Fantastic experience: I always have a positive, professional experience at Mosman Fine Dental, especially under the care of Dr. Tran. At 31, I needed gum grafts due to genetic gum recession—an issue that, if left untreated, can lead to further exposure of the tooth root, sensitivity, and even tooth loss over time. Dr. Tran made the entire process remarkably comfortable—I was genuinely relaxed during the procedure and even found myself dozing off. Recovery involved about 10 days with protective shields and stitches. The only downside was the irritation from the shields on both sides of my palate and needing to be selective with food to avoid disrupting the grafts—but otherwise, recovery was smooth. I only took Panadol for the first few days and didn’t find it necessary after that. I had two grafts done simultaneously, which made healing slightly more involved, but I appreciated being able to address the issue in one go. Ten weeks on, I’m healing beautifully, and the results already look like a success. If you’re experiencing gum recession, I highly recommend this procedure—it’s a proactive, effective way to protect your oral health long-term, and with a skilled dentist like Dr. Tran, the experience can be far more manageable than you’d expect.

Fantastic experience: For me personally dental work is extremely invasive. Having someone’s hands in your mouth whilst under bright lights is not the kind of thing I voluntary sign up for. Never have I felt so taken care of by a Dentist as I did by AJ. The journey of my implant was over 3 and half years - there were complications due to recession of the gum that had occurred over 21 years, and step by step with patience and precision AJ resolved a problem that the dentist expected to occur 21 years prior when I had the accident which destroyed my front tooth. I now have a front crown that is perfect. Highly recommend AJ, not only for his precision and care, but for his extraordinary team. The customer service is top notch - the level of service each team member brings to the experience made my experience just that much more easeful.

Very modern practice with a TV to watch on the ceiling while undergoing the checkup which was a surprise! Fantastic experience: I have had a fear of dentists for ages and I say upfront on this review that I have no affiliation with MFD other than being a patient. I had some work done in December and could not praise the work of Dr Andrew Prideaux enough and actually left a review at the time. I do believe in giving credit where credit is due and yesterday I saw their dental hygienist. Again, never loving these visits, I was hesitant but I have to say the Geve was absolutely so kind, so professional, so interested and did a great job. The equipment they have invested in make visits like this a breeze. I have never had such a pleasant visit. Really worth trying these guys. Their service on the desk is also outstanding.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Mosman Fine Dental for bi annual check ups and hygiene appointments for over 3 years now. The experience from the moment you walk in is calming and welcoming. The receptionists are always kind and patient and take the time to connect with you on a personal level. The dentists and hygienists are wonderful and the practise is always spotless. I recently had a fibroma (small bump in my Lower lip) surgically removed by Dr Aden Tran. I was extremely anxious about the procedure and had put it off for 3 years! Dr Aden was extremely informative, answered all my questions and set my expectations. The procedure was a lot less painful than I thought and I think that comes down to the fact that I knew exactly what to expect. My recovery was smooth sailing (I was able to talk and eat normally within the first 24 hours) I just had by post op check in and biopsy results and only wish I had attended to this much sooner! Fantastic experience: Not being one to write reviews, this one I feel necessary. I have been seeing Dr Andrew Prideaux as a patient for many years. He has always afforded me the best professional care. Treatment options are always discussed,diagnosis always defined and together we appropriate a suitable treatment plan.The final decision being left up to me. Knowledge and skill are very important requisites for a dentist. Andrew has both. Along with the supporting staff, I have always been treated with the utmost care and compassion. I highly recommend MFD .

