Fantastic experience: Thank you so much Misa and all the lovely staff at Deontology Aspendale for looking after my husband and myself. It was always dreadful going to the(other) dentists but Misa really made us feel at ease. She was amazing with our 2 kids as well! We really appreciate everything and will be back!

Negative experience: Receptionist extremely verbally abusive, the dentist was professional but me having autism felt he could book the appointment on my behalf not me. Great dentistry for the community, not a good dentist for autistic or disability patients.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist for years, decided to book in at Dentology. It was a positive experience from the start. I found the staff warm and professional. Dr Oliver Baselyous is a wonderful dentist and a great guy. My neglected teeth needed a lot of work. Olivia designed a treatment plan and explained the steps to achieve a great smile. Have now finished the plan and my teeth look fantastic. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Olivia and the team at Dentology.

Fantastic experience: I am very particular about my dental care. Having previously worked at a Dental Practise, and having poor experiences at other clinics... It had taken me a bit of time to feel comfortable with proceeding with dental treatment and i had let it slip during two subsequent pregnancies. After one appointment with Dr Oliver I instantly felt comfortable. Not only does he have a lovely manner, but is friendly, knowledgeable, and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. He is also lovely to the nurses who assist him and has nice manners. Dr Oliver is the only Dentist I have let proceed with a dental crown, which I've been recommended for years. A credit to the practise and I will easily recommend to all of my friends and family. Thank you for your wonderful care and treatment. Also, all the reception staff are great and customer service is fantastic. So easy to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I had a baby tooth that’s been giving me trouble for months and Dr Abdelmalek suggested I remove it and get an implant. I wish I had come to him sooner! The whole implant process was so smooth and at a great price. Now I’m pain free and can enjoy all my food again. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Joe came highly recommended to help with our 8 year old daughter needing a tooth extraction and has high anxiety, this was our last attempt before a suggested sedation by others. Joe successfully removed the tooth managing to get our daughter to relax and trust him and his words enough that she had no idea the tooth had been removed! Amazing manner, style and knowledge. More than happy to continue travelling to see Joe and will also highly recommend to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Joe Hanna enough! I have seen at least 20 different dentists in my lifetime and with sensitive gums and teeth it caused all kinds of anxiety and pain from just a simple clean, even with the application of topical anaesthetic prior. By chance I got an appointment with Joe and haven’t looked back since. He takes extra care when cleaning and ensures that the most comfortable method is employed even if it takes longer to implement. He goes above and beyond by spending time highlighting the root cause(s) of the sensitivity and recommends easy to implement dental hygiene strategies. Not only has my sensitivity now disappeared by implementing Joe’s advice, I also no longer dread the dentist. I would not go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: We are so happy with the dental plan and treatment Chris has done for our daughter. Straightened teeth and no extractions

Negative experience: Both kids went through the ‘no brace’ treatment with success (although both kids ended up with braces which was a bit weird) These guys were always friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. Made them the family dentist but saw true colours when things went wrong with my front tooth veneer coming off. Dentist would not return calls despite ringing numerous times to discuss best plan to work around them only being in Bendigo 1 day a week. Really disappointed after spending many thousands of dollars with them to be left walking around without my front tooth and being ignored. To be fair the original work on my front tooth many years ago was not done by Dentology Dental Care, they just did the poor rush job of putting it back on which only lasted 3 days. I understand that things don’t always go smoothly but a business is truly tested in these situations as to how they are handled and how quickly the problems are resolved. Big fail here from Dentology Dental Care, so much so that after all the years we have had treatment with the kids and the perceived relationship we built with Chris, none of us are going back. It even makes us second guess how the kids teeth would have worked out if we had just left them alone.

Fantastic experience: I had my bottom veneers put in here. The service and staff were great! I am so happy with my veneers they look amazing! Would recommend Dentology to anyone looking to get work done!

Fantastic experience: I am more nervous about dentists than I care to admit and so have avoided going for a fair while. A friend frightened me with a story of how if I leave my teeth, the treatment could be way scarier than a clean and filling and so forced myself to go. I chose Dentology as they are amazing with my kids (from eldest childs first visit and getting youngest child used to their friendly faces from a very young age to my eldests plates - amazing service) Today I saw David Abdelmalek. He and his assistant (sorry I didn’t get her name) put me at ease immediately, kept me informed and listened to me. They picked up on my anxiety and were great. Super gentle and a great experience. Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr David Abdelmalek this afternoon and I can't recommend him enough! Not only is he very skilled and experienced, but he is also really friendly which made me feel comfortable and at ease during my visit. One thing that really stands out to me is how focused he was during my treatment. He never seems distracted by any background noise or interruptions, which really allowed me to relax and trust that I'm getting the best possible care. Fantastic experience: I was experiencing excruciating pain due to some issues with my wisdom teeth. Although they were very busy, Dr David saw me and was able to remove my wisdom tooth in no time! I’ve always been afraid of going to dentists, as I’ve had some bad experiences in the past; but my goodness, what a difference Dr David has made! He was very professional and explained what needed to be done. Throughout the procedure, he often asked if I was feeling okay and constantly checked to make sure I was very comfortable. Responsible for my sudden urge to take up novel writing, none other than Dr David Abdel-Malek. For the sake of this review I’ll resist my urge, and summarise. The perfect cocktail of professionalism, craftsmanship, tranquility and lightheartedness; Dr David’s honesty and communication put me right at ease, empowering me to take charge of my own dental journey. He so successfully bridges the divide between the professional and the patient, a true scarcity in today’s fast pace medical world. When you find a mechanic you can trust to work on your car with diligence and honesty, you end up with a mechanic for life. When you find all of that and more in a dentist like Dr David Abdel-Malek, you don’t only have a dentist for life, but a friend for life.

