Her attentive approach and clear explanations helped create a comfortable atmosphere. The clinic staff are also lovely, including Louise at reception. Excited for my next treatment for fillings and wisdom teeth! Highly recommend Dr Joy.

She took the time to understand my dental habits, and developed a dental treatment plan based on my concerns as well as underlying issues she had identified. What’s more, she took the time to provide a clinical rationale for her suggestions. Absolutely terrific dentist!

Fantastic experience: The team at Core Dental are fantastic. I went to quite a few dentists before this and none of them were able to diagnose the cause of the intense pain I was having for weeks! Joy was friendly, patient and took the time to look at my teeth and figure out the cause of the issue. It turned out to be a wisdom teeth infection and she immediately tried to find someone that could help remove it so that I could be pain free! Scott from Core Dental was fantastic in helping me remove my wisdom tooth and the process was quick and easy. The receptionists at Core Dental are also always friendly, caring and lovely. I really highly recommend this place!

She removed all my tooth gems for me during the clean and made sure there was no glue residue so that my teeth are fresh and ready for a new set of gems

Fantastic experience: Over the years I've seen three different dentists there for five fillings, teeth whitening and three teeth pulled, two wisdom and a broken one. I've had my teeth cleaned twice by two others there, and my experiences have all been amazing. I don't like the feeling of the needle that stops you bleeding so much, so they give me an alternative and have made me feel very comfortable. I could not praise Core Dental in South Melbourne enough. My family have inherently bad teeth, most of them have falsies because they just break down, but Core have fixed my teeth from broken to brand new. They are all so nice and have made me so happy to have great teeth again

They took the time to explain the treatment before and explained each step during the procedure (on my request of course), and made me feel very comfortable and eased my anxieties. Scott was gentle and patient and the dental nurse was so calming and friendly. Both were very experienced and worked really well together too, so there were no hiccups. Scott easily builds trust and you can tell there is a high-level of care towards patients. It was also very clean and professional environment. The prices are also very reasonable. After having such a terrible experience with a dentist elsewhere in Victoria recently I was quite nervous about going but after the initial consultation with James my partner and I walked out of there not only pleased with the options of what could be done but I was actually EXCITED and couldn't wait for my appointment!
