Fantastic experience: A large filling fell out of a back tooth while holidaying in Flinders Ranges. I was able to book an appointment a few days ahead. Dr James was very gentle and refilled tooth perfectly - maybe even better than my usual dentist!! Excellent dentist 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: The service and care at this Dental practice was terrible! They write you out an Appointment Card but then don't book you in!! They have no interest to help you when you're in pain and suffering with a bad toothache! Also, reliable reports inform they use second hand Dental equipment!! They also have a high staff turnover!! The Staff member who wrote down my Appointment on an Appointment Card on Friday afternoon, was no longer working there on the following Monday! My booked Appointment was either somehow lost or removed off their computer records!! A second staff member who previously left there is working at another local business! Suggest be very aware and consider other options.

Fantastic experience: This long established business/clinic is starting to show its age. However, the new dentist Dr. James is a class act. Extremely caring and very professional. Don't be put off by the entrance and décor. Well worth booking an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth on holidays and struggled to find a dentist appointment, the girls went above with customer service and the dentist was so kind and gentle, I certainly felt like a patient not a number. If I lived in Port Augusta I would ensure that the dentist was my permanent one. Thanks again

Positive experience: Dr James Ha is a miracle worker he managed to make me feel comfortable and confident in what he had to do for me. Nothing was too much trouble and his dental nurse was also pretty good in using the mouth suction always had it in the correct position that I never gagged. Let’s face it who likes going to the dentist, well I’m telling you if you have to go at all try them you won’t be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Late Review: My practitioner was extremely kind, understanding, patient and highly professional. Can absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone. The lady who was the assistant trainee was also very lovely I think her name was Shuanna. Lovely reception staff.

Positive experience: I had a filling replaced here by James. Great work. No x-ray or anesthetic - just a ten minute job. $420. No wonder so many people from Port Augusta have missing teeth.

Fantastic experience: Always a very good experience. They got me in at short notice today as I had concerns about my recent extraction, and I wanted to get it checked before the weekend. I get nervous at dentists but Dr James Ha is very good at patients at ease.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience at this dental practice! The dentist is so friendly and was very fast and efficient at removing my wisdom teeth. The two lovely girls at the practice were kind and professional and answered all my questions

Negative experience: This dental surgery is inflexible, uncaring and irresponsible. My brother, who has mental health issues, received some dental treatment without realising what the cost would be. Now he needs $10000, by paying $100 per week, and this is a huge chunk of a disability support pension. I contacted them and they are refusing to budge on the amount of the repayment to make it more reasonable. The dentist and his receptionist claim to understand mental health issues, but there is no sign of this in their rigid approach. Now they are taking us to a collection agency. No compassion or humanity to see here. Update: I was contacted with an offer to halve the payments IF I took this review down. I told them that sounds like BLACKMAIL and that I was only stating the facts. Now they are going through a third party and I am taking them to the Human Rights Commission for discriminating against a person with a disability.

To the most lovely genuine ladies at reception who couldnt do enough for me to a caring dentist who was happy to discuss all options. As a very nervous patient I would highly recommend this practice. Fantastic experience: My experience at Port Augusta Dental Care was the first visit to dental clinic in Australia, and it was absolutely amazing. I usually associate dental clinics with scary dental clinic devices and painful local anaesthetic injections; however, I find Port Augusta Dental Care very welcoming and friendly to the patients/ customer. The Nurse Shenaye was very welcoming and understanding even though I was running late from my work- I was the last patient at the dental clinic. She was very polite and was patient with me throughout my visit to the clinic. I was a bit worried with my teeth condition because I haven’t been to the check-ups for a long time; however, Dr. Ha was very kind enough to explain my teeth condition in lay terms so I could understand. Teeth cleaning/ teeth scaling process was carried out very safe, smooth and efficient. I felt well looked after and I was extremely happy after my treatment result. I am planning on my next visit for an x-ray sometime soon. Thanks to the Port Augusta Dental Care team!

Fantastic experience: I have a severe phobia of dentist. This dentist made me feel comfortable and let me set the pace and did nothing without asking me first. They explained everything and answered all my questions without making me feel like a nuisance. I’m definitely returning as a dentist like this is a like finding a pot of gold at the rainbow.

From the warm welcome when entering the clinic, sitting in the chair and to the warm goodbye when leaving ensures a calm, no fuss experience. Dr J Ha has a calming and reassuring presence who always maintains a caring but professional demeanour throughout the dental treatment leaving me feeling like I am valued as a person, not just another client. The clinic itself is outstanding in cleanliness and this is evident from the reception room to the treatment rooms. I highly recommend if you feel a bit nervous about dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: I've been a customer for both emergency work and extensive dental work for the past 10 years. Over this period this dental surgery has had a variety of staff but in all instances they've been efficient, polite and something not often associated with dentists, pleasant. In my experience it's no coincidence that this high calibre of staff, customer service and friendliness exists. The people at the top hire people who fit in with their own credo. Those principles flow down the employer /employee chain. My experiences with this dental practice fill me with confidence that no matter whom is the dentist or dental nurse etc of the day, they'll be excellent, helpful and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: I was suffering severe pain having an absess and rotten tooth and they fitted me in for the same day. I was a little anxious and both the dental nurse and dentist were wonderful and calmed me down and I was at ease. I was impressed that a TV was on ceiling to watch and fruity Berry mouthwash, much better than normal soft mint. I would recommend this dental surgery to anyone.
