I’m a bit of a chicken when it comes to pain tolerance but these guys never make me worry. They’re also a practice that doesn’t make you feel like they’re trying to make money off you. Fantastic experience: Excellent service and can't fault them. I've been going here since 2006 and even if I moved out of the area I'd still travel back for my checkups because I trust their service completely. They've never tried to upsell me on things I don't need, and they always recommend good specialists for work they don't do themselves, like root canals. I had a root canal done by another dentist (an urgent one on a Sunday) and it failed after a year so I understand why they set their limits and only do work they know they will do well. I went to Fairfield Dental Practice for advice after that one, and they recommended an excellent specialist who redid the difficult root canal and 10 years later it's still going fine. They are always very friendly and happy to answer all my questions, so I never leave with any uncertainty about what I need done or why, and how important something is to get done - for example I was reluctant to follow their recommendation to get a crown after root canal, and they explained why it's important and that I could probably get away without one for a while as in my case the tooth wasn't used as much for chewing, but there is a risk the now weakened tooth could crack and then it would be an extraction. So I was able to weigh up the risks and make an informed decision, and when I decided not to get a crown, I appreciated that they didn't try to pressure me into it anyway, or make it sound more urgent than it really was. As it turned out, after 10 years and counting, the original tooth without a crown is still going fine, so thanks to their honest explanation I feel I made the right decision. It's for reasons like this that I have a great deal of trust in their advice, and why I keep going back to them. Once you find someone who you can trust, you don't want to risk going to anyone else!

Having been a patient for about 15 years, I have appreciated Dr Tien and Dr Warren’s expertise and care as my dentists over this time. I’ve never felt pressured to choose certain treatments or dentistry work, with the dentists always talking through and explaining in depth all options and costs to help me make the right decision for the time. Clinic is modern and clean. Parking is super easy. Reception and support are friendly and very accomodating!

I've even had another dentist, when I was travelling interstate, comment positively on my crown work. Also the receptionists are very polite, helpful and caring. After major dental work they check up to see that everything is OK. At this practise it's not just about the money, but about the best care and support they can give the individual. Since I found them I wouldn't go anywhere else.

(Based on previous experiences with others prior to Fairfield Dental and then my last 10+ years as a client of Fairfield Dental). After attending 4-5 other dentists through decades of my life: some poor experiences, others average/ mediocre (except a very expensive practice in Bris CBD) by comparison to the excellent quality of care by Fairfield Dental Practice. They even resolved a denture problem that had plagued me for years that other previous dental practices had either not taken the extra time/care or lacked the level of expertise to resolve as effectively. Aside from the excellent quality and expertise at Fairfield Dental, the reception and admin team always ensure all feels welcoming, easy and simple. They all want to “go the extra mile” to make sure patients enjoy the best possible experience. And financially they don’t “charge like wounded bulls”. I would rate Fairfield Dental Practice 6 Stars if I could!
