The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and paperwork a breeze. I felt at ease the moment I walked in. Dr Faddoul arranged Invisalign braces along with regular routine checks and for ongoing care. I am one who was once terrified of dentists and turning up to the first appointment was nerve racking, however the compassion and kindness that I was showed cannot be compared to anything. Everyone made me feel comfortable and safe through humour and their expertise. There are many dental clinics near me yet I choose to drive 45 minutes every appointment and that speaks volumes for Unique Dental. Cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Unique Dental Clinic is an understatement! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Dr Faddoul is amazing, she honestly cares about your teeth, gums and the outcome you want to achieve cosmetically. Plus the general care including root canals that don't give you grief at all or even years later! They encourage you to get full x-rays under Medicare instead of charging a ridiculous price for x-rays. Most other dentist charge you for one or two teeth x-rays, at the end of the consultation instead of consulting you of the price prior to taking the x-rays. Always finding no issues. I had a teeth whitening treatment somewhere else, it was a random act! which left stain marks on my teeth, when I went back for an explanation, he told me it was due to smoking and offered me porcelain veneers to cover it, never taking responsibilities for his staff whitening treatment or lack of proper cleaning treatment prior to whitening them. I received a Excellent clean from Unique Dental Clinic, and they look as white as the whitening treatment received from my previous dentist!. She explained the reason for my stains and solved the problem! I've now booked in my regular clean knowing my teeth are always going to look amazing white without any Veneers or added costs. You need to book in a consult with Unique prior to any whitening or veneers options. It maybe such a simple fix instead of a heartache. Thank you to the team and Dr Faddoul

Negative experience: I recently had a series of appointments with Unique dental clinic and I feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, it has not been a positive one. During my last visit, I left the office in tears. I came to this practice seeking help for my dental issues, fully aware that my teeth were not in the best condition. Instead of receiving the support and understanding I hoped for, I felt insulted and belittled. To make matters worse, I overheard staff members discussing me in a dismissive manner, which was incredibly hurtful. I am a patient, not just a number, and I deserve to be treated with respect. Moreover, I was shocked to learn that I would not be able to reschedule my appointments unless I could make a substantial payment upfront—$25,000, to be exact. The pressure to deposit money into an account before receiving care felt completely unreasonable and unprofessional. I understand that dental work can be expensive, but the lack of compassion and professionalism displayed by the dentist and the staff was disheartening. Even if services were offered for free, I would not feel comfortable returning to this practice. In summary, I cannot recommend Merrylands Dental Clinic based on my experience. I believe patients should be treated with kindness and respect, especially when they are seeking help for their health.
