Negative experience: I wanted an appointment to get a quote for a large amount of dental work but was advised the appointment would be $65. It's a lot like a car dealer charging you to enter their showroom.

Negative experience: I’ve generally had really positive experiences with the dentists and staff here, but on this occasion, I booked a *1 hour* clean online, with Nadia, and only received a 30 min clean. I asked her about this when I was surprised the appointment had ended so quickly, and she told me that she only does 30 min cleans. If I had known this beforehand, I wouldn’t have booked her. My partner recently had his teeth cleaned by the other hygienist there and said that he received a one hour clean. I think more consistency is in order, or at least, I should have been charged less for the clean I received. Sadly disappointed

Fantastic experience: The dentists, dental assistants and girls at reception are all lovely and welcoming. Being French they all took the time to explain things to me gently. The appointments are quick, no need to wait months to get an appointment, a week is enough. And most importantly the care is impeccable, I had two wisdom teeth removed today, it lasted less than an hour and I didn't feel a thing. A little extra for me who is a big scaredy-cat, they reassured me really well. Thank you team

She's very thorough and professional and she's a lovely person and a pleasure to be around. Fantastic experience: The best team in town. I had 2 x wisdom teeth pulled over by Dr Daniel Yap without me even knowing. It only took 5mins and the job is completed very successfully. I m a very nervous person when it comes to tooth removal. But Dr Daniel's knowledge, experience, passion, easygoing attitude and kindness made me feel so relaxed to face the challenge. Has to mention the helpful kindness of his assistant staff as well. She knows how to treat their patients with kindness. The cost was unbelievably affordable. Many dental services quoted more than $1000 but only costed $680 all inclusive. Alex, the face of the brand with the lovely smile, is amazing. She exactly knows which requirement should be allocated to which doctor. Thank you so much for all the kindness and help Team. Wouldn't go anywhere again for future tooth care matters.

Fantastic experience: I’m 31yo and have had my fair share of unpleasant dental experiences. But I can honestly say getting a thorough clean from Leianna on a regular basis is not something that I dread/resist at all. She is kind, gentle and extremely comprehensive (also very friendly and makes for a safe environment). I have recommended her to at least 10 of my friends/family and thoroughly commend her to anyone reading this review!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I found Brunswick Dental Group and Dr Eden Ambrose specifically. He's so thorough, friendly and calming, really takes the time and effort to diagnose and treat; and now a problem I've had for two decades as finally healed after two appointments! No other dentist has been able to do this. I've had problems with bleeding and tender gums for about two decades, and all my previous dentists just gave me cursory cleans - in and out in 10 minutes - and told me "floss and brush and it will go away"... It didn't, until I came here. Very thorough inspection, and an even more thorough clean! Deep right into the problem areas. It was so bad that it needed two hour-long sessions and an anaesthetic, but it didn't hurt at all, and Dr Ambrose's bedside manner put me at ease. After the really deep clean, my gums have finally stopped bleeding after twenty years and several different dentists. Dr Ambrose was also kind enough to call me a week later to check that my gums were doing okay. I love this place, and I'm recommending it to all my friends. I'm coming back here. I feel really cared for, and that they really, genuinely, want the best for your oral health.

Fantastic experience: I had an awesome experience coming here! Everyone was very friendly and comforting. I had my appointment with Dr Eden Ambrose and I would definitely recommend seeing him. I told him that I had never really been taught much about oral health and he kindly explained a few important things to know and was very kind. Fantastic experience: One word: WOW. To say I was blown away would be the understatement of the century. Being fairly high maintenance about my teeth, I’ve always had routine check ups and preventative work where necessary. When my regular dentist retired a few years ago, I bounced around to a few different dentists, with none really ticking all the boxes. The last dentist I saw for about two years but they ended up botching a filling replacement quite significantly after putting it off for a number of visits stating they “didn’t want to drill unless absolutely necessary”. While I respect and appreciate this attitude, if it’s causing any issues, I believe it should absolutely be dealt with. Of course, I ended up with terrible discomfort, requiring the filling to be replaced, which is when the real issues arose. The discomfort from prior to the replacement was mildly soothed but food would continuously get caught where the new filling was, the tooth was now incredibly sensitive and it began to have a smell when flossing (gross!). I chose to make the switch to Brunswick Dental Group on a friend’s referral, and Alexandra managed to find me a cancellation at short notice before I left for an extended holiday. The appointment was with Katherine and from the get-go she was gentle in her approach and had incredible communication. Katherine and Stella took a couple of X-rays and it was agreed that the filling should ideally be replaced (again..). Though it was a lengthy process, the diligence and care was something like I’ve never experienced. Since being replaced the filling is completely unnoticeable and feels like a real tooth again. There is ZERO sensitivity, which Katherine said was unlikely to be resolved, setting very realistic expectations given the proximity to the nerve. Any issues when flossing have been completely resolved too. Though the dental health issues were the primary reason I attended BDG, the icing on the cake (probably the wrong figure of speech for a dentist review) was the fact that it didn’t leave me broke at the end of the whole process. I can’t thank Katherine, Stella and Alexandra enough for the exceptional care and can’t wait to come back in 6 months. I’ve already made sure to let my family and friends know that they have to make the switch - after all, the teeth that Katherine is looking after sit in a very big, loud mouth. Thank you so much again! ps MASSIVE bonus points to the clinic for genuinely caring. There was an elderly gentleman with mobility issues ahead of me in the hallway and one of the other dentists (I believe Dr Jim Yannopoulos from the website photos) was so gentle with him and his wife, assisting them both with getting down the hallway safely. Really lovely to see.

