Fantastic experience: Saw Dr Nikka for a regular check up and clean. She was thorough and answered all my questions and offered advise on caring for my teeth long term. Very knowledgeable and will be seeing her again for further care. Great atmosphere and professional practice. Will be recommending to friends and family.

Negative experience: Needed my wisdom extracted as I was in excruciating pain,they x-rayed me and told me i had to wait two weeks for an available appointment. Did not prescribe me any pain killers. Went to another dentist and had it removed that day as it's a very quick procedure,a complete lack of duty of care. Seems like the typical cosmetic practices that are money hungry.

Fantastic experience: We visited as a family and saw Frank. He immediately put my six year old at ease and she had a thorough examination and clean whilst learning about whales on the TV above her ! Frank was proactive in dealing with my issues without over doing it and I would recommend him as an excellent dentist for all ages.

Fantastic experience: I went for my wisdom tooth removal after a recommendation from my family friend to Stanley Dental and it was a miracle. I was so nervous because my past experience with the wisdom tooth removal was very traumatic. As soon as I enter an admin staff was so welcoming, I had to wait for a little while but it was all worth it. Dr. Siamak was hilarious, he comforted me at all times during the surgery and telling me how brave I was. I didn’t even felt any pain, it was very easy. Post surgery, I managed with just 1000mg of paracetamol and that’s all. I didn’t had to take any analgesia which I think was a miracle and my gums was healed within a week. I am very thankful to all the nurses who helped me during my surgery . You were all great. Thank you Subi for the recommendation. Couldn’t be more grateful.

Fantastic experience: Frank is a fantastic dentist. It's a very clean and modern office. Everyone is professional and welcoming. I really don't like going to the dentist but I feel comfortable here so thank you! I've had teeth cleaning, fillings replaced, and got a new mouth guard to stop grinding my teeth - the mouth guard was fitted using 3D imaging rather than the goopy stuff that chokes you for a minute and it's much more comfortable to wear than my old one.

Fantastic experience: Frank and the staff are very profession and helpful, they were able to help my intellectual disabled brother overcome his fear of the dentist chair to receive the fillings he needed. This was only possible because of their genuine and caring tailored communication / approach. Frank is a great communicator, he keeps the mood light and always good for a laugh, which was perfect for my brother - Frank managed achieve more over two consultations with my brother than we were able to achieve in years via the public dental special needs service. Fantastic experience: I am currently going through the process of having my teeth straightened by Dr Frank using invisible braces. The procedure so far has required me to have 3 teeth initially removed and then followed up by regular appointments to make sure that the braces are doing their job. Throughout the whole process I've been very happy with all the staff there and the practice itself is bright and modern with parking right outside, which makes visiting a lot less of a chore.

Frank and his team were so kind to reach out and tell me they thought they could make some improvements because they’ve been keeping up on the latest tech and their reception/nursing staff were super polite and flexible to get me in on a Saturday. Awesome clinic, so glad I got my invisalign done here!

Fantastic experience: As an extremely nervous and sensitive patient I would highly recommend seeing Paul at Stanley Street. I’ve been twice now and I’m so impressed. The atmosphere of the practice is calming and extremely clean. The receptionists are welcoming, the dental assistant is lovely and Paul is patient and caring. They are transparent regarding costs before providing treatment, I don’t have private health, so I greatly appreciate this as it avoids any surprises. Just booked a checkup for 6 months.

Fantastic experience: Perfect place to take your kids. If you have young children that need a dental check up, I highly recommend going to see Frank. In the waiting room before our appointment, the secretary saw that my 4 year old was nervous so she brought a big bag of toys which totally distracted him and made him happy. When we went in, after 30 seconds in the chair he was so comfortable after being shown a puppet and counting with him all the teeth he had. Frank was very kind, fun and patient with him. There is a huge screen to watch any cartoon up above while Frank was checking and cleaning his teeth. It’s a very modern and clean place. My son had such a positive experience that I’m sure he will look forward to the next visit.

