Fantastic experience: Despite the online appointment hiccups, everything was confirmed via email and phone call the following working day. From the receptionist, dental assistant and dentist, everyone was warm and welcoming and they made my little one's first visit drama free.

Fantastic experience: I came in today not expecting a sudden tooth extraction feeling very anxious. Dr. Naur is always incredibly calming and caring in her approach, which really helped put my nerves at ease. She’s so professional and genuinely reassuring. Tess at the front desk is always friendly, approachable, and willing to help. I was even surprised with a follow-up call from my dentist around 7pm to return my call. Such amazing care! Negative experience: Original review was removed due to threats of legal actions by the management even though they were in the wrong. Not worth the psychological stress and DO NOT recommend them at all.

You were told over the phone that the consult would be $60 and that fillings start at approximately $200, our staff specifically said to you that if we had to do full veneer it could cost up to $500, this was consistently stressed to you as you kept stating it was only a small bit that needed to be fixed. You were also made aware that the dentist needed to assess the tooth and quote you accordingly, this was also noted on your booking for the dentist to review. We work very hard for our community by giving them the best service and treatment around. We are glad we didn’t go ahead with any treatment for you as we are now well aware nothing would have been ‘right’ for you, no matter what we did. If you would like to discuss this further in a private matter, please return our calls. Otherwise, we will be seeking legal action.

Negative experience: They give you a price over the phone for the service asked and then jack up the said price when you arrive. It's okay if the amount is small but I'm not willing to pay twice the price given over the phone. Beware since you'll have to pay an appointment fee of $60 . It's a win win strategy for them to get money out of you.

Fantastic experience: Seeing a dentist was always a nightmare for me until I’ve been treated by Selandra Dental. Dr Noor and Zuzana are two beautiful women! Very friendly, patient, communicative, caring and they explain every step! They fixed my front two broken teeth to a very high professional standard. The procedure was very gentle without any pain and the result is magnificent! I can smile again! From now on I won’t use any other dentist even I’m travelling from Lang Lang! Thank you very much!

Negative experience: My recent dental visit was far from pleasant. Outdated facilities, indifferent staff, and painful procedures made it an experience I'd rather forget. Communication was lacking, and post-treatment care was non-existent. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for dental care please
Hello, we have been trying to work out if you are a actual patient as we can't find either name you have done for you multiple reviews, if you are a patient we would love to chat further to see what could have possibly gone wrong at your appointment. So if you are a real patient please give us a call. Funny you had said we had out dated facilities did you not like our new chairs that we replaced during COVID?? and also you commented on our staff, our staff all get along like a house on fire majority of then are either currently training for their bachelor of dental science at Uni or have been trained as dentists overseas that are working while studying for their ADC exams so not sure about the comment about being indifferent unless its a racial slur (if it was then that's disgusting as we love having a multinational practice). Painful procedures how many of them did you have and what was done? As far as communication we always make sure you leave with the correct information and we always stress to all our patients to call or contact us via chat/msg if they have forgotten anything else to ask.
As you know the dental profession sometimes don't get a very good wrap but remember that we are only fixing what you have done! EG Don't clean and floss well yes your cleans will be uncomfortable because we have to get under the gum to clean and that hurts! Have decay well sorry we have to give you a needle to numb you so we can clean the tooth out without peeling you off the ceiling and we all know needles suck! Needed an extraction well pulling something out of your scull or jaw bone is never a thing anyone would normally get excited about. And yes these things do cost money to have done as unfortunate our government don't rebate or bulk bill adults for Dental work nd considering supplies and education costs us then we do have to cover cost. So yes all in all we have to do some pretty stressful things to people and make them pay a fee for it but we do always try our best to make sure your experience is as comfortable as possible.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here almost 2 years now, and I wouldn't think to go anywhere else. Dr Noor has been fantastic. She is very considerate and thoughtful, and great for a chat (though i tend not to say too much while her tools are in my mouth). I had a few bad experiences in dentist chairs over the years, but Dr Noor has restored my faith in the profession. Thank you!

Negative experience: I had a pathetic experience with this place today especially with reception/billing. There were not enough info given until billing about package and gap fee. When asked this about in billing I was told that they cant take it at this moment as other patients will be coming in. Also, typed the patient name wrongly and when highlighted was not at all apologetic even with having private insurance card handy which got forgotten to handover also until enquired. So harsh with customers and not transparent with giving enough information on treatments.Sorry to say that never to go again..

