Riverside No Gap Dental

Negative experience: 9 minutes total in the chair for my son's "check up and clean" today. No aftercare advice, no recommendations, no care. Just rushed in and out. The dentist was running behind and that's fine, but it's not fair to make-up that time by rushing through my son's 6 monthly check up and clean and obviously still charging full price. The glasses and bib were whipped off him so quick after the dental assistant slapping on some thloriod, that his mouth was still full of dried up residue from whatever was put on before that. He had to walk out of the dentist and straight around to the public toilet to rinse his mouth out. I'm sure from memory he wasn't supposed to eat or drink for 30 minutes after, but no instructions or after-care was told to him anyway or even the time or care to rinse his mouth and let him wipe it clean before rushing him out the door. Really disappointed, my family of 4 won't be returning again after being patients for 6 plus years. Waste of time and money.

Negative experience: So I have been back since my last dentist left and I saw a new dentist at the same practice. To have a clean and polished done I was in the chair for about 15 to 20 minutes. I felt like he was trying to push my teeth out of my head. After my very brief clean and polish, I was informed that I have stage two gum disease however there Has been no problem with my teeth or gums in the many visits prior to this. I have my teeth checked every six months never had an issue, However, this dentist was very rough and unfortunately I will now have to find a new clinic to go to.

Fantastic experience: As someone with severe dental anxiety and avoids going to the dentist at all costs, I was recommended this dental practice. I have never left a dentist feeling so relieved and pleased that I went. The Dr listened to my concerns, was incredibly gentle and talked me through everything. The pricing is very competitive, I had been quoted much more for the same work at other local dentists. I am actually looking forward to returning and getting the work done. Dr James was gentle and has really cured my fear of dentists. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who suffers dental anxiety.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this business enough, they are so incredibly kind and helpful, instead of going straight to a root canal and a crown they do what they can to rebuild your damaged tooth. This is now the 4th tooth they have filled in to replicate the damaged tooth to the point you wouldn’t know the tooth had a filling it’s incredible and highly appreciated. I just went in with a tooth I thought 100% would have to be pulled but they removed the decayed area and rebuilt the tooth with filling and charged a very reasonable price. Thank you!!!!!

Negative experience: My vist was great but my wifes not so much he immediately put the cricket on half watching and half working on the wife for all of 5 minutes Both my wife and I have had wisdom teeth taken out by these literal saints. Amazing group of doctors and nurses literally life savers.

She took out two of my wisdom teeth and the pain was minimal and they healed quite quickly without any hassles, she did an amazing job! She was very professional and put me right at ease and answered all my questions. Would recommend her to anyone looking to get any dental work done.

He is very proffesional and is happy to answer questions etc. The whole experience of this practice has been brilliant! Fast email replies, no long waits on hold on the phone and no long waits in the waiting room.

She gave a local injection which I had heard could be very painful, and it was barely a prick, she did an amazing job! She was very professional and approcable, answered all my questions. Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth removed by DR SHAZNEEN RAHMAN! She was absolutely amazing through the whole process! Dr shazneen kept me calm and I had hardly any swelling. I was able to go back to work with in two days. I put having them off for years but would have had them taken out sooner if I had of known the experience.

Negative experience: This is the worse practice in Launceston. We took our 2 kids for a checkup, where our 10 year old girl was told she needed a filling. So booked in and 2 months later she had the filling done. She had pain that night but thought nothing of it, 6 months later as pain would come and go we went back in thinking it was the tooth behind coming through. But it wasn’t, it was the tooth this practice has damaged drilling too far by and oral hygiene therapist, not a dentist at all. Now they are saying it’s not uncommon that kids get a root canals, my response is how can a tooth that’s meant to last a life time being a molar only last 3 years? . It’s going to cost $3400 for a root canal and the No Gap won’t cover the cost for this life long damage they directly caused. Don’t risk your kids going here or your self

She listened to my concerns carefully and was thoughtful about how to make my visit as comfortable as possible. A great dentist makes all the difference. I hope she stays permanently!

Fantastic experience: I have anxiety and panic attacks so going to the dentist to get a wisdom tooth pulled was really scary for me. They were really good, told me when the tooth was out and that they just had to do stitches ect. It will be a lot easier and less scary to have my second pulled. Negative experience: I booked my revisit appointment in months ago, they then just said that it had to be reshuduled which was fine, I called them, the receptionist then said they can't see me for 3 months. I think its absolutely digusting they didn't make room for me as they reshuduled my appointment. Very poor business ethic. Not happy at all and will not be coming back.

Negative experience: My experience was a negative experience due to the add on selling without any negotiation and explanation of additional costs involved...The name "No Gap Dental' is false advertising as my private health did not cover the cost of the filing. This was a very expensive exercise and I will be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Wonderfully understanding staff. Made an aging totally freaked out scaredy-cat handle being there a lot easier. Thirty years since a dentist visit was a monumental occasion. While we cannot always control reflex reactions, they coped very well with mine. Their service was immensely appreciated. Thank you.

Negative experience: Firstly, As being a health professional, i have never given bad review in my 11 years carrer for someone. I had a twice appointment with Penny because of mine sensitivity on my tooth. Initial, she told me i dont have to do Root Canal Treatment ( RCT), and she filled my tooth, and rip me off approximately $600 from my pocket. And, soon after tooth treatment, i got more sensitive than before and again i took second appointment, this time she told me i have to do RCT and charging again $90 , just spending 10 min only talking and cold test on my tooth. She doesn't have any knowledge what exactly tooth need the treatment. In my experience, she is the wrost dentist i have ever seen in my life.
