Fantastic experience: I’m so incredibly glad I’ve found Mendelsohn Dental. Dr Saul is knowledgeable, kind and gentle and makes you feel safe and taken care of at all times. He has removed a two very difficult teeth, including a wisdom tooth in the chair for me and it’s been incredibly painless both times with quick recovery. Further to that the staff at the front desk are all lovely and supportive and the whole place has a family feel. I feel very lucky to have found them all.

Fantastic experience: Mendelsohn practice is run by Dr Saul M. & his staff are wonderful. I’m slightly older (their medical records are secret) but first of all the way they treat children at the clinic is fantastic even if it clashes with my calendar however being a child at heart I adore the plush toys and friendly atmosphere even puts me at ease. I live nearby and neglected dental health for more than a few years during my twenties but when I broke a tooth I’d no choice but to face my fears of dentistry and both Saul and Heidi have helped me through it all so I cannot recommend them enough for being friendly, compassionate and easing me back into taking care of my teeth again after a few years of fear and neglect. For anyone with children I can only say if it worked for me they’re more than capable of helping the childhood patients they often see, especially those with anxieties, with any work they might require.

Negative experience: Not a good experience at all. I had a crown done earlier this week. I’ve had many crowns before so wasn’t expecting so much pain. I flinched ( an involuntary reaction to pain whilst the drill was being used) and was told off. Three days later I am still unable to eat anything solid. Not going back to this dentist ever!

Negative experience: I hate giving negative reviews, but I shall do so in the hopes that it may help others and save them from heartache (or possibly toothache, in the longer term). Dr Mendelsohn declared that I required either 4 root canals or tooth extractions. I went to another dentist, who came to a completely different conclusion, using the same scans. Although one of the teeth was too far gone, I'm very thankful that he was able to save the other 3. I've had a new high detail (cone beam) scan since and everything seems well. He concluded that some dentists tend to be a little trigger happy with root canals when they should be used as a last resort. Root canals are essentially killing off the tooth. Yes, they were in less than ideal shape, but the teeth did not have any signs of infection! I don't doubt the quality of Mendelsohn's work, given the reviews from others, but please, if he recommends a root canal, get a second opinion, or two..!

Dr Saul has in-depth knowledge and a get sense of humour. This is now our go-to practice for the whole family. I highly recommend Mendelsohn Dental for children and adults.

Fantastic experience: Randomly searched a dentist for my son's half yearly check up and cleaning, I was really happy I found them! They added a nice little touch by sending postcard bearing his name for the appointment (greatly appreciated) and followed up with a call one day before the appointment. We were really impressed with the whole set up Aleisha explained every step of the way what was expected during the treatment, and made my son felt really comfortable. It was super convenient having his teeth x-ray(ed), pic taken, and cleaned all at the same time. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I've never felt compelled to write a review about a dentist, of all things, but these guys are freakin' incredible. Honestly, I would almost visit just for the atmosphere. I was quite anxious about a wisdom tooth extraction I was having done, but Saul and his team made the whole experience so comfortable. I was expecting to be in a world of pain afterwards but was surprised to find myself back at work and not needing painkillers the following day. These folks are clearly professionals, and they should all be very proud of themselves!
