad but thankfully I found a good dentist now.

Fantastic experience: I would strongly recommend this practice especially for kids - Dr Preston saved the day! I wanted to give a 10 stars review if possible. Also I want to give special thanks to the reception ladies who are very caring and considerate, making me feel like family. My 6 years old daughter had multiple cavities and to start with we went to Kids Dental and My Braces with Dr P Y Lai whose service is totally overpriced and unfriendly. They requested to put my daughter under the GA (general anaesthetic) because Dr P Y Lai and his staffs thought my daughter didn’t co-operate. The reality is these Doctors worked in Kids Dental and My Braces were lack of patience and individual care. I insist that I don’t want put my 6 yrs old under GA because I knew she can cope and manage if only their staffs can be more gentle and patient with her but Dr Lai refused and threaten not to see her if we disagree with GA. Luckily I found My Dentist At Cannon Hill – Dr Preston who gives me hope and the care we have been longing for. Dr Preston solved the problem that cant be solved by a paediatric specialist. He is extremely caring, patient, talented dentist who put children in to ease. He helped to fix all the bad cavities including a space management crown and throughout the process my daughter were very happy and there is no GA involved. (this clearly proofed Dr P Y Lai was incorrect about his statement) As mums, we knew what our kids. In terms of the cost, I was only charged for 1/3 of the price that Kids Dental and My Braces with Dr P Y Lai quoted me for. I can really tell the quality of service provided by Dr Preston and his team is superb at My Dentist At Cannon Hill. If you have a fussy kids with multiple dental problems – I would strong recommend you come to see Dr Preston!

Fantastic experience: My Dentist at Cannon Hill have taken incredible care of me! I reached out using the online chat service one morning (terrified in bed under the covers) and ended up at an emergency appointment later that day - on a weekend no less! I felt so safe and relaxed by the time I was leaving I found myself booking my full dentist check up appointment for later in the year. I cannot recommend Dr Betty and Anna enough for nervous patients - they are kind and patient while not coddling, they make time to listen to all of my questions, and both have a super gentle touch. I’ve had a pretty rough time with my teeth, but I didn’t feel judged - I came away feeling supported and empowered! Dentists like this are one in a million. I wish I could bring you overseas with me. Fantastic experience: I wish Dr. Tony had been available 30 years ago! My teeth probably would have been perfect now. He is THE BEST dentist I have ever seen in my life; so so so thorough in everything that he does. My teeth have never been cleaned as well as what he has done for me. You walk out of the room and fully understand what a great dentist experience should be. Dr. Tony has really helped me learn better practices for taking care of my teeth and gums. Instead of berating me for not flossing (I really struggle with it) he instead took the time and came up with an alternative approach and since then I have been very good; keeping up my daily regimen of picksters. Also, the referrals he has give me to other practitioners has been top class. Let's also not forget the amazing staff at My Dentist Cannon Hill. They are all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Truly all amazing and wonderful people who are so kind. Thank you so much for all the assistance you've given me, sometimes at a moments notice - you are legendary and worthy of an award of some kind. Being a patient of Tony's, I continuously receive comprehensive and thorough dental care which is extremely difficult to find. In addition to Dr Tony's exceptional care, the staff are just as wonderful and caring making each visit very pleasant. Easily a #1 Dental Practice in my opinion and I would highly recommend seeing Dr Tony for all dental treatment

Negative experience: I was totally disapppointed with the service I received and can only describe my experience as pure ripoff and greed. I requested an appointmemt at 9am and was told to come back st 13:40, I attended the appointment as I had toothache and left with the same toothache. Once in the dentist chair I was told he couldn't do an xray but would try and see what was causing the toothache. He poked around and applied freeze agent to the tooth which I indicated was sensitive before he took a look. On conclusion he told me I need to brush and floss but I questioned why I only have pain when I bite down and he replied the gum is inflamed. I find this hard to believe is the cause as I would have pain all the time and not just when bitting or chewing. I then was told to go to the reception and was charged for this utter waste of time and asked when I would like to make another appointment. This is robbery, they should have phoned me and told me they couldnt do an xray as with out it they really can not filfull the service, furthermore I told the dentist this tooth was sensitive and yet they carried out the freeze test and charged me for that too. Then to ask if I would like another appointment to get a further consult fee when they can do xrays is just greed and money grabbing.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had many bad experiences with the dentist and before coming to My Dentist I was so afraid to go I put it off for so long that I comprised my Oral health. Since visiting a few times I’m so much more confident with the dentist, staff are so lovely and reassuring. Couldn’t recommend any other dentist! :)
