Even though I had to cut the duration of my braces shortly because I was going to a different state, dr.Jeet took care of everything and made sure I had the perfect results in a short time. He made sure I had my retainers and explained everything to me before I go. I would definitely recommend this dental clinic to people who want braces or are looking into it.

I had lots of dental treatment with multiple visits over the past 5 months which included many root canal treatments, white fillings and ceramic crowns. The treatment was exceptional. I did not have any pain during any appointment and it always went smoothly. I am very happy with the treatment and has helped me regain my confidence, smile and no food packing between teeth. My gums have also become very healthy with no bleeding. I am really grateful to entire team at Amelia Street Dental for taking lovely care of me. Furthermore, all the dental treatment was very explained very well at the start as well as during each appointment. Keep on doing the good work !! Dr Jeet has attended to both my partner and myself, and we both agree his professionalism and knowledge in his field is outstanding. He always explains what the ideal plan is regarding treatments while at the same time providing alternative options. It was also convenient that during my root canal, I didn’t need to be referred to a specialist as they were able to accomodate me at the clinic. Fantastic experience: My experience was really positive. Didn't have to take pain killer tablets after seeing a dentist for the first time in my life while one of my dental fillings was really tricky and super close to the tooth's nerve. My dentist doctor spent enough time to ensure the fillings are perfectly done as well as explaining what he has done and what else and when we should do later. Staffs were very welcoming as well.

Negative experience: Had a tooth removed $680 then went to another dentist and had a tooth removed and only $240. Amelia dental prices are way too high
Hi David - sorry to hear about your experience. We work hard to make sure we're competitively priced, and our prices are on par with other clinics. Further, our fees are based on several factors, including but not limited to the clinical scenario, the difficulty of the extraction procedure, location of the site, clinician's experience, etc. Besides with the current pandemic situation, the cost of dental consumables is increasing day by day, putting a lot of strain on dental practices.
However, we do want to use this opportunity to clarify a few things. You had not one but two teeth extracted in the same appointment. One molar had a large abscess, and extra precautions had to be taken during extraction and for good post-operative healing, for which we had placed a special medicament at the extraction sites. Apart from this, we also did a full comprehensive examination and x- rays. Thus, you were charged $680 for the extraction of two teeth, one with a large abscess and comprehensive teeth examination and x-rays and the special healing medicament. We hope this explains everything.

Negative experience: This is the WORST dentist I have ever been too! I had to go here as my usual dentist was booked out. AMELIA Street Dental are Completely under experienced, under qualified and unprofessional. After CLEAR instructions and 2 xrays showing which tooth needed a repair, the “dentist” filed down THE WRONG tooth!!! Then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong!!! After I argued with him, he then fixed the correct tooth and had the cheek to tell me that he wont charge for damaging the healthy tooth he had filed in error!! He also used no anaesthetic “because it is not needed” - his words not mine but still charged me an exorbitant price for a 10 min job!!! I will never EVER return to this dentist and urge others not to sacrifice their healthy teeth by going here. To top it off, the filling also fell off 3 weeks later (see photo) - Thank goodness for my usual dentist being an ACTUAL qualified professional and repairing this correctly!

Fantastic experience: Amelia Street dental deserve a 5 star . I haven't been to the dentist in years and went to see these guys recommended by a friend. When I walked in it looked and smelt clean and I was greeted by a lovely lady at reception, she helped me out making me feel welcome which is great due to my anxiety and booked me in straight away which was so handy. The dentist and his assistant were so lovely and professional and gave me great information on my teeth as well as a great new smile. Fantastic experience: I had an incomplete root canal treatment that was done long time ago. It is starting to act up again and Dr.Jeet explained the importance of completing the treatment to further restore its function. He was able to do so with almost no pain. After there was no sensitivity and the tooth was bleached for aesthetic purpose. I would recommend his service to anyone who has doubts about dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Dr A Wagh is one of the best doctors in Perth. I went to several dentist for my wisdom tooth removal and they said it was very complicated and requires a surgeon, however, Dr Wagh removed it for me without any major complications.

Fantastic experience: I attended to have a consult to have my wisdom teeth removed, after the consult they had me in on Friday the same week to have one tooth removed, and then a week later to have the other two removed. Everyone was very friendly and kind and the procedures were painless and easy. I’d recommend this clinic to anyone who’s looking for a dentist. I was anxious about my teeth and Dr Abhijit did the procedure so well. Dr Abhijit first examined my teeth and then gave me the quote and tell me about all insurance rebate with HCF. The clinic’s environment was stress-free and relaxing, and we were provided with excellent and honest medical advice by the doctor. Furthermore, we were also greatly assisted by the cordial and friendly staff who attended us. Fantastic experience: This review of the Amelia Street Dental Clinic is basically about my experience with one of the two practitioners, Dr Vijaya Wagh who owns this practice in partnership with her husband Dr Abhijit Wagh. My first encounter with Dr Vijaya Wagh was in Busselton in July 2016 when I had significant pain in my lower jaw due to a an infected front tooth. I needed urgent dental attention and hers was the only practice which could accommodate me at short notice. At this time my lower front teeth were a cosmetic disaster due to over crowding from childhood. After fixing the immediate problem Dr Wagh suggested that if I wanted, restorative work could be done, no dentist had ever suggested this before. Subsequently after a full mouth examination a plan was produced with quotations of cost and HBF benefit. The plan proceeded with significant cosmetic improvement. Since then I have had a number of procedures carried out by Dr Wagh including fillings ,extractions, crowns, bridges and root canal surgery and my teeth are now probably now in better shape than they have ever been. Dr Wagh is painstaking in explaining all procedures, options where they exist and using X rays to accompany the explanations. When she moved from Busselton to Perth I followed her to the new practice and I know others did the same. When she changed again to the Amelia Street Clinic I followed her there. In her own clinic she has greater flexibility to schedule my appointments including outside of normal hours. This is helpful as I try to schedule my appointments to fit in with other activities in Perth. I am 92 years of age and have lived in a number of locations in Australia and Canada and have been attended to by a number of dental practitioners and while I have no complaints about any of them I can honestly say that Dr Vijaya Wagh has given me the best dental service I have encountered.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous and had some anxiety towards coming back to the dentist from having some bad experiences, but the team at Amelia Street Dental made me feel very safe and welcome. Dr Abhijit Wagh is very considerate and he continuously asks me if I am ok during my visits. He is always so positive and creates a happy atmosphere for you as a client (even whilst being at the dentist), I feel very uplifted when I leave. I couldn’t recommend him and the rest of the team more!

Fantastic experience: The best dentist and staff around. Booked my children in for a clean and both said it was the best clean they have had. The staff are lovely, extremely helpful and professional. Dr Abhijit takes the time to explain what he is doing, he’s gentle and ensures your comfortable throughout your treatment. I highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Amelia Street Dental is such an excellent professional Dental clinic I had ever visited. The reception staff is very welcoming and ofcourse the doctors. I was anxious about my daughter’s tooth and Dr Abhijit did the procedure so well to my 4 year old and she was so happy and cooperative. Dr Abhijit handled the situation very well and my daughter is having a good memory of visiting a dentist. He explained all my questions and concerns so well. Excellent and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this clinic and doctor not only for adults but also for parents with small children.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jeet and his staff at Amelia st dental in Balcatta are wonderful. I had a broken and discoloured front tooth , Dr Jeet explained everything everything he was doing to fix the tooth. It looks fantastic again, had a routine check up and a scale and clean. Feels great, I felt no pain and was so relaxed during the appointment I fell asleep .. I can see the infection control is impeccable the clinic is bright and very clean .