Negative experience: NERVOUS PATIENTS BEWARE I chose Stanley Street Dental due to it's proximity and high rating, unfortunately it was the wrong dentistry for me. I advised when I booked I was a nervous patient, and again when I was sitting in the chair. The first meeting was a check where the dentist did very little to reassure me about the procedures to come, went on to the worst case scenario very quickly and had a very patronising tone (alike I was a child). I returned to get some work done and the above wasn't much better, however it became worse during the procedure as my airways were not being maintained and I had a gagging episode where I felt like I was drowning. I've had fillings before, even the 'umbrella' technique and nothing like this. I was frightened, and cried and just hoped it would be over soon (just tried to tune out). Again the dentist asked questions like, "do you want to see?" - No! It was very rough, and I imagined I'd be in pain for a few days. After a couple days however, I noticed a rash on my cheek outside of where the procedure had been done. I rang the dentist and they did to their credit get me in straight away to be consulted by my dentist and the other at the clinic. They concluded it was an allergic reaction to the anaesthetic (which I've never had any allergic reaction to before nor am I allergic to anything) and I should go get some antihistamines. I went straight to the pharmacist who told me it was unlike to be an allergic reaction as it was localised on my cheek. On top of that, a day or so after once I started chewing food on that side I found I was now getting nerve pain (alike it was exposed). I again rang the dentist and they fit me in again, where it was explained it was perhaps too shallow. I didn't want to get it fixed then or there, so opted for that was called "the medicine", which was actually simply a temporary filling. The rash is still on my cheek lightly 3 months later, a possible stress reaction to the events of above/potentially a shingles flare according to my doctor when I followed up, and I now again have sensitivity to that tooth, which I will be going elsewhere to fix and pay for. They had said to me "keep us informed/do give us a call", but where was my call from them to follow up on what obviously were mistakes on their end. I've now moved from the area, but will never be coming back.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a dentist who will make you feel comfortable-- Frank is that dentist. For years I've been a reluctant visitor to the dentist (normally a few years apart due to bad experiences) before first visiting Frank back in October. Frank made me feel welcome from the moment I sat in the chair and explained to me clearly that I needed a good clean and two fillings. I felt that comfortable with Frank that I’ve come back recently to get my teeth whitened before my upcoming wedding. There’s only one word to describe what he was able to do with my teeth— WOW! They are soo bright & shiny. I haven’t been able to stop smiling since I had my teeth whitened. Thank-you Frank! :)

Fantastic experience: Full transparency: I am an extremely reluctant dental patient and I have had some pretty ordinary work done on my chompers in the past. Frank is INCREDIBLE! INCREDIBLE. AMAZING. And Lucy is so enthusiastic and lovely and great! I went in recently because I was eating a soft bun and a large piece of my molar chipped off. Cool. Frank saw me straight away, fixed some of the previous work and made sure that I’d be able to eat for a lot of years yet. During that visit, I talked to him about one of my front teeth that had been repaired in a way that made me feel like I was looking at a stranger. It has been a bad vibe for about two years. Frank is such a dental wizard that he fixed it in under an hour and when I saw my cute little face with my cute little teeth sitting pretty, I cried. I also hugged Frank which might have been weird for him. I am going back next week to have a check up because maybe I am not so reluctant now!

He gave me some great advice on my dental woes, and also identified some potential unrelated health issues which I’ve booked an appt with my GP to sort out. Fantastic experience: Easily the best dentist I’ve ever been to! Frank is so friendly and really up front about everything. I have a sensitive area around some of my teeth and he is so careful in making sure he doesn’t hurt me. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing a good job, and I trust him completely. The team are also lovely - it feels more like I’m catching up with friends than going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had to find a clinic after a tooth avulsione and I found this online and I absolutely loved it .... starting from the lady that is at reception ( we always stay a little longer to talk to her because she is very lovely and very nice to talk to) to our doctor Sam which is very professional and competent , he explained very clearly all the risks and all the procedures and I didn’t have any pain after a first treatment of root canal whatsoever , no pain during and no pain after although I have heard is a very painful process I can say that I am very happy with the whole service !
