Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr Rishay since the clinic changed hands a couple years ago. From the outset I was very impressed by his thoroughness, kind and friendly demeanour and excellent skills in his profession. I have gone through the process of being fitted for a mouthguard which has gone smoothly and eliminated tooth sensitivity that had been bothering me for some time. Sandy at front desk is absolutely lovely and the clinic is comfortable and spotless. Highly recommend Care for Smiles and for those who are immunocompromised or taking precautions around COVID or other respiratory illness for any reason I’ve found the team very willing to accomodate this extra precaution by wearing PPE in clinic when requested.

Positive experience: Good dentists here and no concerns with the quality of care. However, I’ve rated it lower due to the persistent phone calls and booking reminders, which have become excessive and frustrating. I’ve received multiple calls and messages over several days for non-urgent matters, which I don’t consider necessary. As their number appears as unknown on my phone, calls go straight to voicemail—but instead of leaving a message, they often ring repeatedly. I would strongly suggest moving to a more modern approach, such as online booking or a telehealth platform, and relying on voicemail or SMS for non-urgent updates.

Fantastic experience: I have health issues which make going to the dentist very difficult – significant head and facial pain, as well as TMJ. After seeing Rishay for my first appointment at this clinic today, I’m so relieved to have a new regular dentist who I can trust. Not only did he communicate very well, he was very considerate of my comorbidities and made sure I was comfortable throughout. By far my easiest dentist experience ever. Rishay and his assistant were also very willing to wear N95s to reduce risk of respiratory illness which would be problematic for me. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Care For Smiles by a few people on social media, who like me, live with a loved one (husband) who has several challenging medical conditions and is immuno-suppressed. It is very important that I am not exposed to air borne viruses (Covid, Flu, RSV) in order to protect him, so I required a dental practise that uses clean air mitigations and staff also willing to wear N95 masks. Dr Rishay and Sandy had clearly read through my comments on the new patient documentation I submitted online, as both wore an Aura N95 mask (the same I wear!) and knowing about the installation of HEPA filters in their air conditioner system and dental surgery made me so reassured. The caring, respectful manner and incredibly professional service provided by Dr Rishay and Sandy was greatly appreciated, especially as I have not been to a dentist for a very long time and was very anxious. I also appreciated the quality time that Dr Rishay spent with me regarding my dental treatment plan, providing me with a comprehensive list and costings to take away and think about. Additionally Sandy was wonderful in providing me important information on what I could claim back on proposed procedures, in order for me to make the best possible informed decision. I 100% recommend Care For Smiles. Fantastic experience: I recently had a routine check-up and a crown put on a back molar at Care for Smiles. Dr Naidoo and his team are all very professional, friendly and efficient. Their communication is also top notch; from the booking to the procedure to the follow up. He also honoured his original quote for my gold crown, even though the market price had increased For those who are Covid-careful, Dr Naidoo and his assistant wore N95s, and I asked for the first appointment of the day at 8.30; the CO2 levels hovered from 6-700ppm, so pretty good. And he uses state-of-the-art technology (I might start calling him Inspector Gadget!)

Fantastic experience: I was first treated by Rosemary here and just loved the care she provided. I recently went for my check up with new owner Rishay Naidoo and he is just as amazing! He really spends the time to educate about what he is doing and why. He’s super attentive to comfort during his work, going as far as applying lip balm before the examination. I returned to him this morning for a replacement of a filling. He was very attentive to preventative pain management, with a fancy slow delivery system for local anaesthetic that didn’t hurt at all. He uses high quality equipment to get the best outcomes for his patients. I felt no pain whatsoever for the whole procedure. I haven’t waited for a moment in the waiting room. I’m always straight into the chair. He lets me choose the music played during my treatment and his fees are modest. I’m so glad that Fairfield has found someone as compassionate, capable and friendly as Rosemary to continue serving the local community. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was TERRIFIED the first time I came here - my teeth are really sensitive and I’d had a horrible painful experience with a local dentist - for two years after that I didn’t see a dentist at all. I’ve now been coming to Rosemary for three years and I no longer feel scared. She gives me a big fluffy ladybird toy to hug and a dose of Valium beforehand. My last visit we had gorgeous reggae music to listen to - the combination of reggae, Valium and the comical banter between Rosemary and her assistant makes it almost fun. If you have to visit the dentist (and you do, every six months), this is the way to do it!

