Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the lack of ethics and professionalism at Robina Dental Lodge. I came to the clinic to repair a broken front tooth, and the experience was frustrating from the very beginning. During the first appointment, the dentist was casually chatting with her assistant throughout the procedure. When she said she was done, I was shocked — the tooth was noticeably shorter than the other, completely breaking the symmetry of my smile. She tried to adjust it but repeatedly asked “is it okay now?” — clearly unsure of what a proper result should look like. That’s when I lost trust completely. A dentist who can’t independently assess whether a front tooth is too short or too long simply lacks professional judgment. First it was too short, then too long — she had no reference point and no control over the aesthetic result. The clinic scheduled a follow-up appointment to fix the mistake. I was seen by their senior dentist, who evaluated the situation. After I insisted, he admitted he could not fix the result and promised a refund, which I appreciated at the time. But that honesty didn’t last. In the following weeks, I exchanged multiple emails and submitted everything they asked for — including technical photos clearly showing the asymmetry using visual markers and clinical annotations. The difference between the two front teeth is clearly visible even to a non-professional, and the markings make it indisputable. Still, the clinic chose to deny responsibility, claiming in writing that the work was “within acceptable parameters.” So: • They did poor, visibly uneven dental work. • They promised to fix it, then admitted they couldn’t. • They promised a refund. • And then they refused it anyway — even after seeing clear technical evidence. This has cost me time, money, and confidence. I’ve missed two workdays and now have to seek proper treatment elsewhere. This is not a question of opinion — the asymmetry is visible, proven, and professionally documented. And yet, they dismissed it. I strongly advise others to stay away from this clinic if you expect accountability, ethics, or competent aesthetic care. Rodrigo Souza

Without a doubt, the calming nature and attentiveness of the staff at today's visit was a massive relief, and for me was a big step. Once my appointment was over, after a little emotional meltdown before and during my procedure (sorry about that.. ) I actually made another appointment to see them again in a couple of weeks to continue with more work I need done. Fantastic experience: To anyone who has always been as scared of a dentist as I was then I have a solution for you! The Dental Lounge Robina will get you sorted. Yesterday I had to go in for work on 4 teeth. I have previously had gas but the dentist I had last week doesn't do gas but the clean I got from him was the best I'd ever had. So I decided to trust him to do the work without gas. On the day I was a bit of a blubbering mess due to having to get needles in my mouth. My biggest nightmare! We had a chat before hand and he gave me the option to try to go without needles and just use the gel. If I couldn't cope the option of needles would be offered. 90 minutes later he was finished and I can assure you not one bit of pain was felt by me. He was AMAZING!!!! So gentle and caring. From memory his name was Winston.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently had our first consultation and dental cleaning at Dental Lounge Robina with Jessica Rosa. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the office had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The dentist was thorough, explained everything clearly, and made us feel comfortable. Negative experience: Letting me know my Dentist had left would have been nice. Receptionist needs a big attitude adjustment and reminded she is in customer service. So rude

Negative experience: Do not trust information provided in regards to cost and health care cover for whitening. The area manager told me ‘if you have a health fund it covers a big part of it’ and ‘ bupa usually cover around 250$’ through their text line and there was no truth in this at all. No attempt to rectify this either. Would not recommend

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Professional and Caring staff. Being a Terrified individual which I am, I was offered the perfect solution for my fear. After a full exam, the years of neglect by me was all fixed under sedation leaving me relaxed and confident of routine visits. Thanks Dr Kate.

Negative experience: I am disgusted with the appalling service i received here. I am pretty sure my dentists name was angela (student dentist or first year). I came here in 2015 to get a tooth extracted and i was in there for four whole hours. Angela placed numbing needle on my gum for one second and thought that would be enough. The pain was unbearable and 7 years later i am still traumatised and get flashbacks. After sitting there in tears for 4 hours she recommended me to a dental surgeon that wouldve cost thousands of dollars. instead i went to broadbeach dental practice who applied the numbing needle correctly for two minutes and extracted my tooth within 20 minutes. If you care for your childrens dental needs do not send them here or atleast make sure you are not booking with angela.

