Fantastic experience: Dr Twinkle from National dental Care Darwin is so kind and patient with children. We will not go anywhere else because she actually makes going to the dentist a joy for our three children. Our five year old looks forward to going there! She remembers their names and individual needs (one in particular for example can be very anxious and has a million questions throughout checkups). She is very gentle and we appreciate finding a dentist who takes the fear out of going to the dentist for our children. Erin Brady

Fantastic experience: I don’t often review businesses or products but Dr. Twinkle and her team were exceptional and outstanding. I chipped a large part of my front tooth at golf on the weekend. I phoned up after the public holiday, her team got me in the same morning due to cancellations and she reattached the bit of tooth that fell off with a bonding agent. I can’t tell where the part or the tooth was reattached and I look exactly as I did before the massive chipping. Outstanding throughout, couldn’t recommend more.

Positive experience: Dentist and the dental assistants were great. Most expensive filling ever $459 - when I queried it, I was told that the next one is only $395. Way over the top in my opinion. For that reason I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the hygienist, Gloria Vergara, for a number of years now and I love her work so much! I've had my teeth cleaned all around the world, and NO ONE cleans as good as Gloria! She is not only very thorough, taking her time to clean each and every tooth properly, but she is also such a lovely and warm person! Thank you Gloria, and National Dental Care! I'll be back!!!

Fantastic experience: Would absolutely recommend NDC Darwin. Dr Tobia is the best dentist I've ever had, the dental assistants are all really amazing and all the front office staff (yes, Kenya, you too) are always super friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: The doctor was lovely and did a great job—professional and attentive. However, I wasn’t aware that a dental X-ray would be charged separately for the left and right sides. I was surprised to see two charges, with no prior explanation that this would incur a dual X-ray fee. Three years ago, I had a panoramic scan and didn’t pay anything, so this came as an unexpected change.

Fantastic experience: Dr Aaron Tamayo is such an amazing dentist, he's super friendly and gentle and always helps me manage my nervousness when I go there by being really clear and communicating everything to me step by step. I can't recommend this practice highly enough :)

Negative experience: After the using the "new patient" promo deal (which is arguably decent value), I would not recommend returning here. Just spent $255 for the worst 20 minute check and clean I've experienced in my life (ranking roughly 56th out of 56 checks so far). Once the dentist found out that my insurance wasn't going to cover the extra work they had suggested, they couldn't have thrown me out of the chair any more quickly. What started as a reasonably gentle and attentive clean then turned into a mad rush for the finish line, with the tool catching on my gum as it quickly whizzed around the remaining teeth, and the polish being applied (almost thrown) over 10 seconds, followed by showing me the door - no time for a cup of water to rinse (maybe there was a legitimate reason for this, but I wasn't advised). Half my mouth still feels dirty, so I'll now have to go get finished somewhere else

He always greets and explains my questions and concerns thoroughly. Gloria is my Hygienist, and she has been caring for my dental hygiene for years (5 yrs.). Fantastic experience: I dread going to the dentist - not anymore! The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a professional atmosphere minus the clinical feeling of typical dentists. Ample paid parking directly outside in the street. Dr Twinkle Amin was on time, very personable and thoroughly explained my X-ray results (which are free of charge) as part of the first appt as a new patient. She was gentle - after the check, it’s the first time a clean hasn’t been painful and uncomfortable. I enjoyed the banter between Dr and Nurse, it was comforting as I was nervous and it helped me relax. They have a Tv screen on the ceiling if you want to not have your eyes closed hahaha. First time in my life I have left the dentist with no out of pocket expenses! Quotes received for other services such as crown were very reasonable also. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: First time I've ever been to the dentist and not paid a fee. Perhaps to do with my medical insurance but there was a gap fee of over $80 which normally you would pay. But as it was my first time there and, so that was waved. Over $400 treatment and I didn't pay a thing. As I now need more work and the options provided were varied and affordable. I have never had this previously at any dentist. In fact, compared to dentist's I visited in Townsville there is no comparison on attitude, professionalism and/or price where I had to pay $350 for basic work. In fact that put me off going to the dentist for a while. In regards to the service itself. Friendly, welcoming, professional all the way and I didn't feel worried or anxious at any time due to their gentle approach and the assistant was awesome, as waa the dentist but very good at her job. I know when you find a good dental assistant because I've visited dentists from many years due to a serious push bike accident when I was a child. Awesome and affordable service right through. But mostly. I never thought IDs ever say that I'm now worried about returning to a dentist.

Central location is great, easy to get a car park near the clinic (we parked at Mitchel Centre and just walked to the clinic). Kids and I saw Dr Twinkle Amin. Positive experience: My dentist and hygienist were friendly and wonderful. I did find the SMS system a little confusing i.e. receiving SMSs from different mobile numbers for each appointment. I made the mistake they were duplicate SMSs, sorry!
