Fantastic experience: I had the most wonderful experience at NDC North Adelaide Village. The staff were all so pleasant and friendly, from the front desk to the treatment rooms. Dr Ramos was gentle, skilled, honest, compassionate and very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and at ease as he explained my options for future treatment. He took the time to talk to me about my dental health in great detail, which was very much appreciated. Nurse Angela was kind, caring, friendly and clearly very experienced. Her friendly, warm demeanour made me feel instantly calm and at ease. The practice at North Adelaide Village is so light, bright and airy. There is a calm, relaxed yet professional feel. All facilities were extremely clean, comfortable and modern. The state-of-the art technology was a welcome addition; I had never had my teeth charted in such precise detail with such clear photos. It allowed Dr Ramos to identify crucial elements of my oral health that previously were missed at another practice. The dental equipment was quieter than what I have experienced at other practices, and I was able to watch TV as I reclined in the treatment chair. Dr Ramos and Nurse Angela cleaned my teeth in a timely yet thorough manner; even a day later, I can still feel what a rigorous job has been done. It is clear that they are a great team as they worked in sync with each other to get the job done. Free parking below the shopping complex was a lovely added bonus. There were plenty of parks available, and finding the practice was easy. The Piksters pack provided to me upon payment was a lovely surprise. I will be continuing my dental treatment at NDC North Adelaide Village from now on; I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! I highly recommend everyone visit, and strongly encourage you to see Dr Ramos and Nurse Angela. Thank you NDC North Adelaide Village for a transformative experience!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited National Dental care North Adelaide for my daughters and had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Veena. From start to finish the experience was outstanding both professional and genuinely caring. She has been conservative, preventive approach which I appreciated and she didn’t push unnecessary procedures but focused on what was the best for my kids. I definitely recommend Dr Veena she is excellent for adults and children alike.

Fantastic experience: Have been attending the National Dental Care for 5+ years now. Special shout out to Dr Veena, who have taken care of me for years also! Would highly recommend her, she makes me feel comfortable at every visit, explains everything very well and easy to understand, would help calm my nerves when I need to get any needles for treatment . But overall, the staff are all very welcoming and friendly! The new North Adelaide location is beautiful.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rodrigo Ramos is Very Respectful always focusing on talking to me like a friend and not just a patient. As an International student I love coming to Dr Ramos, he makes me feel like home, he's good at what he is doing. Also, Nurse Angela is very lovely, she is very respectful talking to me and really taking care of me when Dr Ramos is working on my teeth. Thanks to both of these professionals.

Fantastic experience: First time experience at this dental practice will remain with me for a long time. As they say, ladies and gentlemen, first impressions matter. Right off the bat, you'll notice a culture customer first from when you walk into their office. After I was pleasantly received by the receptionist, my expectation was the courtesy would end thete. I wss wrong. The dentist and her assistant did not only vare for my teeth, they also made my brief stay with them a memorable one. To cut this story short, they're good at what they do and they just earned another customer. I hope they keep it up that way. That's a major selling point for them.

Positive experience: This is my second visit to NDC North Adelaide since they bought out my original dentist and then moved location. On both occasions I arrived five minutes before my appointment and then had to wait 30 more minutes before I was seen. Once ‘in the chair’ for my check up the process of inspecting and cleaning my teeth was efficient and thorough. However, that I was forced to wait so long is unacceptable. I never used to wait like this under my previous dentist’s business. Two strikes down and one to go before I take my business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional experience. My partner booked his first appointment four weeks in advance and even confirmed by replying “Y” to the SMS reminder. When we arrived, we were told the appointment had been cancelled two days earlier — with no call, text, or email to notify him. This shows a clear lack of basic training, especially around the standard 3-point check that should prevent errors with patients who may have similar names. To then be turned away and told the next available weekend appointment wasn’t until September was unacceptable. Very poor first impression and concerning that such fundamental processes are not being followed.