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars, deserve a million. I have had a massive fear of going to the dentist for years now due to traumatising experiences over the years. Starting from primary school where you would get taken out of class to go to the school dentist, I was terrified of needles so I would go through procedures with no pain relief. I continued to have negative experiences as an adult with dentists showing no consideration for my fears. I could not even walk into a dental clinic, I would turn the radio off when an ad for a dentist came on, it was pretty bad. Last year my son had been attending a dental clinic at Robina Town Centre, I spoke with a dentist there and explained my situation, I finally worked up the courage to make an appointment for myself. I paid for a check up and clean, they took x-rays and had a good look at my teeth, no cleaning was done. I was given a list of what needed to be done, including fillings and pulling out 3 teeth, I was also told my fear was so bad that I would need to be knocked out to have the work done. It was very confronting and overwhelming, as I sat crying I was told by the dentist "well you knew it wasn't going to be good". I left in tears and was told they would call me in 2 weeks. A very long story short, no return calls and lockdowns due to Covid I called them back. I was told again they would call me back, months passed, I think they put me in the too hard basket, I never heard from them again. With my phone in hand, tears streaming down my face, I sat scrolling through Google. I read review after review, I was so upset that I wouldn't find a dentist that would understand and then I came across the Dental Lounge Robina. Are you serious, just up the road from where I live. I called and spoke with the most amazing lady who took the time to listen to me and was very patient and understanding. My son needed a check up so I booked him in and went with him. Dr Kate and Rochelle were amazing, they would talk through my Son's procedures to make me feel comfortable and at ease. I made an appointment for myself, the first visit Dr Kate thoroughly discussed my dental plan and worked with me at a pace that I felt comfortable with. I have had quite a bit of work done, without being knocked out and the teeth the last dentist said would need to be pulled out were saved and filled thanks to Dr Kate. Rochelle was so supportive throughout my visits as was Courtney and Jess, the hygienist. They are all absolute angels and honestly cared about my situation and did not make me feel embarrassed. Thank you so much lovely ladies.

Negative experience: Ive been a customer there for some years and they called me to say my check up is due and booked an appointment. After the check up I was told HCF didn't cover it as it always had before and I had to pay $90. I contacted HCF and they do not have Dental Lounge on their list anymore and they were disgusted that Dental Lounge did not advise me as they would of course have known.

Fantastic experience: I am petrified of the dentist. I grew up in an era when the U.K. NHS dentists used us kids as guinea pigs to practice on in the 1970’s. I find every visit to the dentist completely traumatising. Kaitlin, my dentist at the dentist lounge, deserves a medal for the service she provides me. She’s calm, understanding, sensitive to my needs and totally reassuring and professional. Worth her weight in gold and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. If I could rate higher than five stars I would. Thank you ♥️

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff made you feel welcome. Specialist Dr George did a root canal and finished in less than an hour while I watched a movie on Netflix. No pain 24 hours after the procedure. Able to claim on the spot and was affordable. To top it off they called me the next day to see how I was feeling. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist for 25+ years. My fear was paralyizing after a traumatic visit when I was younger. I got an infected abcess and was left with no choice but to choose a dentist. I'm pretty sure I cried when I rang to make the appointment and was panic stricken when I went in. The reception staff were so wonderful and so supportive and did so much to alleviate my distress . I had severe periodontal disease and had to have the tooth removed. I feel so fortunate to have seen Dr. Kate for my first appointment and she has single handedly changed my fear about the dentist!. I had to go to a specialist periodontist and have a huge procedure done (twice) to begin the process of healing the gum disease - which I did and it has been life changing. I went and saw Dr. Kate today and as an adult feel pretty proud at my adulting of making my dentist proud!! It's difficult to put into words how excellent she is at her job. If you have a fear of the dentist - fear no more. If I can sit in the chair, anyone can. All the staff at The Dental Lounge are gold standard. Make the call

I was in desperate need of dental work every tooth needed attention, after my first very nervous phone call contact and then consultation, we jointly decided l would be suitable to have a full general anthestic, this would be done in hospital enabling Dr Kate to do all the dental work l required. I am so grateful to all involved with my care and dental work, l can not recommend the dental lounge highly enough, they are all very special, caring, professionals, when put together make an unbelievable team. I came across Robina dental lounge because I had heard they had sedation as a service they offered !:) I had to go and just thought I would give them a go !! Kate smith is my dentist and she is truly brilliant !!! I had the most incrediabke job done with my teeth!
