Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at D Spa South Yarra since earlier this year, and I’ve been so impressed with the service and the quality of care. Dr Badr (my dentist), Roksy (my hygienist), and Taryn at the front desk are absolutely fantastic — professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. They’re the ones I deal with most often, but I know the rest of the team are just as great, as my family have had wonderful experiences with them too. I’ll admit I’m very particular (some might say anal!) about my tooth care, and it’s such a relief to find a dental practice that meets my high standards. The team are thorough, gentle, and never try to upsell unnecessary treatments, unlike some other places I’ve been to in the past. D Spa South Yarra has completely earned my trust and recommendation. If you’re looking for a dental practice that combines professionalism with genuine care, this is the one.

Positive experience: I have previously gone here as I have Bupa dental cover and they were a Members First Ultimate partner, with no gap/out of pocket fees for two visits a year. I made this appointment when I went there in January this year and did not pay. Upon leaving yesterday I had to pay 50%, which for my 4yo son and I came to over $200. They told me to check my cover level, but upon more questioning they have reduced their partnership level with BUPA and so I now am only covered for 50% with them. This is very disappointing as they never informed me in the 4 appointment reminders that this had changed and there would be this high out of pocket charge. If I had been informed, I would have booked into a different dentist that is BUPA Members First Ultimate partner.

Fantastic experience: Dr John is simply amazing, his attention to detail & Perfectionism Is Exactly what you want in a Surgical dentist. His nurses are equally fantastic, Knowledgeable & Had me Entertained. Even the lovely reception staff are legends, Making me feel like I’ve walked into a luxury hotel. These guys are the benchmark for what all dental clinics should strive to achieve

Fantastic experience: Dr John and the staff has been super amazing! I had a bad experience with my wisdom tooth removal prior at a different place and was pretty concerned to remove my other wisdom teeth. But Dr John has made it with minimum pain and superior technique finishing the extraction in no time. They were all healed well after a week time following their instructions. Thank you to John and all the staff at D-Spa.

Fantastic experience: Joseph provided quality service and care throughout my root canal procedure. He, along with his staff, were welcoming and provided a relaxed environment, making the appointment much less daunting than what it could be. The friendly receptionist staff have followed up with me after procedures, however because of the great care I initially received I haven’t had to report any issues to them. The price was much more affordable than other practices.

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of going to D Spa last week for a check up and deep clean, as well as an assessment and future plan of my dental needs. To say I was impressed would not do it justice. Upon walking in I immediately felt at ease. The front foyer was clean and inviting. Walking up the steps I was greeted by very friendly front staff. They were professional and caring. The wait was short as we were promptly seen on time. The girls that did our deep clean were incredible. I’ve never met someone so passionate about teeth and the need to want to help you. Elle sat down and explained the whole process and did a job that I thought was impossible. Throughout the whole process Elle and Kat were explaining what they were doing. The end result was whiter teeth that I thought was possible thank you Elle and Kat you were amazing! Then I had the pleasure of meeting John. He was to give us a plan going forward with future dental care and sadly some extractions and fillings for me. John put me at ease straight away. His professionalism came through. He explained things in plain English and in way that just made sense and reason. He was gentle and explained every step of the way so I knew what to expect. Thank you John . Because of you and your team I’m on my way to feel confident again with my teeth and knowing in a few months, I can smile again without feeling uncomfortable about the shape and lack of back teeth. I’m looking forward to coming back and that is something I have NEVER said about any dentist. My past experiences with dentists have been the cause of the demise of my teeth but I’m happy to say. Dentist Joe is the brains behind the team - which includes the wonderful dental hygienist, Romeny. She is so gentle, but thorough. The South Yarra rooms are a relaxing space where you may be greeted warmly by receptionists Shelby and Taryn and others.

Fantastic experience: From Cat at the front desk to Chelsea and Renee, I cannot speak highly enough of everyone at D Spa. Cat's lovely and warm greeting relaxes the patients, and Chelsea and Renee blew us away with their kindness and incredible care today. Chelsea and Renee made my 3-year-old and 8-year-old feel so comfortable that they both jumped up in the chair with huge smiles, and they loved every moment of their visit. I was in agonizing pain all night and called the next morning and they squeezed me in for an appointment and diagnosed the issue. The following day, they made time for a last minute appointment to fix the issue. Dr. Hilary and Dr. Chelsea are the most kind and caring dentists I have ever had in my life. Throughout the visits, they went above and beyond to explain everything to me and make sure I was comfortable. Everyone that works at the practice is invested in their patients having a great experience. The office is spotless and beautiful. From check in to check out, they have really been intentional about the patient experience. So blessed my family is cared for by this exceptional team. We highly recommend them to all our friends.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this practice highly enough! I have dental anxiety so it was incredibly refreshing to visit a clinic that specifically works to combat this anxiety. The premise was beautiful and didn’t feel like a dental office at all, everything was nice and relaxing. The staff were so kind and helpful and I felt very comfortable throughout my entire time here. My practitioner Paris was an absolute delight, very thorough and knowledgeable, and kept me feeling relaxed the entire time. As someone who experiences sensory difficulties I highly recommend D-spa for anyone who experiences the same.

Daniel Ang is a patient and thorough dentist and, when I had a slight issue with a product, Melanee at reception went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and timely fix. Can’t recommend this clinic highly enough.

Negative experience: Booked an emergency appointment for 9 am on a Tuesday. No apology and not considerate of patient’s time. Waited for over 15 mins. Time to move on to a different practice.

I’ve been doing my Invisalign treatment with him and have had fantastic results. The practice and staff are always polite and helpful. The practice is spacious and well fit out. Negative experience: Don’t go there. They charged unreasonable: in the initial treatment, the dentist assistant started to clean my teeth under the obvious lack of time. Finally, she only did 3 teeth but charged me the full cost. Then, she told me that I had to come back to finish it in the next time and I need to pay the cleaning fees again. I called them to discuss this issue but nobody call back. The dentist assistant called me today to ask me about second appointment thing, I ask her again about the fee, she replied:” I don’t want to discuss it with you.” So rude!!!!

From Receptionists to the Hygienists to the Dentists, everyone is very caring and extremely gentle. The new surgery is beautiful and all of the state of the art equipment helps make a visit a breeze. They’re also affiliated with my Health Fund meaning it doesn’t hurt my hip pocket either. I can confidently recommend giving them a try. You won’t regret it!

Still, I’ve booked my next appointment as the experience was overall great.

Fantastic experience: D-spa is not usual dentist it a modern and they dentist should they use state of art equipment they take photos of the front and back of teeth and gums and x rays at your first visit the people working there are incredibly friendly and it doesn’t feel like your at torture chamber it’s more like a space ship and compared to other dentist I’ve been to it make the other dentist seem like are from the dark ages I had to fillings put and came back for two cleans and it was painless and easy and am happy to call D-spa my new dentist and the kit they give to take home is great and I use it a lot and will be back to get more of there environment friendly products can’t say more about how happy I was the experience at D-spa thank and see you next time :)
