Fantastic experience: I went to Mia Dental Centre and had an amazing experience. From the reception to the highly qualified professionals, everyone was very attentive and helped me find the solution I had been looking for. I definitely recommend booking an appointment and getting a check-up with some of the best dental specialists around!

Negative experience: I would not recommend Mia Dental or Dr Suleman Saddiqui. He was introduced to us as a paediatric dentist, but I was shocked at the way he spoke to my son. There was nothing caring or gentle in his approach and instead of reassurance he simply told my child to “suck it up.” My son experienced strong negative effects from the gas and became very unwell. Only after the second visit was finished did he finally recommend anti nausea medication. This should have been addressed straight away. From the beginning the treatment plan was very expensive. On top of that he made sure to stretch it out far beyond what was first discussed. A plan that should have been completed in three bookings was dragged into five through shorter sessions that only left my son feeling more uneasy and more traumatised each time. On one occasion we were left waiting for over an hour in the waiting room with no communication. When I asked why, I was told they were simply very busy. If you are so overbooked then you should not schedule so many patients at once. Overall I found the service uncaring, poorly managed and unprofessional. We will not be returning. If you are seeking a good paediatric dentist I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Negative experience: I had a traumatic experience this year at Mia Dental. It was the only clinic open around Christmas time in my area. While my first appointment for filling went ok, the next time I went, I was waiting for the appointment for about 15-20 mins, which is not the reason for 1 star, this shouldn’t happen either but it’s ok. What happened next, left a really bad experience for me so much so that after 8 months, I still remember what I went through and finally thought of leaving a review. I was taken in and since the doctor was not ready, the other staff members cleaned and got my tooth numb and clamped. But the doctor didn’t come for 20-25 mins, (I think it was even more) but I remember just feeling so anxious being there by myself for most part of it, with my mouth open the entire time looking at their tv screen just to see the time go by. I didn’t have my phone on me, so I couldn’t notify my husband that I needed assistance. Doctor finally came in, and yes he said sorry but didn’t mean anything to me, I was not feeling well, when he inspected the tooth, the numbness had worn off! Because it had been that long!!! Anyway, I walked out that day because I didn’t feel taken care of, and without getting any treatment my mouth was swollen, jaw hurt. Miserable..

Fantastic experience: We knew Dr Suliman from a previous centre for 10 years. This year my wife and I had a very serious surgery with him. All-in -6 dental implant surgery and from the beginning of the process Dr Suliman showed his professionalism, finding the right option for my wife and I and both surgeries went successfully and we are so happy with the result. It's so important to find a doctor who you can trust and someone who provides quality results and this is our experience with Dr Suliman and his great team! Sometimes it's tempting to go for the cheaper option somewhere but it's most important to prioritise the right doctor for the job as that is where the true value for money comes from, especially for tricky scenarios. Fantastic experience: I cannot fault this dental clinic, we have been going here for a few years after trying other clinics in the area and none feeling right with pushy dentists. Dr Siddiqui is different, tells you whats wrong, breaks the price down and advises what to do first if you cant afford it all. We had an emergency with our 6 yr old and they stayed open on a friday evening to make sure she got sorted and thats a 5/5 for us! Would not go anywhere else.

