Negative experience: Completely devastated with my teeth and face. Now, I have had confidence issues ever since. The whole treatment felt rushed and no attention to care or detail was made. Every appointment it seemed like I was in the chair for 5 minutes and then told I was done. No time to ask questions or tell them what I was worried about. Even when I did try voicing my concerns and telling them what I wanted, I felt dismissed or brushed off. I had to get my teeth redone at a different orthodontist who said that the work I got was messy and unfinished. The receptionist with the brown hair also seems very annoyed every time I try to make an appointment or ask them for something. Everyone else there is nice but the environment is so rushed and chaotic that I don’t feel valued as a patient.

Negative experience: If only i could give 0 stars. Dr Paul and his team was supposed to be professional, at first i thought wow i am very happy with him and I'd like to proceed treatment for my son. He explained everything what needed to be done before braces. I told him I'd like to pay through super, he said yes that is fine, we do that payment option. They never got back to me about the forms to be completed, i have sent them 2 emails and they just ignored me. So i found even better and honest orthodontic in my area, these people actually want to help. I would never recommend anyone to Family Orthodontics. Such a shame that i even have to give 1 star.

Fantastic experience: The team there is very nice and helpful, always making sure appointments are on time. The space there is very clean and hygienic. My entire braces process was done very efficiently and carefully, no brackets or wires were ever broken. Definitely recommend. Dr Michelle Fong was excellent.

I’ve just had my braces taken off after just under two years, and I can genuinely say the entire experience has been nothing but smooth, positive, and professional from start to finish. From the very first consultation, the team went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, reassured, and confident that I was in the right hands. I was incredibly lucky to have Dr. Paul as my orthodontist, he made the entire journey feel so easy and stress-free. He always took the time to explain each step, answer any questions, and ensure I felt fully informed throughout the process. You can truly tell how much he and the whole team care about their patients—not just about achieving great results, but also making the experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. I used to think getting braces would be daunting and overwhelming (to be honest, I put it off for years while my siblings got treatment), but Family Orthodontics completely changed that for me. It was genuinely seamless, and now I absolutely love my teeth and smile! What’s even more telling is that I’m not the only one in my life who’s had such a great experience here, my partner and her family came to Family Orthodontics back when she was in high school, and I’ve had several friends who have either completed their treatment here or are currently in the process. Even one my younger siblings is now a patients here too! It just goes to show how trusted and well-loved this clinic is in our community. Thank you so much Paul and the entire team! Negative experience: Staff were friendly. However I felt I was scammed. Initial consult is free however Orthodontist wanted to do a mouth scan which costs $70 (which I was fully aware of) in order to provide a treatment plan for braces. Then in order to obtain the treatment plan it would cost another $70. This was not disclosed when I called the clinic asking about the process of braces. I have seen other Orthodontists and they did what they needed without any costs involved and provided a detailed treatment plan. Hence why I felt scammed. As they were not transparent with their costs and process, I decided not to continue with them due to loss of trust considering the journey of braces is at least 12 months. Please be aware of the process and costs with this clinic before commencing. I provided my feedback to the clinic to consider being more transparent of their process and associated costs for future patients. Hopefully they take this into consideration.

Negative experience: The front desk service is terrible, always rushing and giving so much attitude. The people who work there do not display good customer service which we should be provided. It is horrendous seeing them treat customers so poorly when they are simply trying to book their next appointment. People have schedules they need to work around yet the front desk workers get extremely annoyed whenever they ask for different date options. Even through the phone I constantly feel rushed and their tone vividly sounds annoyed as if they do not want to talk to me. It is understandable as some people may have bad days but I have seen this poor treatment numerous times. They do not even put in minimal effort to try be polite and it is unacceptable, especially if we are paying large sums of money for this service. I am extremely disappointed.

Positive experience: At first I was very nervous about getting braces as you hear that the process is very painful but i just took off my braces and I realised that throughout the process it was actually kind of painless. I wanted to add that all the team members were so friendly and helpful. Throughout the process they were very thoughtful and caring. Would ask me everytime if any of my brace wires were causing pain so they would re-cut it and or bend it. For front staff they are always so friendly even during the busiest times they would look at best times suited for me for my next booking. I wished they did offer zig zag retainers though but I do have slight spaces in my teeth at least from the far back top teeth.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to see Dr Tim for almost 2 years now as he is doing my adult braces. I find dentists/orthodontists/teeth people absolutely terrifying and only went with Dr Tim because a friend had recommended him and i am so glad i did. Dr Tim and all the staff at Family Orthodontics are so friendly, informative and professional. It doesn't feel clinical or frightening to go there every month because everyone is so warm, friendly and welcoming. When deciding about whether or not i should get braces, Dr Tim clearly explained everything, i was presented with all my options and there was never any pressure to do anything - which some dentists have done with me in the past. Once i chose to get the braces, he outlined all the steps, timelines and provided me with clear instructions about looking after my braces. Even the monthly checkups and adjustments have been quick and straightforward. I really appreciate the time, effort and care Dr Tim has taken because braces or anything toothy is a big investment and pretty scary to me. I couldn't recommend Dr Tim and the team at Family Orthodontics highly enough. This whole experience has been extremely professional, seamless and un-traumatising and i'm really loving the way my teeth look.

Dr Fong did an excellent job for me with Invisalign - I'm really pleased with the result and her manner is always professional, courteous and helpful. Negative experience: Honestly, cannot wait to be done with their service and never go this dentistry again. It is clear that Dr. Mew.Sum does not care for his patients as he is unaware of the pain he inflicts when conducting routinely dental procedure. I had my gums bleed and dental equipment being jabbed into my mouth due to his 'accidents' when trying to clean or adjust my teeth which causes extreme amount of pain the next day. If it was not due to an unfortunately incident I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else more fitting and professional with their care rather than a distracted and unprofessional place like Family Orthodontic. If 0 stars were possible I would of given it that score rather than 1 that's how badly I rate my experience.

My experience has always been a pleasure and I highly recommend this place. It’s been a while but I needed to get my plates replaced and couldn’t visit on Saturday’s. Quite misleading when I asked the staff earlier in the week.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr Fong and her office team throughout my entire treatment. The people there were kind and caring and the fees and costs very reasonable too...and I researched this! They explained the procedures from the start to finish...no hidden costs and straightforward. It seems quite busy there in the afternoons, so if possible I try avoiding those times. Was recommended there by several friends and have now recommended to my family and others too.

Negative experience: Not a good experience. I have booked an appointment, went on time however i still waited 30-45 mins to be accommodated.. 4-5 people came after me and they are served first. so what's the point of doing an appointment then?? They told me there's 2 doctors inside.. so?? that should make it quicker isn't?? i believe they give priority to people who will pay gold for their braces than patients who only requires consultation. Waited more than half an hour and only see Dr Fong for less than 5 minutes. And what did she said?? The xray said they are not sure what is happening. Better go to the surgeon. Hand me a referal letter and ask for $50! waste of time and waste of my $50. She is not even sure if she has discussed previously what is the issue. Just to let you know DR FONG.. on my initial consultation, you already required me to pay $500 without even diagnosing whats the problem. To add on it, you and your staff are forcing me to have it! Good Job Dr Fong! make sure you talk to your patients in a more professional way and not talk to them in a rush, patients go and consult a doctor because they need assistance. I guess you just wanted the money than actually helping patients.

The staff are great and helpful, Dr Michele Fong is undoubtedly the nicest and friendliest orthodontist and Dr Tim Mew-Sum presents himself as a very down to earth. All in all they create a strong team who all work together in harmony. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!
