Fantastic experience: I found my new favourite dentist in Chatswood! I saw Dr Linbei for a check up and clean. She is friendly, gentle and extremely thorough in explaining findings in an easy-to-understand way. I also had a jaw xray done and she talked to me about treatment for my impacted wisdom teeth, which I didn't even know I had! Thanks to the entire team for making me feel cared for and relaxed during the whole experience. I will be back soon!

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been terrified of dentists and avoided them for years… until one night I was in serious pain and my husband found this clinic. I reluctantly went — and I’m so glad I did. They made me feel safe, calm, and genuinely cared for, even while pulling a tooth. The care here is miles above any gap-free dentist we’ve used before. My daughter recently had a filling and didn’t even realise she’d had an injection — they were that gentle and reassuring. Watching how they work with children is amazing. They take the time, they explain everything at the child’s level, and they make sure kids feel safe. So glad we found this place. Highly, highly recommend — especially if you’ve had fear or trauma around dental visits. Fantastic experience: I started going to TranscenDental just over a year ago now as it was recommended by my family who were already regulars as I wanted to get Invisalign. Before I could start I had to remove all my wisdom teeth which was a tricky process as my wisdom teeth were growing sideways and very close to some nerves but Doctor Josephine Ahn made the whole process super easy and did everything very swiftly and professionally. I am now at the end of my Invisalign journey and I could not be happier with the results!! I have friends that are also currently doing Invisalign but it’s clear that not all dentists/doctors put so much care into their patients and the Invisalign process like TranscenDental / Doctor Josephine Ahn puts in. Negative experience: 1st time there since my regular dentist was away and was urgent. The service was good. However, they took the entire Medicare rebate for just one visit. 3 wks later, the tooth got infected again, and we went to our regular dentist, he took the baby tooth out and prescribed the correct dose of antibiotics . As a result, problem got fixed with reasonable cost. I probably won’t go back there. I believe work ethic is more important than just “good service”.

Fantastic experience: Got my braces done after 3 years of monthly visit. Highly recommend Dr Josephine and her staff, they are very professional, friendly, super approachable and responsive. After the first consultation, I remembered Dr Josephine made a presentation slide to show me the customised solution plan and possible alternatives with great details, then patiently explain the risks and benefits of different options in simple language. Not only does she has great personality, she is the most gentle and skilful dentist I’ve ever met, I hardly feel discomfort or pain throughout the process and therefore I am excited about going in once in a while and see progress every time. Needless to say, I am very happy with the end result. Catherine and Alex are always responsive and supportive about my request, make me feel safe and welcomed to talk to them too.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with TDC after losing a tooth for 3 months. They helped me "find" my tooth again, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Josophine was my primary dentist, and she was extremely kind, professional, and caring. Her excellent skills minimized the pain throughout the process, which made a huge difference for me. As a non-native English speaker, I sometimes struggled to express myself clearly, but Josophine patiently explained everything to me, ensuring I understood each step. After my first surgery, TDC added me on WeChat (the Chinese version of WhatsApp) to check in on me and ask about my post-surgery condition. This level of care and attention made me feel valued and supported. During the initial consultation, TDC provided me with a roadmap, which I really appreciated. After each appointment, I knew exactly where I was in the process and when I could expect to complete it, giving me something to look forward to. I am very grateful to Josophine, Cathy, and Sheree for their hard work and dedication. Thank you, TDC, for making this experience as smooth and comfortable as possible! Now my tooth is "back". Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to write this review for a while now, i do struggle with reviews. This review is to help others make a decision when looking at booking with TranscenDental! DO IT! I can not express my gratitude enough for this dental facility. They go above and beyond, quickly cleaning my plaque build up without mentioning anything (i noticed, thank you!), caring for their patients and i really hope they do not lose this touch. I have had some terrible dental experiences and FEARED the dentist a lot. Unfortunately i needed a root canal and 2x crowns as i was so worried about going back to the dentist i just took the pain to avoid it. I have now had 1 crown completed and am in the process of the root canal now before the next crown. After the first sitting i was convinced, THERE IS GOOD DENTAL OUT THERE! I return to this dentist so relaxed even for major work like this, I'm not worried at all, I AM CURED! All thanks to these 3 wonderful people, i appreciate the help so much and am so grateful. Fantastic experience: I was very happy with my service by Josephine and Catherine. I was quite anxious not having been to a dentist in many years and have quite a sensitive gag reflex. But the team was very supportive and not judgemental at all despite having developed a few cavities. They were also very patient and encouraging knowing my anxieties before the session (I even got a stress ball fidget toy which helped). She is incredibly skilled and caring in all that she does. My search for a good dentist followed a bad experience with my previous dentist where I was told a cracked tooth could not be saved and that I would need an extraction and then have it replaced with an implant. Fantastic experience: Thank you to Dr Josephine Ahn and her team at Transcendental: Alex, Catherine and Sheree. I highly recommend coming here, I have been with them for my dental journey for about 1 year and 6 months now Invisalign treatment. They are absolutely lovely, patient, gentle and trustworthy. The Transcen Team are genuine and are always happy to assist with any questions you may have before starting the treatments, extremely through with the entire process. The place is calming, bright and very welcoming. Patients can even watch Netflix to relax while your teeth is being serviced. Once again I can’t thank them enough as they helped me build my confidence and self esteem and now I am constantly smiling and receiving compliments from friends and family.

Negative experience: I went for a shaky bridge to be fixed after cleaning. I informed the doctor the bridge could come out anytime (there were no other issues, no pain etc.). The doctor didn't fix it at all and spent all the time after an xray and xray storage fee, why I needed a $8000 dental treatment, a root canal and a new bridge or a dental implant. Unfortunately a few days later the bridge came off while eating, untreated by this doctor, causing me a lot of discomfort. I went to another dentist who cleaned up the cavity extremely well, examined the xray and fitted the bridge very professionally.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has spent too much of his life terrified of dentists, I wish I’d met Dr Ahn sooner. I was lucky to find her at her previous practice, where she removed my wisdom teeth in a long overdue procedure, with expertise, calm assurance and excellent communication. I followed her to her new practice at TranscenDental and today she helped me through a difficult time with the same calm, friendly expertise. Fantastic experience: Went for wisdom teeth extraction, Dr Josephine was super nice and she explained thoroughly for the treatment procedures, risks and after care steps. I was watching netflix during the procedure and I was shocked by how fast she took the teeth out. Their staff was very professional and caring. They followed up with me the next day to ask me how I was doing, which was very touching. Super nice experience and I only came back to her for my dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Had my first dental examination, cleaning and restoration of resin filling done recently. Dr Ahn is pleasant, professional with her work and gives lots of useful information. Other staff are friendly and customer-oriented. Office and treatment room are bright and airy, located in a very convenient spot.
