Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience at Bupa Dental Broadway. Even having switched insurance to Medibank, I wouldn’t consider going elsewhere. The dentist is fantastic and genuinely caring. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The facilities are spotless, and I’ve never had to wait long to see the clinician. Overall, every visit is smooth, comfortable, and consistently enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: A huge shout out to the staff at Bupa Broadway, they are so caring and attentive, the reception staff go above and beyond, the dental assistants are fabulous and Dr Wark is an amazing dentist! Fantastic experience: Dr Brandon Wong was an exceptionally patient and considerate dentist. I had a root canal treatment which was a bit troublesome but he was tolerant and persisted in helping despite how difficult and long the procedure turned out to be.
Fantastic experience: The best dentists and practice in the city. From the reception to the dental assistants, they truly care for their patients. I am an anxious patient and have had previous bad experiences from a different practice, the warmth and care everyone has given me in every visit me means so much.
Negative experience: This practice does not follow through with referrals. Unless you commit to spending 10's of thousands of dollars, these creeps will ghost you just when you need them. Be warned !

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Brandon Wong from Bupa Dental Broadway for a few years, for mostly 6months cleans, retainer wire maintenance and fillings. Dr Wong has always been thorough, and the couple of times he filled my front teeth from chips, extra care were taken as the front teeth are very visible/obvious and I have been extremely happy with the results. I have also seen several other drs at the clinic for fillings and wisdom tooth removal. All staff including receptionists, dental assistants and drs have been very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Wong was awesome and made the dentist feel like less of a hassle. Very polite guy! Ladies at front desk were very nice and welcoming, and also helpful with the situation. Nice to have good caregivers

Fantastic experience: Dr. Richard was exceptional! I came in for a tooth repair and was blown away by his skill — it was the most pain-free and comfortable procedure I’ve ever had. As someone who gets extremely anxious at the dentist, this was hands down the best dental experience I’ve had. The receptionist was also incredibly kind and professional, which made the whole visit even better. I now know exactly where I’ll be going for any future tooth-related issues!

Negative experience: Bupa Dental Broadway has been my go-to clinic for several years, and I genuinely appreciate the care I’ve received—especially from my dentist, who is kind, knowledgeable, and excellent at what he does. It took me some time to decide to share this feedback, as I’ve had a long-standing relationship with the clinic. However, I’ve recently experienced ongoing challenges that have made it difficult to continue as a patient. Over the past few visits, my appointments have been cancelled—sometimes more than once—even though I had booked well in advance. Most recently, after two cancelled appointments, I attended a third booking only to wait over 35 minutes. Despite reassurances from the dental assistant, I had other commitments and couldn’t stay any longer. I don’t consider myself difficult, but in that moment, I felt as though my time wasn’t valued—and I left feeling quite disappointed. I didn't even receive an apology or acknowledgement or a call back, which disappointed me even more as a loyal customer. While most of the reception staff are kind and professional, there have also been several instances where service codes were not correctly entered. This led to billing issues and unexpected out-of-pocket costs for me. At times, I’ve also encountered staff who were dismissive or argumentative rather than listening to concerns, which was disheartening. This isn’t easy to share, as I had hoped to continue my care at the clinic, but based on my recent experiences, I don’t believe I’ll be returning.

Negative experience: I’ve been visiting this clinic for the last 1,5 years. Although I don’t have an issue with the dentists and find the dental services I’ve received adequate, the reception staff are mostly unhelpful and condescending. When my husband attended this clinic for the first time yesterday we discovered they had been billing my dental appointments to his cover instead of mine for the last year and a half, using the wrong suffix on our insurance card. This meant that my husband hasn’t been able to claim his visit from Bupa because of the mistake the reception team made. I understand mistakes can happen, but they haven’t been apologetic in the slightest and haven’t been helpful in trying to solve this. All they could say is contact Bupa and they will fix it. It took an hour to get through to Bupa, then a 45 minute call to try and get to the bottom of it. Bupa says the clinic can liaise with them directly, which the clinic has been unwilling to do. Now I need all my previous invoices from the clinic with my name and address on it to prove that I attended these appointment and not my husband, but they say they can only provide those invoices without my name and address because they have moved to a new filing system. How hard could it be to try and proactively work with a patient after YOU have made a mistake that is costing us a lot of money? How hard can it be to print old invoices on a different letter head and type my name and address on it? I find it unbelievable that a Bupa clinic making such a mess of things doesn’t want to directly liaise with Bupa to fix these issues and isn’t in the slightest bit proactive in working with their patients to try and solve this. I’m very disappointed in their lack of care.