Fantastic experience: We saw Joe and the team at Dentology yesterday and the entire experience was incredible. Joe was so calm and amazing with the kids, he was able to create a connection with them and still be firm about what was needed. I loved his assessment and teaching approach. We’ve had a few difficult dental appointments over the past year with no clear next steps from any other dentist. Joe was clear, direct, fun and engaging. Fantastic experience: I took my kids to Dentology today for a checkup and clean. Our dentist was joe ( Joseph) Not only was he great at his job, he also gave me and the kids great advice and tips on how to look after their teeth. My daughter was so nervous, but joe absolutely changed her mindset on going to the dentist. He made it fun and playful, and gave her a job as his assistant! The patience and care that he showed towards my kids is a massive credit to dentology. Highly recommend joe.( especially for the kiddies) Thanks dentology and joe ⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I went to Dentology recently for a checkup after putting it off for far too long. The whole experience was great. The staff at the front were lovely and Dr David Abdelmalek was incredibly professional! He involved me in the care and I felt part of the decision making for my own health which I have not experienced with other dentists before. Fantastic experience: We have been coming here for a little while now and we have been really happy with everyone we have seen. Today I took our two 4 year old's to visit Joe and I must say that it was one of the most positive dental experiences I have ever had. He instantly put them both at ease. Joe had names for the dental tools he was going to use to make them seem less daunting, let them hold and feel them, move the chair up and down and so on. He really took the time to care about their overall experience to ensure they would want to come again in the future! I am so glad we were booked in to see him. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dentology by Cosmedismile for cosmetic work. The team at Dentology were fantastic. I was looked after by Dr. David Abdel-Malek and Svetsy. They provided me with a new smile that I love! They were patient and took the time to answer all my questions and helped in choosing the right white for my teeth- its wasn't easy! I highly recommend them if you looking for cosmetic work.

Fantastic experience: When I have been to other dentists in the past I got the same feeling as when I’m driving and there’s a cop car behind me; I haven't done anything wrong, but I feel incredibly guilty and tense. You need to floss, how many times a day do you brush blah blah blah… not with Dr Dave though, no guilt, no questions asked, no judgement just a friendly conversation and very thorough clean while still remaining very gentle. Also got my free toothpaste and toothbrush which is always a bonus. Highly recommend Dr David

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience!!! A dental clinic that cares about their patients!!! My husband and I have just moved to the area 6 weeks ago and I contacted Dentology Dental Clinic in Aspendale as I thought I needed a filling. I was pretty lucky to get in very early morning the next day. I turned up, reception ladies were lovely, I completed a new patient application on an iPad which was pretty quick and not long after that I was called in to see Joe and his lovely assistant. My nerves had already kicked in walking down the corridor but Joe was so cool and put my mind at ease fairly quickly. I was greeted with a warm friendly smile, and what I thought was going to be another traumatizing experience, turned out to be the complete opposite! You can tell Joe works a lot with children as he is very patient and he explains things so thoroughly! As the cleaning process started, my anxiety kicked in to 200% but Joe reassured me that he had a technique that would put me at ease and sure enough, I was pleasantly surprised! If your worried about deep cleaning and the pain that can come with it, you will have to book in and see Joe to experience this amazing technique! Thank you Joe for being so gentle and for helping me calm my nerves today...I'm definitely coming back for my next clean...never thought I would say that but I'm so happy I found a dentist that makes me feel comfortable and knows his craft! He is very professional and patient, gentle yet thorough in his work and although most people find the dental experience uncomfortable, he creates a relaxed environment for his patient, easing the tension with humour. Needless to say, my toddler had a wonderful first-experience at the dentist with dr david, sitting in the dental chair wearing the cool glasses and actually let Dr David look at his new teeth! Fantastic experience: Having moved just over a year ago I was nervous about finding a new dentist that’s right for me. I am so happy today with my new dentist Joe Hanna. Fantastic experience: I had the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentists when I came to Dentology. Usually it’s a nerve racking experience for me to attend a dentist appointment but from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and warmth until the moment I left. I’ve seen Joseph twice now and I have to say his service is absolutely impeccable! He is so lovely, comforting and funny! The staff are clearly very well educated and the clinic is so clean and hygienic. I surprisingly did not feel nervous once! I was distracted by the good jokes, music and wonderful views of the ocean. I’ve never been so confident with my teeth!! I can’t stop smiling. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Our son had his first dental visit with Dr Joe Hanna and had a wonderful experience. Dr Hanna was patient and caring and took the time to ensure our toddler was happy during the experience. His manner is friendly and reassuring which meant our son felt settled through the whole process. Would highly recommend!

