Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr Kala Raj for over 20 years and she’s consistently brilliant. She’s cared for our whole family. Our daughters (through their braces), my wife, and my 90+ year old mum with the same patience, care and attention to detail every time. Pricing is very reasonable, and the practice feels welcoming. The reception team and dental assistants are always friendly and professional. Since moving to Wollongong in 2018 I still make the trip back for my six-monthly appointments because the quality of care is worth it. If you want a trustworthy, caring dentist who looks after patients of all ages, I can’t recommend Dr Kala Raj highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Having been a patient at Brighter Smiles for over 2 decades Dr Kala is an extremely good Dentist with a great personal manner. She has a great team including her highly skilled and kind daughter Nina. Recently a had a tooth removed and a denture adjustment with Dr Hammad Khan. Kala only picks the best and Dr Hammad is in that category. Compassionate, clever, thoughtful, and highly skilled and able to diagnose the problem speedily. I don’t normally do google reviews but I felt compelled too after his wonderful help. After all going to the dentist is not something one looks forward too. . .

Fantastic experience: I wasn't happy with my upper partial denture. Mark Juweinat informed me that he could do better and he delivered. The new denture was so good, I actually cried. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure seeing Kala and her team, they always are happy to work with my children who need a little bit of extra support and time. There is never an issue with emergencies and they are regularly in contact with keeping us on track with our check ups and reminders

Fantastic experience: Brought my daughter up for a filling. She has an absolute fear of dentists due to past experiences. The dentist we saw today Dr Waseem was absolutely amazing. Her patience and skill with my little girl this morning was beyond spectacular. We will be making the hike for her annual check up from now on.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a crown done at Brighter Smiles and the whole experience was fantastic. I’d never really had a regular dentist before, but the team here made me feel completely at ease. The staff are friendly and professional, and my dentist (Kala) explained everything clearly and worked with real care. Booking follow up appointments was quick and easy. The clinic is clean, modern, and efficient. I’m happy to say I’ve finally found my go-to dentist!

Negative experience: Disappointment. After 38 years of loyalty this is how you're treated, poor communication, ignorance and poor attitude. This goes from their receptionists, to their dentists, to their practice manager. I have always booked my appointments 6 months out, due to dates/availability. To be notified 3 days out from a scheduled appointment that my dentist had recently left the practice. Receptionist misled me with information about my regular dentist, to when I would be rescheduled where the date had changed 3 times, to then be told a Saturday is no longer possible. Communication isn't something which this practice prides themselves on, which is disappointing when a client had been loyal to them for 38 years. I had requested the practice manager to call to discuss this further, and to rectify a solution. Unfortunately I haven't heard back from anyone...

Fantastic experience: Very good experience. Dr Nina Raj was gentle, informative and actually took the time to ask if I had any issues in general and when getting my teeth checked. I generally have my gums numbed at a general check up appt, due to them being sensitive, which I wasn't too keen on. This time, with Nina, I didn't need to have them numbed. This was because Nina was gentle and informative on other methods she could use to clean my teeth in a gentle manner. Will definitely see her again and would recommend.

Negative experience: Would give less stars if I could. Agreed to a treatment plan and then didnt stick to it. Pulled all of my uppers with interntions to get an immediated denture. Was told ok ok ok to get screwed over. Had to go to another denture specialist who to this day cant believe how much more than teeth were taken. Absoloutely terrible job and they did not care about the massive amounts of bone fragment left causing me pain. Go elsewhere. ZERO CARE FROM THESE BUTCHERS!

Fantastic experience: Brighter Smiles Dapto Dental have been a save and grace. I regularly visited my old dentist every 6 months since the late 70's and religiously brushed twice a day. Upon my first visit with Kala at BSDD. I was shocked to learn my teeth were in very bad shape. A periodontist was recommended and adhered to. After more than 10yrs or more of having my teeth cared for by Brighter Smiles Dapto Dental and the recommended periodontist. I am very pleased to say my teeth have never felt and looked so good.