I bit the bullet in October last year and booked a consultation with the Mia Dental team. To my surprise, they were nothing but kind, friendly and welcoming and even gave me my consultation free of charge. I required several fillings and wisdom teeth extractions following my consult. Gemma and the team were super helpful in providing me quotes for all services required and gave me an ample amount time to consider the time and money it would cost to have the work done. Throughout my treatment sessions, both Dr Suliman and Nicole made me feel comfortable and confident in their care. Nicole has been a great companion through some not so nice treatments and is always super hubby and friendly which makes a world of difference when you’re building rapport with your patients and are about to drill and scrape inside their mouth! Post wisdom extractions I received courtesy follow up calls just to check in on my healing progress and am always greeted with genuine conversation when I return. All of the staff made me feel comfortable and safe from the second I walked through reception. I was greeted by the lovely receptionist Suzie with a warm smile. She was very gentle spoken which set the environment calm. I was then taken in to the room and seen by Nicole who was very thorough, understanding and kind. And then the very professional, calming and gentle Dr Suliman worked his magic and was done quicker than expected, but by no means does that mean it was rushed. I'm so happy with my experience and what the extraction site looks like. I'll definitely be back in the future and recommend Mia Dental Centre to all I can! Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: A few years ago i had my top wisdom teeth removed at another dentist and it was traumatic to say the least. So when I heard that I needed my bottoms removed I was very very scared. However I did feel more comfortable knowing Dr Suliman would be performing the extraction but I still was nervous. The team let me bring in a blanket and a teddy to relax me and by the time I left and at 35 years of age I named that teddy Sully in his honor. Compared to my prior experience at the other dentist, this experience was almost pleasant. I kept waiting for the scary part at which point he said we were done! Dr Suliman was so gentle and amazing and my recovery has been a stark contrast to my previous experience. I had minimal to no swelling and very little after pain. I can not thank Dr Suliman enough for being so amazing at what he does and I feel very happy to know that i have found a great dentist and don't need to fear visiting this practice. Fantastic experience: My experience here was definitely the best I’ve ever had. As a minimum wage worker going to the dentist is always a struggle and they gave me what I needed to feel comfortable no extra cost as I guess he could see I was very nervous. I had to get a wisdom tooth out and the whole time I was so comfortable here including the numbing needles, I never felt a thing . Dr Suliman and his staff are definitely the best and I’d trust them with anything.

Fantastic experience: I had my first dental appointment today, my first in about 8 years and I was very, very nervous. My appointment was with Dr.Suliman & team (Michelle & I can’t think of the other ladies name - my apologies) I also had a child minder cancel on me so I had my 8 week old baby with me, Anyway from stepping inside the doorway the receptionist was chatty, kind and very informative made me feel calmer instantly. Then I was called to the room with Michelle and the other lady where they also made me feel very calm and welcome. Explained step by step what they were doing and they even helped settle my newborn for me who was crying and stirring in her pram. Dr.Suliman did amazing work on my teeth and I instantly seen/felt a major difference once he has finished. He showed me the before and after pictures and explained different ways to improve and “fix” my teeth all this time Michelle had my bubs feeding her a bottle, winding her and rocking her - I’m ever so thankful as I really didn’t want to reschedule my appointment after it took me so long to “trust” a dentist again from a traumatic experience many years ago. Anyway I’m back in 6 weeks for a second clean and a few fillings in between and all I can say is the team here is very welcoming, warm, helpful and they do excellent work and it’s right on my doorstep so yes I would highly recommend you to Mia Dental, Drovers Market place Wanneroo. Negative experience: Very disappointed with the treatment from Mia Dental my 1st appointment found out i needed root canal work so next 2 appointments getting tooth ready and $1100 later went in for my 4th appointment sat in waiting room for 20min then get told dentist went home sick ( no phone call ) made appointment a week later (cancelled) the receptionist said she would contact when dentist was back in and nothing for months. Went in to asked for reports on what was done and they only have 2 reports and 2 receipts when asked for the 3rd i was told there was 2 and i didnt have a 3 appointment which is wrong. They have no record of me paying $550 which is very disappointing. The manager didnt seem to really care also not even asking if i wanted ro see a dentist or try to help. So very unhappy with the service i received from Mia Dental.

Fantastic experience: My son has recently completed his treatment with Mia Dental after a fall at work resulted in facial trauma that required extensive dental work. At all times throughout his treatment Dr Suliman and his staff were honest and thorough. They provided emergency dental treatment at very short notice and were caring and calm during a very stressful situation for us. They continued with his treatment over the busy Christmas period and were professional and accommodating at all times. I would most definitely recommend Dr Suliman and Mia Dental to anyone who is looking for routine dental care and to anyone requiring more complicated dental procedures. They went above and beyond in their care for our son.