I had an appointment with Joseph today and the time and care he took to ensure I knew exactly what was happening in my treatment and making sure i'm comfortable with the experience meant so much to me. Never seen this kind of attention to detail from a dentist before! Glad to say I was more than pleased with the experience and Joseph and the clinic have another patient for life!

Fantastic experience: I do not like going to dentists at all after being overcharged, messed around and given wrong information. My Gp needed me to see a dentist and I have been seeing Joseph at another clinic ever since. He is very professional, honest and caring towards myself and my daughter and he goes above and beyond to make sure that our dental needs are met and we also have great banter which has helped me immensely to be able to trust someone enough to go to a dentist again As soon as I found out he was leaving I am now seeing him at his new clinic. When you find a great dentist stick with them, they are rare!

Fantastic experience: I just came out from Dentology then after getting a filling. I'm a very nervous person regarding the dentist, and just had the best dental experience with Dr.Chris. He was extremely friendly and talked me through the process taking away any stress. Very calming manner while in the chair, I almost fell asleep! The people at the front desk, and the dental assistant were also super friendly. After visiting many dentists over the years, this was definitely my best experience, and this place will definitely be my regular dentist from now on. Highly recommended! Regards Shane

Fantastic experience: What a pleasure it was to attend the Aspendale Dentology Dental Care. Over the last 2 weeks I have had disappointing experiences at 2 other Dental surgeries in the Chelsea area being giving wrong advice and charged for consultations with no actual results. Finally I attended Dentology Dental Care and what a relief. Professional care and prompt service to help with my pain. Not only did the Lady recommend that I dont have two teeth removed she asked why and who said I did. One hour later I was fixed up, pain free and my nerves completely gone about visiting the Dentist. Thanks to Dr Jamaluddin you are a legend. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My fears were immediately put to rest with a very professional, caring and affordable plan and I actually looked forward to my visits.!! Smiling dental nurses who make you feel calm and ready for treatment Then Dr Meena who always has a solution to any problem. Approaching any problem with a great professionalism and a beautiful kind heart. Dr Meena's approach to treatment is simply superb. She has such a holistic approach that makes anxious patients like myself feeling so calm and contented. I am so grateful. Today is Tuesday 17th December 2019, 7 months after the above review. Another visit to Dr Meena and again leaving very satisfied and extremely impressed. The fact that she dealt with me "the patient" as a whole not only focussing on the one tooth that needed a filling, is very impressive. The fact that she remembered that I had trouble with my back that needed certain adjustment to the chair to make me comfortable throughout the treatment. is very impressive. The fact that after the treatment she spent time to make sure I am OK and to explain issues related to my teeth, is very impressive. Once more, I am very grateful.

After experiencing some light trauma regarding a football incident that resulted in my 2 front teeth knocked out, thank god I had Rob Harwood and Dr Chris Zayed down at Dentology Dental Care. They were so comforting and reassuring that they would achieve the results I was so desperately needing. Fantastic experience: I couldn’t rate Dentology Dental Care high enough. I’m very squeamish about seeing a dentist, but I felt cared for and safe the moment I arrived. Dr Zayed was very kind and explained each step he was taking - which set my mind at ease. I’ve noticed they do injectables, I might get up the courage to try this too. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: After holding off visiting the dentist for a number of years I visited Dentology Dental Care. I had previously taken my 4 year old daughter here for her first ever dental appointment and was impressed with how she was treated and her overall experience. I cannot speak more highly of my personal experience. As you can imagine my teeth did need some work. On my first visit I spoke with my dentist Dr Zayed. He walked me through the condition of my teeth, asked me what my overall goal was for my teeth such as the look etc and worked with me to create a treatment plan. I have since been back 3 times to realise this treatment plan. Each visit my initial impressions of the practice's professionalism, care and dedication to my treatment was reinforced. With regard to the practice itself it is new, clean and comfortable. It is easy to get to and has ample parking out the front and on the side streets. The practice staff are great, helping you get the best appointments as well as reminding you of up-coming appointments etc. Based on my experience and value for money I think I have found my dentist! I would highly recommend Dentology Dental Care.
