Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Dental on Flinders for ~5 years now and it’s been a great experience. All the staff are so friendly and accomodating. Earlier this year I met with Dr. Anbar who did my veneers and bonding, herself and Sarah were amazing throughout the whole process and I now have a smile that I’m so happy with. I would definitely recommend Dr. Anbar and Dental on Flinders for your dentist!

Fantastic experience: I have been a loyal patient of Dental on Flinders since moving back to the city three years ago, and every visit reaffirms that I chose the perfect dental practice. Why? Well, as they say in real estate, "Position is everything." Located on Flinders Street, they are incredibly easy to get to, right near the station and tram stops. Plus, being five levels up, the view from the treatment chair is truly a bird’s eye one. From the moment you walk in, the front desk team Milisa, Nancy and Steph make you feel genuinely welcome. They remember details about you, making every visit feel personal and caring. And here is something rare these days, I have never had to wait. That level of efficiency is practically unheard of in healthcare. When it comes to treatment, I have had various procedures done by three different dentists, but Dr Geeny’s chairside manner is truly outstanding. She puts you at ease, has a great sense of humour, listens attentively and most importantly has the knowledge and skill to fix any dental issue with confidence. Just recently, she extracted a troublesome molar so smoothly that I barely flinched. Post surgery, when I mentioned via the practice's follow up text that I was in pain, Steph and Dr Geeny immediately arranged for a Panadeine Forte prescription to be collected from my local pharmacy and she also booked me in for a review the next morning. That level of care and responsiveness is exceptional. And unlike many city based dental clinics, their pricing is fair and very reasonable. I know it might sound odd, but thanks to the team at Dental on Flinders, I actually enjoy going to the dentist. So, if you are looking for a practice that delivers expert care with warmth and efficiency, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth removed here about a month ago and I must say it was the most positive experience I ever had in a dental clinic. I was very nervous and afraid, but Dr. Anbar Ganatra addressed all of my concerns with incredible patience, explained every step of the process, and made me feel much calmer. In the end, she removed my tooth so quickly and pain-free that I was like “Oh! That’s it?” Also, the recovery was very fast, with no complications. Dr. Anbar Ganatra is truly the best dentist I ever had, and the clinic staff is extremely nice and patient and creates a very positive and relaxing environment in the clinic.

Fantastic experience: Came here after using my travel insurance, it was recommended with AirDoctor. We saw Dr. Anbar and Steph, the whole staff is amazing and very friendly. They made sure to address our needs and went above and beyond. Dr. Anbar was able to extract a tooth quickly with expertise. We were glad to come here, the payment and prices were very clear compared to back home in the USA! The location was very convenient, it’s right in front of Flinders Street Station. Fantastic experience: The first thing I have to say is that from the moment you arrive you feel entirely comfortable and confident with everything. I had a very complicated situation with gum disease and needed 5 implants. At no time during the procedure did I feel any discomfort whatsoever. I am in awe of the level of professional care and attention to detail. Max was truly amazing during this very complex work. It really was an exciting time for me! For the first time in 20 years I have a confident smile, teeth to chew with and a real sense of self again. The post care was the same. The checking that everything was working well, the continued guidance and tips to maintain the integrity of the teeth…. Really! I just cannot recommend Dental On Flinders more highly. Fantastic experience: This Dental Clinic shook my expectations. As a 18 year old recently moving to melbourne I was nervous for my first dental appointment alone, but before I stepped into the clinic I felt welcomed by a beautiful smile waiting for me. This clinic makes it clear they’re a family, not just colleagues. Everyone greeted me by name with a handshake and welcomed me for my first appointment. My concerns were listed on a google form you fill in before hand, which was amazing because i didn’t have to sit down and explain why I was there and wait for them to think about how to help. I could immediately tell they had read my concerns and even planned out my appointment! I was extremely happy with the fact the doctor (Dr Max) shook my hand, introduced himself, and said “welcome to dental on flinders”, which is expected but now days overlooked. Overall this was an extremely positive experience and i’ve definitely found my new dentist. FEEDBACK: When you book your appointment and add it to your calendar through the link, the address is wrong. It says floor 2 instead of floor 5. That’s all, Thank you very much Dental on Flinders !!

Fantastic experience: Last week I had a filling fall out whilst I was at work, and was lucky enough to be able to be squeezed in by Dr Callum and luckily his assistant Monique who both stayed back late on a Friday night which I was extremely grateful for. Dr Callum was very professional and ensured I was comfortable the whole time, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing any restorative work as the filling looks and feels great. Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency treatment and couldn't find a dentist to fit me in quickly on a Saturday morning... Hello Dental On Flinders!! They squeezed me in within an hour, gave me directions for public transport and stayed on the phone with me until I was on the right train. Nancy was very calming on the phone and made sure I got there with as little stress as possible. I saw Dr Cal who was very understanding of my situation, gave me all my options, and then proceeded with great care and gentleness. The job (although only able to be done as a temporary fix until I got back home) was second to none and is still holding strongly. I even received a follow up phone call to see if all was good. Fantastic experience: Dental On Flinders team is amazing! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I went for root canal treatments, the whole process was stress free. Dr. Callum North and Milisa are very professional, caring, and gentle. Dr. Callum is very patient and explains things clearly, he is very honest and informative with the treatment. I was initially very scared when I read online about the root canal procedures, but I ended up feeling very comfortable going for the root canal appointments because I felt that my teeth were taken great care of. Fantastic experience: I have been very impressed by Max Ganhewa and the team at Dental On Flinders. I went there on a recommendation from my daughter, who has an aversion to dentists but she came away from her sessions there feeling very at ease with how things went. I found the analytical work to be excellent, the dental hygiene advice was the best I've had, and the work done (removal of a wisdom tooth and subsequent implant work) was very professional.

