From the moment we walked in, the team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They took great care of the whole family, made everyone feel at ease, and the quality of their work was outstanding. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.

Negative experience: 5+years ago I’d recommend this place, but now No! I’ve been coming here for years and over the years I’ve seen the quality and workmanship decline since the new staff have come through. The old staff from 2019 and earlier were the best, fast forward to today everytime I go in there it’s all new staff every several months! It’s all random overseas workers that im now convinced work to lower standards as this is reflected in the recent issues I’ve experienced, they don’t understand what your saying on the phone and you have to keep repeating yourself, then you show up to the appointment and they booked you in with the wrong person I’ve recently had a filling replacement which fell out a few months later, got it replaced then that fell out 3 weeks later. I work quality has really gone downhill with the change in staff and sadly I no longer would recommend this place. Fairfield branch is who I’d probably recommend instead.

One great experience to note is the receptionist Rula. While I was booking in my wife's appointment, who is a teacher, Rula had suggested that perhaps we could book her in for the school holidays. What a great suggestion! Thank you team for such a great and consistent experience!

A beautiful authentic practise manager , Fatima, and my beautiful Dr Kestrel helped repair a cracked molar tooth, with the horrific pain I was in, the care, support and healing I received over Christmas was the most positive defining moments having ever dealt with any dentists in all my time. Dr Kestrel is very knowledgeable, super gentle and amazing dentist capable of repairing any tooth back to its best possible original state. I am forever grateful and would recommend your practise and staff to everyone!! Thankyou so much team!!

Negative experience: The dentist who took care of me was wonderful and checked that I was covered before proceeding with the dental services. However, the dentist for my husband did not check first and we've had to pay a couple hundred out of pocket unexpectedly. Unprofessional and don't appreciate this way of doing business.

I have sensitive teeth and Kestrel has looked after me so well, with good care, I am getting back into regular cleans. She also saw my son for his first visit to the dentist today. I couldn't believe my eyes he had a clean and check up with no dramas. And lastly the reception and dentist nurse so wonderfully made us feel comfortable and looked after. A lovely practice with lots of great dentists.

Negative experience: I have been getting my fillings done at five dock, however the dentist Pamela Pather and the receptionist DID NOT provide or inform me the quote on the permanent filling until it has been done yesterday and charged me $1200. They have reinforced that the procedure has been done and I need to pay, then I paid or else I guess they would not let me leave and may call the cops

Negative experience: I had extensive work done with 4-5 fillings done in 2018, only all to be replaced in 2021, I was so shocked as I thought my fillings were up to date. The additional pain I went through and now need a root canal, the expense is just a side product. I did have a lot of cavities, but I expected my fillings to last more than 3 years. The pain I’m going though with my back molar for the root canal is excruciating. Poor job. I’ve had multiple fillings done by another dentist in 2010 with no issues or need for replacement. Poor product, dentist or both.

Negative experience: Not a great experience. The front staff were lovely, as was the dentist I saw. BUT..I had a root canal and a crown..this was 3.5 years ago. Not long after, I was getting pain in the crowned tooth. I came back, had an x-ray, and they couldn't see anything wrong. Thought it could be a crack inside. After more pain every now and then, I've just been to my local dentist, and after having a look he immediately saw that the crown had not been attached to the tooth properly and food was getting stuck inside causing the irritation. He couldn't believe it wasn't spotted when I went back. Now I have to fork out thousands of dollars for a new crown! Disappointing to say the least.

Negative experience: wanted a double mouthguard, but over the phone they wouldnt say if they sold it, so they got me to come in and charged me consultation fee, just to say they dont have it

Negative experience: UNPROFESSIONAL AND CARELESS I did attend Bupa Dental Five Dock on 16/01/2021 for my usual 6 months routine check. Unfortunately, my usual doctor, Dr. Catrina Carroll was not available. Instead, Dr. Kestrel Imamura performed the procedure. The appointment was set at 10:00 AM but I was early and I entered the clinic at 9:55 AM. After talking to the front desk and waited for 10m I was called by the assistant (10:05 AM). The room was not ready, with 2 different assistants continuously entering and exit the room for 10m. At this point, Dr. Kestrel Imamura came and introduced herself (10:15 AM). She suggested a set of x-rays, which I did. General cleaning commenced 5m later (10:20 AM). The procedure was quite intense and rough. At 10:45 Dr. Kestrel Imamura stopped operating and told me that the cleaning was incomplete and that I had to come back another day to finish the cleaning. No fluoride treatment was applied and no explanation was given to justify why. After been invited to leave the room, I expressed my concerns to the front desk. Dr. Kestrel Imamura then explained that the cleaning max lasts 20m, while the front desk explained that it was a 'busy' day and that everyone wanted dental work to be done. Overall the procedure was incomplete, unprofessional, careless, rushed and completely out of touch. I have been using Bupa Dental Five Dock for several years now, but after this incident, I will never come back.

Fantastic experience: I got my teeth checked and cleaned by Dr Kestrel Imamura on 6th March. She was thorough, gentle and very informative. I’m normally scared of dentists but she made the whole process so easy. The Reception staff at Bupa Five Dock are also so lovely! I’ll definitely be back there.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank all the staff who worked on my wisdom teeth removal. I was terrified of the process itself as the bottom tooth was underneath the gum and required dental surgery. The tooth at the top was removed painlessly yet the one at the bottom was causing troubles. Thank you so much for your patience. It was a 2 hour long and hard procedure. I was informed about all the risks and give advice on how to handle the care after the surgery.

Negative experience: I went to have a normal check up and a general cleaning . After that day I have sever left lower jaw pain, and difficulty opening my mouth .I won’t be using that doctors service no more, thank very much. Otherwise front reception was helpful and welcoming.
