Negative experience: I went as a new patient. Doctor wanted to remove all my filling to see if I had decay. Cost 2500. Not happy. They took an x-ray and charge me when I could get full refund in Medicare. Got a full refund for that. Not going back

Fantastic experience: Smiles Redcliffe is wonderful. Dr Jake has done several procedures for me and was the first dentist who didn't made me cry in nearly fifty years. (Mind you, that wasn't the fault of most of those dentists, but instead due to PTSD from a terrible experience as a teenager.) Anyway, I simply had to express my gratitude to Jake and the team at Smiles today. We had a whole heap of heartache getting a stubborn extraction done and afterwards, I swear to God, Jake was more upset than me! Although he kept it totally pain free, used every intricate device and nuance to get the job done, he clearly still felt as though he'd let me down. That was not the case at all! He's not just a skilled professional, his empathy and kindness is extraordinary. All day I've been thinking about how proud his parents must be! Smiles accepts Qld Health vouchers for poor folk like me and when I needed a denture a couple of years ago they kept prices competitive knowing I was on a budget. If you are fearful of dentists because, let's face it, they are usually sadistic psychopaths, come and see Dr Jake who will change your worldview. :) P.S. Most importantly he laughs at my crappy jokes and sings very nicely...

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Dr Alf Lee and his team for my dental needs over the last 12 months and can’t recommend them enough! Even though I now live across the state, I’ll still fly down to Brisbane to be seen at Redcliffe Smiles. I have always had higher needs as a patient due to sensitivity and my aversion to hearing dental tools working… Since visiting Redcliffe Smiles, Alf has taken out my wisdom teeth, replaced multiple fillings and recently put in a crown for me on a tooth that I thought I would have to loose. During all of this work, Alf and his staff have always taken the time to answer my questions and prioritise my needs around my work commitments. Thanks Redcliffe Smiles!!!!

Dr. Jake takes the time to explain every procedure in a way that is both accessible and reassuring. His straightforward approach and honest recommendations inspire confidence and trust. Equally commendable are the dental assistant and receptionist, whose professionalism and warmth create a truly welcoming environment. Having visited several dental practices in the area, I can confidently say we have found our permanent home for dental care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Yuko is the best! She took the time to explain - in language I could grasp - what she’d be doing and what I’d feel. This same procedure 30 years ago left me with a long recovery and lots of pain, but I feel great and it hasn’t been 24 hours yet. I know technology has improved but it’s the dentist’s communication education at uni that is part of the change. Can’t recommend this practice more!

Fantastic experience: Dr Yuko does my childrens teeth and she is so warm and welcoming and very accomedating. Both of my children are ASD and she is the perfect practisioner :) Dr Alf works on my own teeth and has done several complicated root canals with crowns, I can not have anesthetic so I can legitimately say he is very gentle, professional and accomedating. Dr Jake, works on my wifes teeth and she swears by his work! So all in all, this dentestry comes highly recodmended. Based in North Brisbane, Redcliffe area it is worth the travel knowing you will be surely looked after.

Positive experience: Very professional root canal. As a member of Redcliffe Leagues Club I was slightly disappointed that the 10% advertised on big banners at counter did not apply to most visits. If it doesn’t apply then signs should be taken down or a list of applicable procedures attached.

Negative experience: Scammers! Forced my partner to have unnecessary x-rays taken when he simply went there for a teeth clean. He explained that he didn't have any issues or pain with his teeth. Dentist said it was required. WON'T BE BACK!!