Negative experience: Complete disregard of people’s time and effort. Cancelling appointments, made months in advance, at the drop of a hat and at the busiest time of the year. Regardless of the planning it takes to go through the major work they themselves recommend. Not to mention the exorbitant fees of the health fun and their own. Makes being part of the Bupa health fund completely worthless. If their “clinics” cannot be trusted to provide a decent service then Bupa is not a fund to trust. Luckily it’s the right season to look for better alternatives. Find a local dentist instead. Not to mention the completely unhelpful and condescending reception staff.

Fantastic experience: We have had check ups, teeth whitening, and my partner had 4 wisdom teeth removed in the chair at this clinic. The team at Bupa Broadway are friendly, professional, and considerate. In particular, Juanita makes us feel welcome and cared for, often going above and beyond to help us. We would recommend this dentist to our family.
Fantastic experience: Dr Richard Wark did an exceptional pain free repair and rebuild on a broken tooth that had been painful for sometime, he treated then repaired it-looks fantastic and feels great. Best dentist I’ve seen. Thankyou Dr Wark Thankyou to Dental nurse Izabella for being supportive and professional and helping me along.

Fantastic experience: I had left my regular dental clean for a bit too long and was feeling a bit of dread as I headed in for my appointment. Natalie was my hygienist and she was amazing and talking through what she would be doing and constantly checked in with me to make sure I was ok. As well as Natalie being amazing I found that the equipment and the processes were really top notch.
Fantastic experience: We’ve been going to the Bupa Broadway for years. It’s always been great service, well priced and a thorough job. 100% recommend.
Fantastic experience: Over the past few years I've had my regular checkups, all my wisdom teeth extracted and had a crown done by the team here and every experience has been great I liked the 3D scanner for the teeth since it was useful for the crown and splint. All of the staff are friendly and helpful; they're upfront if something will not be covered by my healthcare plan and they also schedule the next checkup when you leave (if you want that). If you go here you're in good hands!
Negative experience: Their app won't show any form of digital card and they will REQUIRE A CARD in any form. Good luck if you thought the app will do the job and so haven't brought a physical card. 1 Star for the terrible policy and unfunctional "digital card"

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for about 7 years and have seen a number of different dentists, all of them have been superb and tbh, the only reason I keep my Bupa membership is because of the team at this practice.
Fantastic experience: They helped me in an urgent case. Reception, nurse and dentist were all pleasant and efficient. The job was done perectly.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful caring and welcoming staff that take the fear out of going to the dentist. Very professional, beautifully maintained treatment rooms, super comfy dental chairs, a very pleasant experience overall! I travel from Wollongong to this practice in Broadway because I have complete confidence in their expertise and services.

Fantastic experience: Excellent professional service. Staff welcoming and accomodating. I had a root canal treatment and felt safe, comfortable and completely confident in the skill of the practitioner. The price was kept minimal for really the best of care. I could not recommend more highly. My only hesitation in posting this review was a fear that so many people would realise how good this practice is, potentially forcing me to wait in a queue for my next appointments! Genuinely, you can’t go wrong here.

Fantastic experience: As someone who is apprehensive about visiting the dentist, I have been treated by Dr Richard Wark at BUPA Dental, Broadway over the last 12 months. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is professional, knowledgeable and understanding and really listens to your specific needs and concerns. The dental assistants and the ladies on reception are similarly professional, helpful and understanding. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Great team at Broadway, all of the staff are friendly and welcoming and Dr Wark is very knowledgeable and professional. I switched dentists years ago and feel much more comfortable here. I always hated and put off going to the dentist but I find myself keeping up with check ups etc as the team do a good job of putting me at ease when I go in.

Negative experience: Hyper offered to sent me and partner who both on disability pension for a general clean and check up only to find out that it was not free on top of our premiums we were informed a $90 gap amount each had to be paid. That did not cover any fillings an extra $300 gap for 4 fillings had to be paid on my next visit and that was just for me !! God only knows how much gap my partner needed to pay as he needed fillings an an extraction. Paying my premiums with buppa each month and then having to pay out hundreds more when you get there is ridiculous and a joke and I will cancel my membership as soon as possible

Negative experience: Fairly average each time I’ve been in. Dentists try and up sell and haven’t been particularly friendly. Most recently I waited for 30 mins past my appointment time, so I left. Not even a follow up phone call to understand what had happened! Don’t waste your time.
Fantastic experience: All of the staffs are very friendly and professional. The place is very clean, all of the equipments are hygienic. Did my general check up, cleaning, fillings, and all 4 wisdom teeth removal and everything was nice and quick, currently still in a healing process of the teeth removal, but I think it’s no problem. Price wise is very good and since my insurance is Bupa, they can deduct it straight away so I don’t have to claim it myself. Recommended
Negative experience: Very bad service. I pay a lot of money for my dental plan and I couldn't have been treated worse by the receptionist today! I will go to another clinic immediately

Negative experience: Dissapointed with the Bupa Admin for putting a wrong billing to my partner's name (Twice). She replied my Email and said will fix it by next week. The other week I called, she said will do today. The next day, I followed up, I need to call Bupa instead. It's wasting time and frustrating!! Now I need to wait to get things done all over again to Bupa.

