The team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit feel much less stressful, especially for someone like me who gets a little anxious about dental appointments. The receptionist is super empathetic and always greets me with a smile, and they even provide a stress ball and put on Friends during treatments to keep things lighthearted.

Negative experience: Juliet (reception) is friendly and Dr Annie Lin was all right in my experience. I have been a patient for a couple of years but will not be back after a couple of poor experiences recently. The new assistant was incompetent and it felt like I was being drowned about half the time during a clean. In a follow up appointment I waited half an hour before being told it will be an even longer wait... why was I not told that when I walked in or better yet a quick phone call or SMS in advance?

Fantastic experience: I haven't been to the dentist in a long while and when I bit the bullet to finally go in, I was given nothing but the absolute care from the team here at Showground Dental. Dr Chen is an amazing dentist who went above and beyond to take care of my teeth and ensure they were back to full health. She was kind and considerate while also being very informative in what steps I needed on my way to recovery, especially when I needed advice or opinions on matters relating to my dental health. The dental assistants and front desk staff are always so lovely to deal with and they do everything they can to make my time there comfortable (shout out to the front desk receptionist who is always lovely and friendly when I'm making appointments, and also to Dr Chens dental assistant who kept me calm when I was having a wisdom tooth pulled out ☺️) 5 stars is nearly not enough for all the people who work here and they've certainly earned my long term patronage. Fantastic experience: This is the best dental surgery I’ve attended. Thank you everyone. As a new patient, I was worried about finding a good dentist in the area as I am someone who finds going to the dentist very stressful. I found all staff exceptionally caring, highly knowledgeable and gentle. Juliet in reception was so kind, attentive and welcoming. Dr Amy Liu and Dental assistant Nyandeng were so friendly and gentle. They worked together seamlessly. Dr Amy talked me through each step of my procedures and listened to me. She took great care to make sure all injections and work etc were as painless as possible and made sure I couldn’t feel a thing. She even let me listen to my audiobook on my AirPods whilst in the chair. Can’t fault this team. Thanks everyone for making my dental visits so much less stressful than those I’ve had in the past! You are all fabulous!

Fantastic experience: I've seen Dr Albert (and his assistant Cyren) several times over the last few months to carry out my treatment plan which we worked on together with cost, comfort and convenience considered. I cannot fault him, he's very patient, kind and caring and made sure I was aware and understood what was happening. Dr Albert always ensured that my comfort is the priority. The surgery is very forthcoming with costs so you can prepare and Sophie on reception is lovely and personable. I always appreciate the follow up calls the next day too.

Fantastic experience: I never leave reviews but the team led by Dr. Annie deserve one! I had an emergency appointment 2 weeks ago, dentist on duty Dr.Yao alleviated my symptoms promptly, then I was scheduled to have the affected wisdom tooth extracted today by Dr. Albert. I must praise his amazing skills that made an procedure normally to be done by an oral surgeon so easy. The 3 dentists I have had in this clinic all have been excellent! If Google review allow six stars then Showground Dental would definitely be six stars worthy!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have seen Dr Annie for approx 5 years. We no longer live or work near this surgery but their service levels are always at the highest level, we don’t want to risk trying anyone else (plus they’re great with toddlers!). Not necessarily the cheapest but definitely worth visiting if you are in need of a good dentist you can trust. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great dentist. Two wisdom teeth removed in chair. Topical anaesthetic applied before the needle resulted in a pain free preparation. Both teeth removed quickly and painlessly thereafter. No pain the next day. Reception followed up the next day to see how I was going. Excellent dental surgery and would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Albert Lin is a miracle worker My wisdom tooth cracked and I was dealing with severe pain on top of already being super nervous about going to most dentist I was reassured and could never have felt in safer hands. On a removal which was deemed by other dentists as extremely risky due to my wisdom tooth being so close to my major nerve Dr. Albert Lin studied my X-Rays and had it out without any issues. I would rest any dental issues in his capable hands along with his entire team at Showgrounds dental. 10/10

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I have ever been! I have met both dentists working there and they are always nice, friendly and professional! Receptionists are always nice too. They are willing to answer to any questions you have, very informative. Super happy I found this dentist, they assist me a lot. One negative thing I would say is the waiting time. I often have to wait 15min-30min, so I don’t want to make appointment when I have something right after that. Even so they don’t deserve -1 star for me! I definitely recommend this dentist to everyone!

From baby teeth that wouldn't fall out and would have to be removed piece by piece, I was always too frightened to go to the dentist and get my teeth fixed. I got my check up and clean done at Showground Dental at Bowen Hills, and oh my goodness. I am no longer a nervous patient! The dentists are very professional and caring and the assistants/reception staff are always so welcoming, positive and calming. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure that you feel 100% comfortable, calm and relaxed. This dental surgery looks out for their customers and always delivers to a high, professional standard. From root canals to Invisalign, extractions and check up and cleans, Showground Dental are the ones you need to be booking with!

Fantastic experience: Friendly receptionist and dentist. The dentist I saw was clear with his explanations and addressed my concerns. Also the clean was not painful.

Negative experience: That was the worse experience ever! He made a mistake and injected the anaesthesia into my blood vessel! my heart bit started racing and my body got shaking! At the end he was unsuccessful with my treatment and told me that he could not do what he had in mind! The guy is from Singapore and just want to chat instead of focusing on his job! At the end the simply charged me 95$! and I experienced numbness on my left side of body for couple of hours!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Showground Dental for 2 years, in the beginning for sheer convenience of location and now due to great service, from the reception desk through to the dentists and assistants at the practice. I always feel well looked after and they have great solutions for recurring appointments and reminders.

Fantastic experience: Just got a filling done with Dr Albert without local anesthetic and Penthrox (the green stick) something I though I would never be able to do. He saved me heaps. Dr Albert was gentle and reassuring. I can't recommend him enough and will be telling all my friends and family. I also got two fillings done by Dr Amanda in December and she did a great a job and I was completely pain free throughout my procedure.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr Annie Lin and her team at Showground Dental on the 24/11/2016 after experiencing constant discomfort/pain in bottom left hand side of my mouth. The overall experience was surprisingly pleasant for a dental visit! From the warm welcome received at reception to the highly professional and comprehensive care provided by Dr Lin and her team, I felt completely at ease and comfortable during the treatment. Every aspect of the treatment was explained in detail including preventative care. I believe this dental clinic would also be suitable for adults and children as the Dr, dental assistants and general staff form quite a vibrant team. Highly recommended.