Fantastic experience: I never thought you’d hear me say this, but I’m looking forward to going back to the dentist! Dr Michael Lucas was friendly, kind and amazing at his job. I had quite damaged bottom teeth and he fixed them beyond what I expected - they look amazing. He talked me through the work that needed to be done and discussed options, all the time trying to keep the cost down. I walked away with a much better smile than I expected and with way more money in my pocket than anticipated! I could not recommend National Dental Centre, North Adelaide more. No more pre dentist worries for me! Thank you - right from reception to dentists, you were kind, compassionate, helpful and friendly!

Fantastic experience: An emergency appointment for root canal done on a Sunday with no fuss and impeccably executed. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt very looked after by Dr Lucy, amazing treatment.

Negative experience: I recently joined AHM top extras and chose NDC today as they're listed as preferred providers, advertising gap-free dental check-ups. I called ahead to confirm with information on my specific needs and was told by both the receptionist and again at the front desk that this consult would be gap-free (excluding Xrays which is fine). After the short consult, I was unexpectedly charged a gap, including $15 for the general consultation code, and was told it couldn’t be waived. It’s definitely not about the money - it’s about the principle. I was planning to make NDC my regular dentist for 6-monthly reviews, but if there’s already this kind of miscommunication or dishonestly over a small fee, and they refuse to fix it, I’m not really confident in continuing care here.

Negative experience: My wife and I visited the NDC a couple of months ago for the surgical removal of her wisdom tooth. We scheduled an appointment and were allocated the final timeslot of the day, with an estimated duration of 1.5 hours for the procedure. However, the surgery extended beyond two hours, and the attending dentist was unable to extract the entire tooth. A small fragment was left behind, and we were advised that its removal would be too risky as it would involve cutting the bone. The procedure was extremely painful for my wife, and even ten days post-surgery, she continued to experience severe pain. Last week, she developed significant discomfort and gum swelling. Upon returning to the same clinic, the dentist conducted an examination and reviewed X-rays, concluding that there was no sign of inflammation or infection. No antibiotics were prescribed at that time. However, the pain intensified shortly after we returned home, prompting us to revisit the clinic the following day. We were then informed that my wife would now need to consult a specialist to complete the tooth extraction, effectively restarting the entire process and incurring specialist-level costs. This experience has been deeply disappointing, as my wife has endured considerable pain and is now required to undergo yet another surgical procedure. Had we been referred to a specialist from the outset, much of this distress could have been avoided. Regrettably, based on our experience, I would not recommend NDC for wisdom tooth extractions.

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a new dentist for a quite a while. It is hard to find somewhere you can trust and rely on. Thankfully, I have finally found my new dental practice. Very impressed with NDC North Adelaide and in particular Dr Ramos. He is thorough with great explanations and a wonderful ‘chair side’ manner. Reception staff are courteous and informative. The hygienists and assistants are also amazing and extremely considerate. The practice is also very transparent with pricing, so there are no unexpected surprises. Great dental practice all round. Bernie made me feel very welcome and offered me a goodie bag of items for free which was very accommodating. Ruby and Dr Shweta did an excellent job with my teeth and took great care during the process. Dr Shweta was very informative and went into great detail on how I can keep my teeth healthy and what to use. I will be returning next week for a filling. All very reasonably priced for the service provided. 5/5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Dentist Frank on Monday. Everything was clearly explained, & I was told during each stage of my appointment what he was doing next. Dentist Frank checked in on me several times that I was ok. Dr Frank's manner will put the most nervous patient at ease I am sure. Dr Frank's Dental Nurse was professional & efficient. The Administration staff were so lovely, very professional, patient & welcoming with all the patients. The overall experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend Dr Frank & this Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: Had my teeth cleaned by Dr. Yao Ng. First time visiting the clinic, Yao did an amazing job being very attentive, highly reccomended. Receptionists were lovely and gave me a new customer goodie bag! The clinic is really clean and nice looking inside too.
