Negative experience: I’ve had several treatments here, but unfortunately, there was some kind of issue each time. When I visited another dentist, I was told that the treatment wasn’t done properly. It’s really disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown fall off while visiting from Ohio. These folks got me in right away and took care of things quickly and professionally. Great, friendly staff! Brian, the dentist, was very thorough and I can now finish vacation with no chewing issues!!

Dr Joffe took the time to thoroughly explain the treatment options and provided a detail plan for my dental work. My previous anxiety in a dental chair was resolved with his first treatment as he was caring, gentle and making sure I was comfortable at all times. His expertise, communication skills and personality provided excellent dental treatment.I have great admiration for what he has achieved with my new dental implants and crowns.

Fantastic experience: I have had a lot of dentistry in my life time; extractions, bonding, root canals, crowns, implants, etc etc. I recently switched dentists (after my last dentist retired) to Dr Brian Joffe in search for a dentist that had the experience and skill set to manage my array of issues. I am glad I found Brian. I came in to replace a group of old crowns and remove the decay that had built up underneath some of them over 17 years which was done in conjunction with extractions in preparation for a few implants. It was very difficult and detailed work that required good planning and execution. He was informative, caring and did a fantastic job with a great outcome. I highly recommend Brain.

Fantastic experience: I've always been fearful of going to the dentist because of past experience until Hyde Park Dental Care. I first came here in 2019 because I wanted a consultation on Invisalign. I was not able to start the treatment immediately because my teeth were not the healthiest. Then, I started a series of deep cleaning, wisdom teeth removal etc with Dr Brian. I was so well looked after every step of the way. Every session was basically pain free. Fast forward to today, my teeth are healthy, perfectly aligned and I love my new smile. And I can never thank Dr Brian enough for that.

Fantastic experience: I cracked a tooth while visiting Sydney and needed emergency root canal treatment. Dr Brian Joffe was able to see me quickly and, from the get-go, I felt in safe hands. Very competent (he is a GP who does dentistry) and very nice with it. Dr Brian even came in on his day off to sort out the bite on the filling the next day. Highly recommended

Positive experience: I had mild pain and called the clinic, got an appointment on the next day. The tooth must be removed and there was no pain post the tooth extraction, the doctor gave a guideline and the doctor have good personality as well. The fee is acceptable , not super expensive compare with other dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: On my way down to Sydney via a cruise ship, I had an accident two weeks before my arrival that required some dentist expertise. This situation was very concerning to me given it required dental work and I am very choosy about my dentist. I only had the internet as a source for a reference. I looked at the reviews and decided that I would go with Hyde Park Dental Care. My first contact with the receptionist was professional and pleasant. She got me scheduled the next day. I am one who always observes my surroundings. I was so happy to observe a very clean, bright, comfortable and highly equipped office. Upon my arrival, the doctor was ready for me within 5 minutes and his demeanor was very professional. My dental work was completed in an efficient and painless manner and the bill was well within my expectations given the professional services rendered. I highly recommend this dental group.

The first time I came in for a check up, I told him that I was mentally and financially prepared for a mouthful of cavities to be fixed. By the end of the very thorough check up, he found only two (and explained why I thought I had so many more). I feel like any nefarious dentist would have tried to take advantage of my concerns but not Dr Joffe. He is so honest and understanding. I also require some other dental work to be done and Dr Joffe provided me with options at different price points. He has never been pushy, only patient and empathetic. I couldn’t be more grateful. Fantastic experience: I recently had to have emergency dental work completed on a Saturday. I am a member of a private medical fund and none of their offices were open throughout the city or suburbs. I rang a number of dental clinics leaving messages and within 10 minutes the only one to return my call was Dr Joffe from Hyde Park Dental. He and his wife were generous enough to travel into the city from their home to open the clinic and complete the work. I was so grateful to both he and his wife who went out of their way to assist me, particularly over the weekend. Negative experience: Friendly service and cheap pricing. Was disappointing however that despite no presence of pain or previous problems, a filling carried out on their recommendation ended up failing and requiring root canal treatment. Whether this was due to the way the filling was done is unclear. I would simply advise to always research treatment suggested to you and obtain a second opinion if possible. There are certainly alternative dental practices with superior ratings to consider.

Fantastic experience: Good dentist, almost too honest for his own good. His staff are friendly. They have a good setup where they're email you/SMS you beforehand, and are pretty good about keeping to time on appointments. When there's an issue, he'll give you options as to how to fix it, with a variety of price points. They'll take private insurance, and will bill the private before giving you the remaining bill. I haven't had issue with his recommendations or his work. The place is a little tricky to find, it's on floor 4, one floor below ground level.