Super patient with my kids and understanding, taking the time to explain and make them calm, and I have recently joined myself as a customer and I can't believe how much time Rosemary put on cleaning my teeth (it seems 10 min/year at my other dentist isn't normal, whereas Rosemary spent a whole HOUR with me!). Incredible, amazing.

Fantastic experience: I'll lead by saying that I don't normally like going to see dentists. I used to eat a lot of sweets as a kid and this led to my having some uncomfortable experiences when on the chair, so I've always been a bit leery of coming in. I saw Rosemary in 2017 for jaw and tooth pain in the back of my mouth. Through the consult she spent time explaining what needed to be done and she threw in a few jokes as well, which I appreciated. All that was happening was that I was grinding my teeth, but I might need some future work done which is a shame. I cannot stress how comfortable I felt throughout the whole appointment - everything in the clinic was almost tailored to make me feel at ease. The staff were friendly and had great banter amongst themselves, the treatment was largely painless, and I've got a followup plan should I ever need it. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've been to Care for Smiles on few occasions and have had pleasure of working with Dr. Rosemary and Dr. Nish. In both cases I was treated with respect, care and compassion. Negative experience: The worst experience in my life... I got a recommendation from my orthodontist to Dr Priti Rosemary Phillipos, however, it seems she is really busy and doesn't have available appointments during evenings. I booked a regular check-up and cleaning with Dr. Nish Aruliah, all went good, so next time I decided to go with my husband to the same person. Again we needed just regular check-ups and cleaning. However, after this appointment when we got home I noticed one of my front teeth was damaged – chipped. I know it's impossible to prove, anyway, I sent them an email about my "new" problem, as expected Dr. Nish Aruliah response was "...the instruments used to clean teeth are not able to chip or fracture teeth...". Do you think I don't remember how my front tooth used to look like? Sure... Of course it's not a big problem and can be fixed with small amount of filling... but it’s not what you expect to get after just “cleaning”. My husband was left with bleeding gums for more than 2 weeks, and back-side of teeth was not properly cleaned, there were still lots of places which required cleaning. Good job for 2x180bux.

Negative experience: Honestly, 1 star is being generous. I needed a routine clean and 2 fillings completed. They only completed 1 filling even though they said they had done both and it was the most horrific routine clean I have ever experienced. My mouth was bleeding and sore for the next 3 days and I had cuts all through my mouth. AMENDED: Also when it came to payment, I am with HCF which entitles me to 2 free cleans every year and the fillings should have been covered as they always are. They told me that they couldn't process my HCF for unknown reasons. HCF has since reimbursed me, however, don't say they are you nominated health care fund if you cant even process the HICAPS. Most ridiculous experience I have ever encountered. Their service is horrible and I will never be back. I would rather drive the 1 hour to see my previous dentist. Note: This Review has been amended ONLY removing the mention regarding the total amount paid - However being told by a business owner that I do not recall the events correctly is a joke. After receiving an email from Care for Smiles advising that I should re-evaluate my rating - You still get 1 star. It was a horrible experience. End of story. Sometimes you get good reviews, sometimes you get bad ones.. learn to accept that and rather than messaging each of your clients that does leave a bad review maybe use the negative feedback to improve your business rather than saying they are all wrong.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been seeing Dr Rosemary for almost two years now and I honestly can not speak more highly of her dentistry skills. Prior to seeing Rosemary, we had a negative experience with another dentist which had made us a little anxious when seeking dental care. Rosemary went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. She is wonderful at explaining everything she does all while being the most gentle dentist I have ever encountered. We feel very lucky to have such a caring dentist in our local community.

Negative experience: Gave me the wrong diagnosis, made fun of my pain, walked out no better than when I came in. Got a second opinion from another dentist, my sore tooth was fixed immediately. From the other reviews posted maybe the care is only selective.

Fantastic experience: Such a great dental clinic. The owner, Rosemary is beyond nice and makes you feel at ease. Chetan and Kath are an excellent team. They constantly check to make sure that you are okay and not in any discomfort. Honestly the best dentist that I have been to in Melbourne, hands down.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rosemary and the team are so lovely and professional. I had a filling today and the whole experience was so comfortable. Highly recommend. They are so great with my young children as well.

I normally avoid dentists like the ..... but he has made it enjoyable , the best dental nurse too! they all have great senses of humour .