Negative experience: I attended the practice in January 2020. I saw Dr Andrew Prideaux for a routine check. The service appeared to be professional and friendly on the surface. However, I have never had any major work done on my teeth. I have never needed to nor has it been recommended by other dentists I have used. My previous and subsequent dentists are of the opinion that my teeth do not need any maintenance work done on them; they are good and strong. However, Prideaux recommended some work costing roughly about 1 000 AUD (estimate) that in his opinion I should get done on the teeth. I prefer to get as little work done on my teeth as possible unless it's necessary for the health and well being of the teeth. I found the suggested treatment plan by Mosman Fine Dental to be over the top and a waste of money. My service was in my opinion an over-service. Also, I indicated at the appointment that I had already got my teeth x-rayed for that year, however Prideaux then utilised a much more advance x-ray (or scan) ("at a more advanced cost"). Thank goodness I got two other opinions from a Sydney and South African dentist (the latter dentist I have used for annual routine checks for a number of years). Both have opined that the work is not necessary for the health of my teeth. I won't be going back to MFD.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Aden Tran for well over ten years. I recently had Invisalign to straighten my teeth and then a series of crowns and veneers to improve my smile. Owing to Aden’s superior dental skills combined with his finely tuned aesthetic sense I have a result that I am delighted with. The bonus has always been that Aden is gentle and explains every procedure in detail-there are no surprises! This coupled with the fact that Aden has a warm, engaging and reassuring personality which inspires you with confidence makes him a standout! I cannot speak highly enough of him and his staff.

Fantastic experience: Changing lives: the review is specifically for Dr. Aden Tran. I've brought my 70 year old mother for urgent first consultation. She has been impacted by poor dental implants and creative surgeries for more than 40 years. As a result her initial status was very poor. Dr. Tran has provided options for considerations and walked us through implications, risk, benefits in order to make the right decision. He was available well outside consultation appointments and demonstrated not only a superb dentistry knowledge, but also a patient and human consideration that instils confidence on the procedure. The overall result is fantastic - and frankly still difficult to appreciate how the whole process of an all-on-X could be completed within 2 weeks from our first appointment. Fantastic experience: The most passionate, caring, detailed, meticulous, knowledgable dentist I have ever been to! I located Mosman fine dental originally (many years ago) after I had a filling go wrong with a local dentist, 2.5 hrs in the chair, I had fallen asleep in surgery.. completely painless experience (not a single gasp for air as their staff managed my 'saliva' with accuracy & great timing). The outcome, they saved my tooth from root canal work, and being ripped out after it had rotted away so bad from a recent filling! I used them for a crown later on, and their work was faultless. I have since moved away and sadly had another bad experience from a local dentist (trust me this is the last time I will use a local dentist although I am sure there are many good ones, just super sad I missed picking those ones). Back to Mosman Fine Dental, where Aiden spent close to 2 hours with me, detailing the problems, and solutions he can provide to correct the damage created by a not as experienced dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr Tran is amazing! I have seen him a few times now, and just yesterday had a removal of a wisdom tooth. He is fantastic, calming, explains the 'why' behind the 'what' he is doing during procedures. I honestly can say he is the best dentist i have ever had!!

Fantastic experience: I went through two implant surgeries with Dr. Aden Tran and both have been like miracle. I had zero pain (other than second injection of three which was a bit painful) although I have a kind of phobia of dentistry things (why don’t they build their dentistry bloody stuff in more friendly colours like green or purple rather than this plain scary metallic steel whatsoever?!!) One year after my first implant I am now 100% happy with my new tooth and I’m in the mid of the second one. I strongly recommend Mosman Fine Dental and of course Dr. Aden. I’d like to thank Dr. Tirza Harley who had a major role in fixing my “very bad teeth” too. The way she treated me was the kindest with full understanding of all my fears and hesitations. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Andrew Prideaux and the entire team at MFD! I had my front tooth knocked out in an accident and was trembly concerned about how my smile would look with a crown. Absolutely perfect is how! after Andrew, Hugo and co had finished. I have been to many dentists over the years, but Andrew and his team are quite simply the most professional, friendly and talented. They do not stop until you are happy! I also had my teeth whitened in the chair The lovely team were so calming through the whole process - over and above service. I’m My children are booked in and I highly recommend MFD and Andrew’s team.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for many years - you are always treated like royality - everyone is gentle and respectful, and they offer many pain-free solutions to all services - even just a cleaning - which is important for a tooth-wimp like me! Definitely not cheap, but worth it for the excellent level of care. I love their (American) system of having a hygenist clean your teeth thoroughly first before the dentist comes in, instead of just a quick-clean from the dentist. My teeth always come out shining.