Fantastic experience: Been here a few times, every time the customer service from reception to dental assistants and dentists have been great.
Negative experience: I had a really bad experience at this clinic and will not recommend anyone going there. The receptionist was friendly and everything was done well until the actual appointment. I was sent to do a 3D scan of my teeth during which my hair tie got stuck in the machine which was not only unpleasant, but also made me move A LOT when I was asked to stand still. Not sure how the scan was any good, but the doctor did not want do another one. I then was given a mouth mount that was too large for me and nearly made me vomit as it was pressing too far at the back of my throat. With huge discomfort I managed to endure it and the doctor (not sure) proceeded to with the checkup, then straight to drilling without any prior consultation with me. It was painful and I twitched, however he did not notice (or pretended not to notice), and as I could not speak or close my mouth I had no chance to stop it. After this procedure, I noticed that the enamel in contact areas of my teeth was gone and I felt nerve pain with taking a breathe due to the coolness of the air. I honestly feel like seeking compensation for the damage done to my teeth - photo attached. I’ve never had any issues with my teeth prior to this. Thanks to that free check up I now have sensitive teeth and am afraid to see an Australian dentist…

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful dental surgery with empathetic dentists, dental nurses and receptionists. Like many, I loathe visiting the dentist, but these guys make it a lot less stressful. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Negative experience: The front desk lady named Unita is extremely rude and unprofessional. She hang up on me during the conversation. I have never met any provider who is this rude in Sydney. Please hire better staff.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Scott Church is knowledgeable and helped me with these white spots on my teeth that until I met Scott, dentists said the only fix was veneers. They look amazing and I'm super happy!
Fantastic experience: Came here for a general checkup and cleaning. They ran on time and the team works efficiently. Appointment was a day after a night out so was feeling quite fragile but luckily Dr. Scott (he's a g) worked his magic and even did fillings in a jiffy whilst explaining everything. Received solid recommendations and had a good experience at this practice.
Negative experience: Go here if you want to have bill shock, every time. They are dishonest daylight thieves. Their prices seem to jump every time, and they don't honour their quoted prices. Compared to other dental practices I've been to, they are extremely greedy and dishonest with their billing. Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience. Dr Amelia Judson was incredible. Very personable, explained everything thoroughly in a way I would understand and provided thoughtful recommendations for my future teeth needs without being pushy. Would recommend to anyone. Reception staff were also incredibly helpful and fitted me in last minute.

Positive experience: Been going for 2 years, general visits are free/ uncapped because of my BUPA insurance. Never had a booking issue, staff are lovely - Jacinta in reception & Dr Richard spring to mind. Recently fit me in same day when I was concerned about my post op recovery. Dr Amelia (I think that was her name) is the best hygienist - incredibly thorough. I recommend giving these guys a try - especially if you have BUPA Extras cover.
Fantastic experience: Came here for a general checkup and cleaning. The team is really friendly and helpful, patiently explaining each procedure performed. A huge shoutout to the hygienist, Natalie for being so detailed and cleaning my teeth so thoroughly. Highly recommend this clinic!

Fantastic experience: My experience here was excellent. The interior of the place is very modern, clean and well laid out. The receptionist was very friendly and was able to assist me well. Dr Scott is an excellent dentist and was very understanding and patient with my budget. The dental nurse was also very friendly and made my experience very comfortable. I would 100% recommend this dental place to anyone looking for a professional, affordable and friendly experience.