We are sorry you are not happy but our staff bent over backwards to accommodate you today, there were 2 other people in the room that heard the dentist tell you all the prices and information etc, the receptionist checked your insurance a number of times so you could see what you had to pay out of pocket and went back and forth with your card, and yes the final time was to get the correct spelling of your child's name and the card was handed back immediately after that!(we even have that on CCTV) yes your child's name was spelt incorrectly but that was do to the inability to read the form properly. We work very hard to look after our patients but unfortunately when we do get attitude that is not nice we do tend to not tolerate it!

Fantastic experience: I visited the clinic after 6 years of no treatment. This was due to having 8 extractions as a teenager and a fear of dentists as a result. Dr KAMISETTY was awesome. I needed 2 fillings. She numbed my teeth with an injection. I felt no pain. Although fillings are intrusive, Dr KAMISETTY was patient and understanding of my reservations. I will be back and I want to thank the team for an awesome job and positive experience. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Wow, what an amazing dental practice! I was so nervous, but the friendly receptionist made me feel at ease, she really reassured me. Then the dental assistant that took me into the room was also very lovely had a big smile & was very friendly asking me how my day was. The dentist that I saw was really nice and gentle explained everything about my treatment plan, I’m happy to go back knowing they will take good care of me. I highly recommend this dental practice such a lovely team. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: My teenage son had a tooth pulled after lockdown, he was not in any discomfort, friendly staff were patient and professional. From 1st phone call to end of procedure, we felt supported and comfortable with future requirements. Amazing practice and fantastic staff highly recommended A+++

Negative experience: I would never go back here again and I don't recommend anyone to go . I had an appointment at 10am and had to wait till 10:45 still the doctor busy with other patients I wonder why they ask people to come in 5 to 10 mins earlier before the appointment while we had to wait 45mins . Please do not waste your precious time meeting this clinic.

We are very sorry if we kept you waiting (I hate having to wait for appointments too!), while we always endeavour to run on time and generally we are pretty good at it but unfortunately sometimes things can happen that is completely out of our hands. (I know if I needed extra attention in the chair because of an emergency I wouldn't want to be rushed out)

Negative experience: Worst dentist clinic I’ve ever been to. The receptionist staff are very rude. Spend an hour on the phone just to find my file and for some reason they had made two files under my name and they didn’t even say sorry. I will never go to this clinic again.

Fantastic experience: It had been a while since I'd been to the dentist so I was pretty nervous. Walking in and greeted by Tess who was calming and lovely, I felt at ease knowing that she totally understood my fear and chatted with me until I was called in. Dr Veena was professional and made no judgement. I had a check up and clean. I still hate getting my teeth cleaned but she made it easier and more comfortable. Thank you so much for making my experience so much better.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. They put you at ease from the start and Dr Veena was amazing. Terrified of the dentist but will be going back now as the doctor was so gentle and able to undertake the procedure without any complications. Couldn't find better around the South East.

Negative experience: I'd never go back had a,few teeth removed in my time and she was brutal didn't care communication was good but they don't care and $255 for a tooth removed with no xray is a joke, I'm in more pain now than previously

Fantastic experience: Myself and my children have been coming here for near 6 years and to be honestly I wouldn't take my childrens dental care or my own anywhere else .. Fantastic experience: I have been taking my kids to selandra dental for around 3 years now; Tess who works in reception and assists is so lovely and helpful. The dentists we have seen there have anyway been helpful and non judgmental about any issues that have arisen with the kids teeth. I have and will continue to recommend them to others.

Fantastic experience: Our family has attended Selandra Dentist for a few years now and it is always a great experience!! We take our two girls there (ages 4 and 9) every year for their standard check ups and it is so great for them to enjoy visiting the dentist and having no hesitations to hop in the chair and let the dentist have a look because the staff are so warm and friendly!

Negative experience: Girls on reception needs to learn some customer service skills. She was so rude when I was reschedule my child appointment because of her behaviour just cancelled it. Not going to them again ever.Thanks

Please understand the new time that you wanted had already been taken today, so it makes it hard to reschedule to a later time when we already have bookings made, she had tried to get you in the best she could and even called you back to try to discuss a later time for today when a small spot did came up she even offered you an appointment with the other dentist but you wanted that dentist and that particular time with no compromise. Sadly when we have such late notice of change we cant always accommodate with a new appointment straight away but we do always try our best as our patients satisfaction is very important to us all.
Please note that our cancellation policy does state that any cancellations that occur with out 24hrs notice will incur a $40 cancellation fee in which she didn't impose on you today.
We are sorry you couldn't get in at the time you wanted and please fell free to call us to discuss further if you wish.
