Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Sonia Campbel. She was exceptional. I can be really nervous but Sonia was just genuinely friendly and at ease, very efficient and sure handed. I more or less day dreamed my treatment away.

Naz makes it lots of fun and Sonya is caring and skilled in her treatments!

Fantastic experience: i have been going to Coastal Dental Care Kingy for several years and they are amazing. They have all the lastest high tech gear and it makes so much difference. Sonia Campbell is my dentist and she is so lovely and the best dentist - I can't recommend her highly enough. She and her lovely assistant Hayley are the best team ever. I'd give them 10 out of 5 if I could. So amazing to go to the dentist and not get tortured!! Sonia deserves lots of barrels and holidays to exotic locations and so does Hayley!! Absolutely love your work girls. If you can't decide on a dentist I swear you can't go wrong with this dynamic duo. The receptionists are lovely even though they gave a guy a cup of tea and a kid a free toothbrush and toothpaste and I pretty well got nothing... except kindness.... ah well... can't win them all ha ha Do yourself a favour as ole Molly would say. Fantastic experience: I was on holiday and had a large back tooth collapse. The pain was intense, however an urgent call to Coastal Dental Care and they slotted me in to their busy Saturday morning list. That was when I met the lovely singing and humming Doctor Emma Parsons. No probs she says, Xray taken and extraction advised. One hour later of painless procedure and out it was. Reassurance and promise of future support if required I walked out of CDC a very happy camper.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is a life long fear of mine, and I was so scared getting my crown and other work done but Dr Emma was so kind, patient and gentle. Never been to a better dentist!

Negative experience: Staff absolutely horrible and mean

Negative experience: First and foremost, Dr Richard demonstrated a shocking lack of understanding when it came to disabilities. My sister has a condition that impacts her skeletal system (involving her jaw), we expected a basic level of education from a senior dentist. Instead, we were met with insensitivity and ignorance. It's disheartening to encounter healthcare professionals who are not equipped to handle diverse patient needs. Moreover, the bedside manner of Dr Richard was utterly disappointing. There was a distinct lack of warmth and compassion throughout the entire appointment. What's more concerning is the use of intimidation tactics during the appointment. My sister felt pressured and belittled, as if her concerns were misunderstood. A visit to the dentist should not be a source of anxiety or fear, yet that was precisely the atmosphere created. My sister was left in tears being told that her teeth will fall out. This was entirely uneducated and unprofessional to tell this to a distressed young woman. After seeking a second opinion, it was revealed that Dr Richard was inappropriately exaggerating. She does not have ANY symptoms leading to loss of teeth and her oral health is expected for her disability and history with braces. The new dentist had the decency to research and investigate my sister's disability to provide INFORMED CARE. This whole experience has been stressful and disappointing. Our family has been going to this clinic for 10+ years and we will not be returning again.

Fantastic experience: Dr Claire Parsons is without doubt the most professional, caring, thorough and gentle dentist I’ve ever been to. Claire made my experience of getting an array of fillings and then going through the process of measuring and fitting my invisiline completely stress free, relaxed and utterly painless. I was absolutely thrilled with the final results. After years of crooked teeth and the associated problems with proper hygiene my teeth have never felt, or looked, better. I can’t recommend Dr Claire, and Coastal Dental Centre, more highly.

Negative experience: If I could rate any lower than this I would. I have seen 2 different dentists at this practice in the last week. Firstly had a clean and checkup where as expected everything was a bit sensitive but then my gum around the wisdom tooth was getting progressively worse and sore as the days went on. I’ve gone in today for an emergent appointment to have the male dentist syringe mouthwash into the gum and send me on my way. I was in excruciating pain and felt like I wasn’t listened to and told it would get better in 2 days time. I have then gone to a different dentist where they have found an infection and a hole in the wisdom tooth that was causing the pain. I can’t believe 2 different dentists saw me at Kingscliff and this has gone undiagnosed and sent off in excruciating pain, charged for the consult and my concerns dismissed… I will not be going back and certainly not be having my family attend this practice any longer.

Negative experience: Front desk staff were lovely. Although male dentist who took out my wisdom teeth was so rude and had a horrible bedside manner. I was so distressed and was not at all kind.

Fantastic experience: Dr Emma Palmer & Dr Richard Kneebone - excellent dentists, Knowledgeable, professional, great client care, and latest technology. Seven years now from cleaning to crowns to my latest big wisdom tooth removal. Great job Emma.

Fantastic experience: Fast efficient and friendly and today was pain free! Normally at some stage I’d feel like drowning with liquid not effectively being sucked out of my mouth but today it was like there was no liquid in there at all! The dolphins playing on the video was helpful too. Happy Chappy.

I was very anxious about the appointment and the procedure, but Dr. Lima and his staff were very patient and explained the procedure to calm my nerves down. The staff was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr Lima is an excellent dentist. He took the time to explain every procedure he was doing and very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. He is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality. Fantastic experience: I’ve had problems for years with my front teeth and previous poor quality dental work causing decay and chipped teeth. After seeing Julie for the first time she came up with a plan to rectify everything. Each consecutive visit she made sure I was aware of what was happening and explained the process with me. Fantastic experience: Having cracked an old filling which fell out early morning, I rang Coastal Dental Care hoping I could at the least get some advice. Instead I was given an emergency appointment at 11.00am on the same day, seen to in a very welcoming and professional manner, had a new crown sized, colour matched and fitted on my return appointment a few hours later. Fitting crowns can take up to 2 weeks, along with the horrible moulds used that are very uncomfortable, none of that here, which was amazing to me and extremely convenient. Coastal Dental Care has the technology on site to produce crowns, have them fitted within hours not weeks. The costs was reasonable as well. Thank you Dr Kneebone and the staff at Coastal Dental Care who had my situation turn around happily and very quickly.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to this clinic left me amazed with everything, the receptionists were so nice and polite. Dr John Hendry is so kind and caring but the most amazing thing in my opinion is that he listens to everything that you have to say and he discusses all his plans with you. Positive experience: I have been coming to Coastal Dental Care since I was five (35 years ago) when it was run by Vince Briggs. I now live several towns removed from Kingscliff but it is worth making the appointment because I trust Sonia. I feel very relaxed in the chair when she works on my teeth, and after experiencing the public dental system, I know I have made the right choice in seeing her.