Fantastic experience: I was reluctant to go because of covid so I rang and the receptionist was very nice and reassured me that all is covid safe so I decided to go. Hygienist (Adriana lee) and Dentist were excellent.
Fantastic experience: The dentist was extremely professional, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issues and options available to me regarding my painful toothache and potential root canal therapy. I had gone to another dentist and practice across town the week before who was going to do root canal therapy. The Bupa dental diagnosis was spot on and the dentist fixed my issues in the first visit! This was my first visit to this dental practice and I'm definitely going to make this my ongoing dentist. I'm now pain free and didn't have to go down the route of root canal therapy, happy days.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Scott Church is a truly gifted dentist Prior to walking through the doors of Broadway Bupa Dental my mouth resembled a mining site. Broadway Bupa Dental is a great place to go to take care of your teeth, very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. I had to get two complicated root canals, the professionalism of the whole team was outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with the results Dr. Scott Church is an expert in is field.
Fantastic experience: Everyone there was very professional and friendly. The treatment and payment process was painless and efficient.
Negative experience: DO NOT RECOMMEND, they sent me an appointment reminder twice to confirm my booking date & time beforehand so went there a bit early on the day. But had to wait for 35mins... furthermore, a treatment wasn't done properly and finished within 11mins. I booked for a hygienist but they changed it without telling me anything. Never go back again.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Bupa Dental Broadway for a few years now. The reason I keep going back is because of the excellent client services and because of Dr Church.
Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to a dentist for 18 years so you can imagine I wasn't ecstatic about finally having to go. The dentist and his assistant were just amazing. Surprisingly I only had to have three fillings and an extraction and they did the entire thing pain free in a single session. Heavily recommend you go here. Also BUPA made it really affordable.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff were so welcoming and comforting and so incredibly helpful. Dr Church was fantastic and put my mind at ease as I needed two wisdom teeth and a molar removed. He was very quick and it was painless. Dr Church has ridded me of my fear of visiting the dentist, I could not recommend them more! Thank you!
Fantastic experience: I was amazed how helpful and friendly everyone was. The dentist, Scott went to great detail into how to best look after my teeth. When he discovered that I needed a small filling, he was so apologetic that it was not covered by BUPA in this visit. In the end, it was only an additional $56.00. Excellent service from the reception desk through to the chair-side assistant.

Fantastic experience: I have to say, my experience(s) at Bupa Dental Broadway have been NOTHING but stellar! From check in, to dealing with the office manager (just general chit chat, SO friendly!) and ultimately with Dr Scott Church, I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thankfully I don’t have to go to the dentist often (I’ve always been afraid), but Dr Church has always made me feel comfortable, putting me at ease, cracking jokes etc. he’s amazing (ask for him by name when booking if you can). Thank you Bupa, you’ve transformed me from fearful to happy, about going to the dentist! I’m not sure what’s everyone else is chattering on about, maybe Uni students who aren’t familiar with Australian dentists, this place is awesome!
Negative experience: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !! , this place is so disorganised , they change appointments , then cancel them , dont call back , you have no confidence even when they say you have a booking. the reception booking staff are unprofessional , unknowledgeable and dysfunctional . Just embarrassing for BUPA Health. Read the other reviews all the same , im worried about the person who cant feel their mouth after having wisdom teeth out !!

Negative experience: Be sure to be on your game when it comes to bupa dental Broadway. You will be talking they will have no idea because they won't even be listening you will make a booking they will get your number incorrect to confirm any appointments made when you constantly find yourself chasing them up they do not get back to you when they tell you they will. There is much more I could go on about but I think you already get the drift the reason for it being a 2.9 stands out. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend coming here . The prices vary so so much it feels dodgy. The receptionist did not tell me about the gap payment upfront , the wait was terrible , I think she forgotten me because when I asked how long do I have to wait she quickly ushered me in. See below for the huge price differences for the same subject title comparison (fluoride, calculus , oral examination)
Fantastic experience: Have been coming here for over a year now and had a great experience overall from beginning to end. I’ve had a couple of procedures so far this year and have a few more to come over the next couple of months with Dr Wark. I feel very safe in his hands and their team seem to work well together. Very clean place as expected at a dentil surgery!
Negative experience: I had my wisdom teeth out here over 3 months ago and I still have NO sensation in my mouth, the only thing I feel is pain in my tongue and my speech has been affected. I went for a follow up and was very casually told its common and sent home. I asked for a referral to a specialist and I never heard back. I knew when I was making the appointment and the receptionist tried to embarrass me for my sedation choice it was a mistake but I persevered because I needed my teeth out - big mistake. Go elsewhere!!!
Negative experience: OMG!!! This place is a nightmare, every time I would make an appointment to follow up the plan for my veneers I would find out my previous dentist is no longer working there, so I would see a new one who would give me a different speach, different quote, would find different problems to push on unnecessary expenses. Then reception team would tell me I am not covered for any of the treatments despite the fact I have Bupa extras for both general and major dental with a $1000 balance on it. When I would question that they told me to call Bupa because they don't know.....i mean what sort of customer service is that!?!?!? Never again!
Negative experience: They spend longer trying to sell you future work you don’t need than actually looking at your teeth. Avoid.
Negative experience: Worst dentist I never been in my life unprofessional stuff they wrong 2 times my retainer and the first time I been there the machine was broken I ask for refund they didn’t even pay me the full amount back

Fantastic experience: I had excellent service today at Bupa Dental Broadway after breaking a tooth on the weekend. My first impression of making the telephone booking was a great interaction, and the appointment went very well. As a somewhat nervous patient I was very appreciative of the professional, caring service and pleasant interactions.

Fantastic experience: i haven't seen a dentist for more than a year. The bupa dental experience was very good since all the staff were very knowledgeable and compassionate. my dentist was very thorough and provide me with great care ,i would definitely come back for checkup in six months
