Fantastic experience: My family are relatively new to the Bellarine peninsula. We went to Barwon Heads Dental for the first time today for a dental appointment for my daughter and I, it was my daughters very first dental visit. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist who was very polite and talkative with my shy daughter. The dentist and dental assistant were extremely professional and nice. The equipment used and layout of the place was second to none. The dentist took ample time with me to discuss my issues, as well as talking with my daughter and showed genuine care in finding many solutions. Which I learnt a lot were available onsite. Needless to say we’ve found our new dentist. Highly recommend. I can see why it’s all 5 star ratings for this place.

Also provided us with some valuable information in regard to nursing homes and drinks . This is the first time a family member has been placed in a nursing home . So we welcomed the information .

If you have sensitive teeth and are nervous about your check and clean, highly recommend Dr Maddie and team! So friendly, caring, attentive, thorough and skilled. Until recent years I’d always being very diligent with my dental visits to the same brilliant family dentist where I grew up in Hobart. I haven’t lived in Hobart for nearly 20 years, but stuck religiously with that dentist travelling back for my check ups and care every year until 2022. I knew I needed to take the leap to a finally find local clinician, but with very sensitive teeth and a terrible check and clean experience elsewhere in Ocean Grove 2 years ago, I hadn’t been back to a dentist since! I’d been putting it off for so long too nervous to go! But I heard lots of strong local recommendations about Barwon Heads Dental, so I finally booked in. The experience with Dr Maddie was worlds apart from my last experience elsewhere - I barely had a twinge during the clean today, she was so careful but thorough and paced it perfectly. Also the visual technology she used to educate and involve me in the decision making worked really well. So glad I’ve found a dentist locally I can trust, will get my partner and kids in as well!

Positive experience: Bravo to young Martin - he did a great job on my creaky, 70 year old set of choppers today. He seemed thorough and his bedside manner was informative. Although he kept the chat up throughout, he stayed on the surfside of patronising as he explained pretty much everything he did in detail. I walked out of his room a better person. Fantastic experience: Barwon Heads Dental were able to see me for a consultation at the last minute due to a cancellation at my regular dental practice. I was given a quick diagnosis for my pain and given excellent advice on treatment. I went back the following day for a painless treatment and I was very glad I had booked with them. The dental rooms are super modern and feature a TV to watch while being seen. There’s even a Labrador to greet you in the waiting room and give pats if you’re feeling nervous! Highly recommend using their services and I will be making Barwon Heads Dental my new dentist!

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is not a cheerful experience, let alone the first visit to a new one! However, my first appointment at Barwon Heads Dental caused me no angst at all. Fantastic experience: I'm a huge sook when it comes to dentist. Everything about going to the dentist freaks me out! I'm the sort of person that will have a tooth ache for months and will continue living life in pain until I just can't anymore. I was in a lot of pain, so I finally bit the bullet and went. I booked in the with Dr Jack and within 2 hours I was in the waiting room, still that heightened that I thought I may have needed a valium to take the edge off. My name was called, I followed Dr Jack into his room where he popped numbing cream straight on the spots that were required. Whilst I was sitting there explaining that I had the biggest toothache anyone had ever had the numbing cream had taken effect and I felt nothing for the rest of the treatment. Dr Jack is that good at his job that I'm actually rebook and go in on a regular basis. Then I found out the surgery even has a support dog, he's so beautiful. Thank you so much team .
