Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Braeside Dental since 2022 and have seen Dr Leith, Dr Janice March and Dr Eric March. They are all excellent and make you feel at ease. If you need work done like a crown, they discuss all your options and provide a quote. There’s a hygienist, laboratory and dental technicians on site. Most importantly they’re honest and don’t do unnecessary work. When I go for my 6 monthly checkup, if my teeth don’t need a clean, they say so. (My last dentist did a clean, scale, polish and fluoride treatment every six months, whether I needed it or not, which was unnecessary and expensive.)

Fantastic experience: I had a very comfortable experience at Braiside Dental on the 27th May 2025. I was greeted pleasantly in the waiting room, then escorted to the area where I was having my teeth cleaned. Everything was done efficiently, from the cleaning of my teeth, the explanations I received from questions and I was also listened to when I asked or explained something. The equipment, all state of art was impressive and the pleasantness of the hygienist and her dental nurse was gratefully received. Thank you.

What I also like about the practice is the pool of highly qualified dentists, nurses and staff. The practice is also conveniently located close to Launceston CBD with off street parking.

Negative experience: I went to Braeside dental with two great foreign dentists for a few years and was very happy. Last time I went, my dentist had moved away and I saw a different dentist. I went for a check. I was told I needed a clean (which I actually didn't need), I got an xray taken on the chair without consent and without being provided with the cost associated. I was told I was OK, and when I came out to settle the bill I was provided with a quote to remove my wisdom teeth when I don't have any issues with them. I was annoyed about this and requested my xray. This was sent 2 weeks later after insisting with emails. When I received my xray, they included up to the 3rd molar and the wisdom teeth were excluded from the xray. Really profit seeking behaviour without real concern for the patient. Very disappointing from professionals not being professional.

Fantastic experience: I am THE worst dental patient in the world. I moved to Launceston and therefore required a new Dentist. I found Braeside Dental and the reviews were favourable. I went to see Eric. Over four sessions my old fillings were removed and replaced and teeth cleaned. It’s been a tad harrowing for me but Eric and Aisha were fantastic! Can’t recommend enough, really Thank you both.

He listened to me explain my issue, examined my teeth then , talked me through a few scenarios and we agreed on a course of action moving forward.
