Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for the level of care I have received at Sarina Dental, from the entire staff. I have always been an anxious dental patient after a particularly traumatic experience many years ago in a different country, so going to the dentist frightens me because I think I’ll be hurt or held down. Dr Rob works with a high level of patience, expertise, communication and understanding - there is no judgement, and most importantly no confusion as to what he’s doing because he tells you step by step - and even reminds me to stop holding my breathe! Dr Rob you don’t realise how invaluable you are, and how much you make people like me feel like less of a burden, thank you.

Fantastic experience: We had gone through 4 dentist before we found Brittany. My son has now been seeing her for a couple of years now and she is the most patient, amazing Dentist. My son is very anxious and impatient, she has always taken the time to talk him through everything and show him how all the tools work etc. She is wonderful, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a pt at Sarina Dental for many years now, & over time ÷ various dentists, I have found them all to be extremely professional. All of the receptionists have been excellent. Katie, Jodie, & Ash, currently are the best receptionists for friendliness, followup care, & doing all they can, when dealing ÷ you're medical needs prior to seeing the Dr. Dr Rob has been absolutely professional, & exceptional ÷ all of my treatments, & followups. He has answered all of my questions, & attended to my disability ÷ respect, & ÷out prompting to assist when/if necessary. He has a pleasing personality, & I can truely recommend Dr Rob McRae for all of your dental needs.

Negative experience: Paid over 2k in advance to have 7 top teeth removed. Assured that ALL teeth were out. Suffered pain in top gum for 3 years. Only for half a tooth to be rejected out through the side of my gum. Complaints went nowhere. Not there responsiblity apparently, since that particular dentist left the practice. They wanted full price of $290. Removed by another dentist for half that price. Not recommended ever. Go to Totally Smiles in Mackay instead.

Negative experience: Without a doubt the worst experience of my life. So called Dr Rob caused so much trauma to my jaw that I was unable to eat solid food for weeks. 2 trips to the hospital and now on going treatment to try and get my mouth to open at my own cost. When I rang the dentist to inform him of the problems he caused he didn't even have enough integrity to make a phone call back to me to have a conversation about the problem. Not a dentist definitely a butcher. Now possibly months of treatments to get my jaw functioning correctly again . Discussed by this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous dental patient who has had bad dental experiences in the past but at sarina dental I was made to feel very relaxed and comfortable every step of the way which made a big difference. No pain felt whatsoever. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: I was charged $388 for a check-up, clean, polish and 2 x-rays. Nothing wrong with my teeth at all. Sure, the staff might be great, but seriously, this is price gouging. I think that the "affordable prices" headline on their website must be tongue-in-cheek. I won't be going back.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The team at Sarina Dental are amazing. I had to call into the surgery in an emergency situation on a recent road trip. With no appointment but obviously very distressed and in a great deal of pain, the wonderful staff came immediately to my aid, set up a room and took x-rays while waiting for Dr Rob to leave another patient to come to my aid. I left the surgery an hour later, armed with antibiotics and with the pain and swelling considerably reduced. The kindness, care and professionalism of every single member of this team is to be commended. I particularly appreciated the hand-holding and the follow up phone call the next day checking in the see how I was. Thanks to all who assisted me that day.

Fantastic experience: I have been under the dental care of this clinic for some time now, but after yesterday's appointment, I am super impressed. Dr Priya handled my wisdom tooth extraction like a true professional, it wasn't traumatic like other extractions I have had elsewhere in the past, and my extraction anxiety was beautifully handled. All staff in this surgery are friendly, calming and professional. I won't go anywhere else.

The darling on reception is an absolute delight, as was Dr Priya Balnaves and her assistant Grace. I am not a very good patient but they were both gentle, caring and thorough. Would not hesitate to recommend.
