Negative experience: Replying to your response to my review Firstly, no one has the right to tell me how I was feeling. I was indecisive because I genuinely didn’t believe I needed a filling, and it turns out I was right. I visited another dentist shortly after, and not only was no x-ray required, but I also did not need a filling at all. My sealant had fallen off and it needed to be replaced. That raises concerns about being potentially overcharged or pushed toward unnecessary treatment, which I had an instinct about at the time. If that’s what you call explaining treatment, then fair enough, but the way another practice explained everything made far more sense, felt more genuine, and didn’t leave me questioning the cost or the care. I 100% felt like I was being upsold with this practice. I also find it highly unprofessional that your reply speaks about my personal situation and tries to downplay my experience. Just because I didn’t express concerns at the time does not invalidate how I felt or what followed after seeking a second opinion. I think it’s important for others to know that getting a second opinion can be valuable, and in this case, it confirmed my concerns.

Fantastic experience: Not having been to a dentist in a long while, years in fact, I was nervous to say the least. After a thorough painless clean, my fears were overcome. Mina and her staff are amazing. Friendly, kind and most important for me, gentle. Of course I needed some fillings, again terror set in. I couldn’t be more wrong. On my second visit, the care given was next level. I was a good patient. (well I think I was) and Mina was a brilliant dentist. I walked out pain free Will I be back in 6 months? - definitely

Fantastic experience: Both my daughters have thier 6 monthly routine checks with Dr Saif. Amazing practice, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate staff. Nothing is a bother, no question to silly. As a parent getting thier children to a dentist is hard, however Coolangatta Dental Group - Highland Park makes it such a breeze. Recommended to many.

Negative experience: I walked out of this appointment feeling pressured, misled, and honestly, quite disrespected. I was made to feel like I had no choice in my own treatment, and every question I asked was brushed off or made me feel dumb for asking. It felt more like a sales pitch than healthcare, and I left feeling anxious and unsure rather than supported or informed. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Coolangatta Dental Nerang enough! The team here are super friendly and really make you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. They’re easy to talk to, explain everything clearly, and don’t rush you through like some other places. Prices are really reasonable too, which is a big plus. You can tell they actually care about their patients, not just the business. I’ll definitely be coming back and sending friends and family their way! So flexible as well with my busy work schedule.

Fantastic experience: This was my 2nd visit to the Highland Park clinic and it was just as good as the first. Wonderful, friendly, thorough and efficient service! Starting from reception through to the dentist Saif & dental assistant. I felt comfortable and relaxed, and they were very friendly. Explained all the processes to me and continually asked if I was doing ok. Another really nice experience at this dental clinic.

Nothing is too much trouble for either of them. Shanae and Taylor complete the HP team and are absolute gems, both valuable additions to the team. They ensure my visits are as comfortable as possible. I would not go anywhere else for my ongoing dentistry needs. Thank you for not moving from the end of my street so that I can still walk there.

I never felt judged by letting my teeth get to the shocking state they were in. I had no pain during any of the procedures and minimal pain for a couple of days after numerous teeth were pulled. I highly recommend going to Highland Park if you are like me, a very nervous panicky dental patient.

Dr. Mina and Dr. Saif along with Taylor and Shanae who are just the best and love a chat make a trip to the dentist a fun and enjoyable day out . Fantastic experience: Following is a long review for any interested parties to read & digest. I have tried a few other, so called "reputable Gold Coast dental practices" for routine check ups etc. who caused me a great deal of concern after their treatment. Never before have I experienced what I received here. Firstly, phone contact was made with receptionist, Shanae. She listened intently to my needs & organised an appointment with Dr Saif Ali Ridha. The practice operates from a renovated residential dwelling, aptly fitted out as a dental clinic. As I entered the foyer on my appointment day, the homely atmosphere & Shanaes warm, inviting, "white" smile instantly made me feel comfortable. I was ushered as scheduled into the treatment room, by smiling Clinical Nurse Taylor. They adjusted my chair with a neck cushion as I had some shoulder pain. With the help of Taylor, Dr Ali Ridha completed the process professionally & gently in order not to irritate my extremely sensitive lips & inner mouth lining. Following the consultation, when I returned home, I felt an abrasive feeling on the tooth surface. After more communication, I went back a few days later for another examination. Once again, all aspects of treatment to eliminate the problem were provided professionally with great care. Any procedure here is under warranty as long as a patient follows the recommended 6 monthly routine checks. In my opinion, if ever a competition was held to determine "THE BEST" dental clinic on the Gold Coast, the Coolangatta Dental Group at Highland Park would WIN hands down. This review is posted based on my own recommendation & experience, to urge people to attend this clinic for their dental needs.
