Fantastic experience: Dr. Ivan is extremely skilled and friendly. I had 4 wisdom teeth and a few cavities filled by him and he is patient driven and spends a lot of care in informing you on the process and the reasoning behind the best course of action. He is also very patient and skilled when removing difficult teeth, ensuring the teeth are removed safely and with care. My healing journey was fast with as minimal pain you can expect from removed teeth.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended- Updated review-Feb 2025: For so many years, I had issues of teeth grinding; and very limited mouth opening which made any dental procedure hard to undertake. The teeth grinding later on resulted to terrible headaches whenever I wake up. Dr Tan provided my customised mouth guard. It resolved my problem of teeth grinding, no more head aches and my mouth opening improved a lot. I am so grateful to Dr Tan and his team. Fantastic experience: Had four wisdom teeth extracted with Dr Ivan on Saturday under local. Dr Ivan puts you at ease really quickly, no nonsense humour that makes the dentist less scary. Heard lots of horror stories about wisdom teeth removal (your head will be tossed around! They lean on you and they’ll elbow you! Your entire face will bruise!) but it was nothing like that! Super professional, gentle and careful. Dr Ivan let me listen to my own music and ensured I had lots of pain management. Very minimal soreness after, Dr Ivan provided me a med cert and carers certs for my partner. Used a Groupon deal to book which helped with the overall cost, in a world with no dental covered by Medicare it’s a great option! Couldn’t recommend the entire clinic more, this will definitely be our go to dentist. Dr Ivan even sat down and showed me the teeth after, comparing them to the x-ray and explaining the whole procedure. I find that clarity really comforting, sometimes with doctors it feels like it’s all like a scary mystery. Censored photos for proof!

He has performed restorative and corrective procedures on my child's teeth, including, surgically difficult wisdom teeth extractions in a day, especially, when the wisdom teeth haven't erupted in a teen. The procedure was tedious in anticipation, but Dr. Tan explained everything throughout the procedures. He is always happy to answer any questions and is exceptionally warm and friendly to children, which helps their confidence to sit through such procedures. The staff at the SSDS are very friendly and they are very systematic with the after cares and follow ups. A lovely team of professionals!

Fantastic experience: We had taken appointment with Dr. Ivan Tan for my wife's wisdom tooth extraction. My wife has anxiety issues and was initially scared to undergo the surgery. Dr. Ivan Tan was very patient with us handled the situation very nicely. He even gave us time to discuss and decide if we want to proceed with surgery. It was a very critical surgery, given the location of the tooth and our previous dentists suggested to go for an experienced surgeon. Dr. Ivan Tan is very experienced and gentle and had done the surgery painlessly. As the surgery was critical it took more than 1 hr 15 mins, but he patiently treated my wife and successfully performed the surgery. We are very happy with his experience and skills and would recommend him to all.

Fantastic experience: so fortunate to have met Dr Ivan to remove my wisdom tooth. they were grown horizontally and really close to my nerves, met many dentist who told me that there is a risk of touching my nerves while extracting my tooth which can result in sequelae. however, Dr Ivan was very confident in his skills and indeed he removed all four of my wisdom tooth on the chair with great ease. I am recovering well now and only took pills to ease the pain on the first night after removing my tooth. i am extremely scared of needles and very sensitive to pain but Dr Ivan kept reassuring me and updating me on his progress during the extraction. felt very safe in his hand, definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth infection which caused some extricating pain. I went to my local dentist who told me I needed my wisdoms removed. He recommended with my teeth to do it under GA. I called his referral and the wait was over 3 months. I instead searched on Google and found Dr Ivan Tan and his team who booked me in ASAP. I have to say I’ve never heard a dentist recommend to remove all four under the chair but this guy is something different. He is so calm, measured, patient and most importantly reassuring. Let’s not kid ourselves, its not the best feeling but I know for a fact if I went elsewhere it’d be much worse. He knew exactly what he was doing to perfection. My jaws feel good and I’m feeling surprisingly pain free. I strongly recommend Dr Ivan Tan to anyone who has a small mouth, anxious about going to a dentist and someone who has a lot of questions because this guy will put all the time in the world for you. Fantastic experience: Co-workers of mine had horror stories of getting their wisdom teeth removed, from recommending to be put to sleep during the procedure to having an extremely painful and prolonged recovery. This was not my experience. I had two wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Ivan, with one of them being a complex extraction. The surgery itself was painless and did not require general anesthesia. Recovery was fairly quick and the pain was manageable - owing to the expert skills of Dr. Ivan. Would highly recommend this clinic even though it's a bit far (took me 2 hours by public transport). A tip for those going through a similar procedure - if you have to remove multiple wisdom teeth, stick to one side, so that you can eat food with the other side.

As someone with dental issues all my life, I've seen my fair share of dentists and none have even come close. Fantastic experience: One of the best clinics , dentist and staff I have ever visited! I have only ever had sleep dentistry done due to my dental fears. On this occasion I couldn’t because I’m pregnant and was in so much pain. I cried so much in the chair and both staff and DR Tan approached me in the most caring and professional manner! I have never ever felt so comfortable in 40 years! I will never see another dentist again, and neither will my family. Thankyou again for making me have faith in myself to sit in a chair again.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for accommodating myself during a dental emergency, late in the evening. Honestly this is by far, the most comfortable dental experience I have ever had. The Dentist was friendly, empathetic, made me feel at ease, knowledgeable and has an excellent skillset. From the moment I contacted the clinic to the actual dental procedure, everyone went well and above to ensure I was taken care of. After contacting at least 20 emergency dental services to no avail. (Despite stating and advertising they were 24 hour emergency dentist's). Despite the fact it was 7pm on a Friday, I was told to come straight in and the dentist would not leave for the day until I was treated. Clinic staff members displayed excellent customer service skills and were friendly, understanding and diligent. Dental fees are very reasonable and they didn't take advantage of the fact that I was desperate for relief. I definitely and wholeheartedly recommend this dental practice. The best dental experience and would not ever go to see another dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am new to Mill Park and was looking for a new dentist, I found Dr Tan and could not be happier. He was welcoming, gentle, thorough, explained everything in great detail and I just felt I was in great hands. The BEST clean I’ve ever had. The clinic is state of the art and all the staff are amazing 10 stars !!!

Fantastic experience: We had terrible experience at Royal Dental Hospital, we approached Signature Smile after the incident, and they went out of the way to resolve the issue on a Sunday after hours at no additional cost. My wife's wisdom tooth was damaged by Dental Hospital and half stuck in the gum with excruciating pain and nobody wanted to touch it. Dr Ivan at signature smile performed excellent procedure and fixed up all the mess while taking out her wisdom tooth. We would not go to any other dentist or hospital again. I would highly recommend this service as they are highly experienced, professional, and provide after care and follow ups at no additional cost. There is no better Dentist in the town other than this service.
