My teeth were thoroughly checked with very up to date x-ray equipment. The dental clinic is modern and welcoming. Dr Hu’s calm demeanour certainly makes me feel very much at ease. The cost of the services was reasonable. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend River Dental highly enough, they deserve more than 5 stars! *Edited to Add the following: Dr Tia (mentioned below) has moved and is no longer in town - however I am now seeing Dr Shri; who is also wonderful to deal with, he makes sure I am comfortable before, during and after each procedure. I am extremely happy with every visit so far. I highly recommend seeing Dr Shri and I will happily be seeing him for all my future dental needs. He let's the appointments go at my own pace (wisdom teeth removals and a few fillings) and makes sure it is all as pain-free as possible. 10/10 to Dr Shri and his wonderful Dental Assistants who should not be forgotten about as both of the ladies who have assisted in my recent visits were excellent! River Dental should be proud of all of their team members, I have had nothing but positive interactions with every single dentist, front office coordinator and dental assistant I have dealt with in their practice (end of edit) * I see Dr Tia; who has done an amazing job fixing a seriously problematic tooth I had (she even managed to save my tooth!). Every single team member of River Dental who I encountered in my 4 recent visits have been wonderful! The atmosphere is very calming and not at all what I was used to when I walked onto a dentist clinic! The reception ladies are very friendly, professional and just generally wonderful to deal with. Every Dental Assistant who's assisted Dr Tia were also friendly and professional, they are clearly very knowledgeable and were a pleasure to deal with. And of course Dr Tia was exceptional at every appointment, she explained everything to me so I understood what was happening and why she needed to do certain things, she was so gentle I experienced virtually no discomfort during any of my visits, and I left with the best possible outcome - I was very comfortable with her and I have recommended her to all my family and friends! I'll definitely be a returning client 10/10 to Dr Tia and every member of the River Dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Went to river dental last week to get an impacted wisdom tooth extracted, Dr Frank and his assistant were great. Calm and professional making sure I was not in pain during the procedure, even got a little toy tooth to squeeze when I was anxious! Came back for a check up afterwards and again Dr Frank was great, helps my anxiety having such a great dentist.

Fantastic experience: I went to river dental in gympie yesterday to get my tooth removed, as soon as I walked in the reception lady (i dont know her Name) was very welcome and very kind. I had Archie as a dentist and Taylor as the lady that helps out(sorry if I pronounced your names wrong) and they were amazing towards me, so kind, reassuring, gentle and just overall brilliant… I have server anxiety and for someone who was moving a lot and terrified of needles and getting a tooth removed, they were helping me through it the whole time asking if I was okay, asking if I needed breaks, asked me questions, cracked jokes and had a bubbly welcoming vibe. Both very professional at their job and I definitely recommend Archie and Taylor (or any of the dentists) if you end up going to river dental. Amazing place

Fantastic experience: After Dr Nair moved to River Dental So did I, When it comes to a dentist you can trust to really look after you and be patient with a very caring attitude, I can say 100% Dr Nair is the best, now he is working with River Dental a very well setup professional surgery, there is no dentist within 100Km that even comes close. As a DVA patient I am 100% happy and loyal to DR Nair and River Dental. I also would like to say Dr Frank is a great dentist even though I have only seen him once for an emergency. Fantastic experience: What can someone say about Shri the dentist? He is charming, funny, caring and very good at what he does. River Dental, being affiliated with HCF meant that financially I was extremely happy at the outcome. River Dental also has cute waters of branded water.

Negative experience: Wouldn’t recommend, particularly if you’re on a voucher. Reception is so rude and judgemental it completely negates any good from the dentist in my opinion. If you can - go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to finally be going through the process of getting my smile back and that River Dental has flexible times to make it possible. My first visit was 3 years ago, with a voucher for emergency extraction, terrified with previous bad experience. Cathy gave me a warm welcome, Dr Frank had it out so quickly I cried and hugged him and knew then when I was back on my feet this is where I would put the time, effort and plan a path to restore my smile. Dr Frank has such a calming manner, I was so embarrassed about the state of my teeth and rather than reacting as I expected really helped me see that I could find my smile again and that he would be there. After medication caused dry mouth I had given up to a Point. An exposed root, mouth full of ‘work to be done’ and three years later, now back at work…. #watch this smile. Thank you so much

Both times I saw Dr. Frank and he would have to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is really gentle and does his best to make me feel comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are also very polite and always make you feel welcomed.

Fantastic experience: Just finished a yearlong treatment with Invisalign under the watchful eye of Dr Frank and the team. Couldn't recommend the service enough, due the the professionalism I have no worries travelling an hour up form the Coast!

Fantastic experience: ever since the good old days of rubber masks, tools of torture and masters of pain which were all associated with dentist trips my fear for the visits has not lessened in over 70 years. However, after visiting River Dental this week my fear has gone and it was such a good experience I actually hugged the Dentist. I had ten fillings in total, two large ones and others superficial I felt no pain and the drooling and runny nose feeling were gone in time for me to eat my tea with out pain or making a mess. Highly recommend this service and booked my next check up for six months. It is fair to say this was my first dentist visit in six years but from now on I go with a happy heart and a smile on the dial

Fantastic experience: Would have to say this place is by far the best practice I have EVER visited, from dentists in Brisbane, Noosa and now Gympie. The atmosphere of the waiting room provides such a tranquil and relaxing environment with the large windows and gardens to help calm any nerves. Admin staff are always 100% helpful and friendly. Dr Xiao Hu and his assistant are also warm and welcoming. Gentle work performed by both dentist and assistant, and Dr Hu communicates the whole process with you before, during and after treatment. The follow up the next day to check up on patient treatment is a nice person centered touch. Prices as expected for quality dentistry. I have been a couple of times and will be bringing the rest of the family here too! Keep it up River Dental. Extremely happy customer.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, deserves 6 stars. Had a de-scale and 2 difficult extractions because I am 70 years old and my teeth are a challenge to remove. The extractions were virtually painless. Best dentist I have ever been to. Rang me up the next day to check everything was OK.

Fantastic experience: I recently had dental treatment from River Dental, i had quite extensive damage to my teeth. I had seen two other dentists before hand one was very painful an i left in tears. The other made me feel uncomfortable about my teeth. Since having my first appointment i have never felt so welcome, i had 3 kids with me an no one really minded infact made the whole family feel comfortable and super welcome, my dental work was completely pain free an the work that was done has blown me away, I can not suggest a better dentist to go to.