Fantastic experience: Andrew and Melody and the team at MFD run a very well organised, friendly and above all extremely professional practice, I rate them very highly along with my wife and my son who went through the braces program with major success. Melody Tajalli is a miracle worker, if you are as fearful as I am about dental hygiene then Melody is for you, considerate, pleasant and extremely patient with people like me that are not super keen on getting their teeth cleaned especially under the gums, she is the best in the business by a mile, i know as I have run from plenty

He explains everything, the cause of pain, symptoms at the moment, how any why for the treatment/operation, and precautions for the future. Finally I found the dentist for my life. Fantastic experience: Andrew has been my dentist for nearly 25 years. The level of trust and confidence I have in Andrew's expertise and care for my teeth and oral health is such that I now travel around the world to see him! After some traumatic experiences at the dentist in my childhood and teens, I first consulted Andrew because he understood and "catered for cowards"! I cannot recommend Mosman Fine Dental more highly. The professionalism and quality of care, from the arrival at the front desk through visits to the hygenist and also remedial and corrective dentistry is outstanding.

Fantastic experience: I'm always a bit wary of dentists and spent considerable time researching the best one I could find for myself and my almost 4-year-old daughter. Seeing the glowing reviews of Mosman Fine Dental led me to choose them and I'm so pleased I did. The reception team are the most welcoming I have come across, with enough toys to entertain my daughter to the extent that I had to tempt her away. Dr Aden Tran is an absolute professional who clearly possesses extensive knowledge and experience, working quickly but with precision and confidence. He put my nerves at ease and explained every step of the procedure to alleviate my fears. My daughter loved her experience and is more than happy to return when the time comes. Melody also proved to be an expert Hygienist who is amazing with children and also highly knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: Mosman Fine Dental is by far the best dental clinic I've ever experienced. I was amazed by how skillful my doctor Andrew's treatment technique. I had my tooth extraction done within 5 seconds and what more incredible was that it was painless even after going back home. His confidence, the care and friendliness from the entire team in the clinic makes me feel that I can only get better. I had two hygiene seesins done by Cathy, and again, they were both unbelievably enjoyable. This is the first time in my life I feel that I can smile showing my teeth, and the first time I mentally and physically feel my teeth are clean so I can talk happily. I found my treatment so far is both mentally and physically therapeutic. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: I have used Mosman Fine Dental for many years and even continued to visit for my 6 monthly hygiene and dental check ups when we lived overseas for 3 years. I recently had a tooth implant involving a sinus lift and bone graft. Understandably, I was quite worried but it turned out the procedure sounded a lot more alarming than the actual experience proved to be. Dr Aden Tran performed the procedure under IV sedation and, happily, I remember nothing about it. There was no pain afterwards and the whole process was reassuringly straightforward. Dr Tran is an experienced and thorough professional who is completely up to date with the latest advances in technology. He also has a very good eye for the best cosmetic outcomes. The staff are helpful and friendly. Over all - a great practice. Very happy customer!

Fantastic experience: After seeing my lower teeth begin to look like a picket fence in a hurricane, I discussed straightening options with Andrew Prideaux, and decided to go with Invisalign (the idea of braces isn't for me). What I've always appreciated about Andrew and MFD is that you get a consistently high level of service and procedures, and very clear explanations around available options. Invisalign is the way to go, the process is simple, the clear aligners are so easy to use, and there really are unobtrusive, some of my friends only noticed I was wearing them after a couple of months. I am in meetings most days, and wore my aligners with no sense of insecurity or being self-conscious that people were looking at my teeth. And the results have been outstanding: straight teeth, only slight and passing pain when using the next set of aligners, and an increasing sense of satisfaction watching my teeth align! The aligners are easy to put on, and take off, after a short while you don't even think about them. I'm so happy with the decision, the process, and the outcome, huge thanks Andrew and the MFD team for such a positive experience!