Negative experience: Gave me pain and increased sensitivity in the name of restoration..my tooth was fine and then after the examination the dentist told that the teeth needs adhesive restoration and I did as they said. After the restoration I received pain! Got back to the dentist to be checked. The dentist said all good and then when I asked why I am having pain if all is good then there is no answer. So basically I paid to get some unbearable pain. Now I have problems eating because I can't chew for the pain..this is not good..this is frustrating

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming staff making you feel super comforting and well cared for I initially came here with a treatment plan from another clinic (from Sydney), Dr Jim examined me thoroughly and advised me why I don't need most of the prescribed work done. She was kind, caring and explained what was going on in my mouth very clearly, which I had not experienced with other dentists beforehand. This both gave me peace of mind and helped me understand what was of major concern and how to combat it effectively. Fantastic experience: I have been attending the dental clinic for over 20 years and have had a lot of dental treatment. Dr Daniel Yap and his offsider Anna are fantastic. They both are welcoming, make you feel comfortable and are very professional. Daniel has been a great dentist. I have liked the way he hasn’t been judgemental and has not over serviced. In an emergency he has been able to see me. I now am moving away from Brunswick so will need to find a new dentist - Daniel has recommended someone.

Fantastic experience: As someone who hasn’t been to the dentist for 15 years, I was extremely anxious about going to get my sore tooth checked out. From the moment I walked in to the clinic, the vibe was friendly and caring. Dr Jim greeted me like he would an old friend and within 30 minutes I’d been examined, x-rayed and had my wisdom tooth removed which was the cause of the pain. All for the low cost of $315! It was all so easy and I felt supported every step of the way. Dr Jim even went so far as to call me after hours tonight to check up on me and offer any additional support over the phone. What an absolute legend! Can’t recommend this place more highly

It's daunting finding a new dentist after many years of not having one, but everyone at BDG is so welcoming and genuinely care about you and your dental hygiene, and not about rushing the process. Fantastic experience: I rang, after checking Google Maps for dentists, whilst in great pain & the warm, pleasant receptionist got me in on the day due to a cancellation, which I am so grateful for. The dentist was friendly, up front & efficient. I had my cracked tooth extracted. It wasn’t cheap ($335) but was happy to pay for excellent service.

Daniel is an excellent dentist and I wholeheartedly trust the work that he does. The other staff are also absolutely lovely. I have moved out of the area but I still go here. It is also affordable.

Leianna took such good care of me, she guided me through all the steps involved in the hygiene process, explaining why each step was necessary and what they did. We have been very pleased about the quality of services we have received. We have received a variety of dental services: check-ups, teeth cleaning performed by the dental hygienist, fillings, braces, root canals, crowns and extractions. We have never had a single problem in all that time. Prices are fair and reasonable. I always feel genuinely welcome and cared about when I visit this place. I know when I send someone I care about here for dental services, they're in good hands. That peace of mind, that you are certain you are going to get the best possible service, is worth a lot to me.

Fantastic experience: Dr Yap and Dr Yannopoulos are two of the most caring and gentle dentists I have ever been to. I had 2 tooth extractions but never felt any pain. Before each procedure, Dr Yap explains things very simply and in detail and in a caring manner, so there is no fear about anything unexpected that might happen. Likewise with Dr Yannopoulos. After my experience, I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I had terrible gum pain and the team worked their magic - it started by setting up an appointment as soon a feasibly possible; they also kept in regular touch to try and get me in sooner (in the case of any cancellations). Big ticks for a business that calls back when they promise - so important! Service with a smile might sound too much like a pun in the dental world ... but when a pun makes for an excellent experience, who am I to question it. The team made me feel so comfortable, talked me through my treatments, before, during and after .... and they made me smile, even though I was in pain. They gave me spot on aftercare advice and I’ve healed at record speed - so that’s definitely another big tick for this amazing team! I highly recommend Brunswick Dental Group.

My dentist is both highly technically proficient and empathetic and I feel extremely fortunate to have him as my dentist. All the staff are friendly and the dental hygienist are also exceptional. Fantastic experience: These guys are the best! Dr Jim and his team are very professional and I feel safe in their hands. I have been a patient for over 20 years and in that time, had a lot of work done. I think it's fair to say, they saved my teeth. My hygienist Pricilla, does a wonderful job, always ensuring her patient is comfortable, understands the procedure and is not afraid or scared. Brunswick Dental Group have been in the same location for 30 years. This in itself is a testament to their good work and growing customer base. Many of the staff have been there a long time, which to me is reassuring. I never hesitate when my next appointment comes around because I know I will come out looking and feeling fabulous!
