Fantastic experience: This is a terrific team, led by Dr Joe Alphonse. They're professional, understanding, patient, efficient and highly skilled. I've just completed the process of getting 3 implants and every step left me feeling confident that I was in excellent hands. Dr Joe has very sophisticated imaging tools, he clearly explains the process and, more importantly, he's happy to answer any questions and discuss options, while treating you with respect. Getting implants is a big decision and a multi-step process and I'm SO glad I chose Oatlands Dental.

Positive experience: I’ve been a regular patient at Oatlands Dental for a few years now, and the staff are always wonderful and kind. However, I’ve had ongoing frustrations with their lack of transparency regarding price increases. I used to pay $130 for a basic clean, but at one of my appointments, I was unexpectedly charged $150—with no prior notice. I only found out after my treatment. I expressed my concerns to the receptionist, as I felt it was unfair not to be informed beforehand. A few months later, I returned for another appointment, expecting to pay $150. After my service, I was then told the price had increased again—this time to $175. Once again, there was zero communication before my appointment about the change considering I already expressed my frustration when it happened the first time. When I questioned it, I was simply told it was due to inflation. While I understand that prices increase, so does the cost of living for customers, and a price jump like this should have been communicated before the appointment. Who’s to say I even had the extra $25 on the day? I am a regular customer of theirs the least they could have done is taken the initiative to let their customers know either on the day before walking into the room, email/sms notifications, or simply a phone call the moment they changed their prices. Their website claims they value honesty and transparency, but this experience does not reflect that when it comes to pricing. If you choose to visit this practice, be cautious and always ask about the costs upfront to avoid unexpected charges.

Fantastic experience: Attended my first consultation with Dr Joe alongside my partner and was honestly one of the best experiences we both experienced with a dentist. Dr Joe clearly explained the suitable procedures we both need and we can not wait to start our procedures to achieve our smile/teeth goals!!

I had severe pain due to wisdom teeth from 5 days and doctor Joe pulled my pain in few seconds without any pain and I dont have any issue after that and I stopped taking my pain killer on same day evening. Fantastic experience: Wow! For someone that is quite literally in tears and anxiety before stepping foot into a dentist, Dr Joe had me laughing in the dentist chair! AMAZING staff, each and every one of the team are nothing short of a pleasure to deal with. My dental extraction was the most comfortable dentist trip to date, and I am petrified of the dentist.