From emergency ph call for a broken tooth to the entire gamut of services as required, no up-sell - I would say faultless. Professional to the core but so personable and enjoyably interactive. It did not feel like having a complicated dental procedure at all. The outcome, a repaired tooth like new! Thank you. I definitely would recommend DoF to everyone. Even if you don’t need dental work. Nancy has a loud voice but she is really a beautiful soul like a big mama. She will distract your attention to TV or music away from those horrible dental job noise. Actually everyone is so relax and friendly and make you feel at home. I strongly recommend this clinic and service to everyone. Oh yes I also like their Tooth Club Membership which can save you a lot of money if you are going to come back for their service which I will!

Fantastic experience: Easy location and great friendly staff from the moment you walk in. During my check up, clean and filling, I felt very informed of the procedure and all the staff were attentive, constantly checking that I was not in pain during my filling. They also have an online portal that allows me to see all the details spoken about during the appointment including visual illustration to high light problem teeth. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of dentists. Petrified even. This was trauma from bad dental experiences as a child so I've avoided them as much as possible.... Until now. I had a filling fall out ages ago and have been experiencing sensitivity for months. Booked an appointment and bit the bullet to get my teeth issues sorted. Was greeted by very friendly front desk ladies then subsequently taken in by Dr Jessica who immediately made me feel 100% at ease. She was very friendly, thorough and meticulous with her work and made effort in keeping me comfortable throughout my clean + filling of 2 cavities. She was also transparent with the cost before proceeding. Also big shout out to the lovely practice manager Steph for the laughs and keeping me distracted. I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually kinda enjoyed my time at the dentist. I'd highly recommend this practice. Thank you ladies!

Fantastic experience: I never liked going to the dentist, so usually avoid it because they can be rough, careless and make up the urgency of things you need to get done. Well Max is the opposite of all that, he is honest, friendly, easy to deal with. I went in and had 3 pain free fillings while watching Netflix. Hell, I almost enjoyed it. Highly recommend Max to anyone need a dentist! All the staff there are also lovely.

Fantastic experience: I look forward to visiting the dentist. They’re that good. Max is very knowledgeable, and was able to diagnose problems that I’ve been having for years without any dentist picking them up. Plus they’re super conveniently located, they have appointments outside work hours, their reception staff and communications are outstanding, and they have all the latest technology (they can 3D scan your teeth to track progress over time, and 3D mounds to fit you exactly!). Oh and if you want to watch Netflix while they work on your teeth they have you covered. Can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I was quite nervous for my wisdom tooth removal but Dr Claudia was very friendly and explained the procedure well. She did the removal within just 10-15 minutes. Filling took longer than that normally! I had only local anasthesia and it was fine for me. Also, I had dental checkups with Dr Casey as well. He is brilliant! Super friendly dentist, didn't rush his explanation, and answered all my questions patiently. If you are nervous about going to a dentist or need wisdom tooth removal done, these dentists are highly recommended.

Negative experience: I don't get why this place keeps getting 5 star reviews but I had a bad experience last Wednesday. I only went here because my regular dentist was too booked out. I had heaps of pain from dry socket. First I booked my 45 min appt and rushed to get there on time. Was made to wait 15mins and had to prompt them and ask if I would be seen soon. When I asked to have my wisdom tooth cavity irrigated before a dressing was packed into it, the dentist did not want to do so as he stated that he had to reopen the wound. What a load of BS, as it's just meant to be cleaned out using a syringe and some savcol. So I just think he was being lazy despite the fact that we had time left in the booking to do so. 2 days later I went back to my regular dentist and she properly irrigated it out for me for a while and both her and the dental nurse stated that there was a fair bit of food stuck in it. Lucky I didn't get an infection due to these guys laziness and slack service. So I was only seen for a mere 15 mins instead of 45, and didn't even get my wound cleaned! Not good.

Fantastic experience: I'll describe Dr. Max as simply a "Dentist with a heart", Hard to come around them these days. I believe Max cares more for my teeth, than myself. I'll start with me being absolutely terrified & anxious when it comes to dentists, from a childhood bad dental experience, and the first time I've seen Max about 6 months ago, was still worried and terrified. After the first normal filling treatment, just did a Root Canal 2 days ago, and was as peaceful as a lamb. I knew I was in great hands. I was in pain when I callled, so the team at Dental on Flinders did a quick booking, compared previous/now x-rays, did a root canal, even though I was not booked in for one, they understood my pain, and simply looked after me as best as possible. Been followed up if everything's ok, and advised what I need to do to prevent my other tooth coming to a root canal case-scenario. With Dental on Flinders and meeting Max & the team, I literally went from "afraid of dentist" to "excited and worry-free to see a dentist again". Thanks for the whole experience Max and Steph, looking forward to seeing you again in 4 weeks time :!

So, at least you can expect what you have to pay, which is very helpful for someone like me (international student here) who do not have private insurance for dental work. I would recommend everyone who is looking for a good dental clinic.

Gave me written notes at the end to help me remember everything we talked about, and gave me an estimate of how much my next appointment would cost so I can be prepared. Reception staff also very friendly and helpful.

After consulting a number of dentists in the area, Jaclyn stood out through her fantastic communication, care, and attention to detail in her work. She absolutely goes above and beyond for her clients, ensuring patient comfort and an extremely high quality final result - I can't fault the new porcelain veneers.
