Fantastic experience: My dentist, Dr Tamara Warren couples cutting edge, state of the art technology, with a superb caring attitude. Since coming to this practice, I am no longer apprehensive about dental treatment. I recently had a crown fitted: it was an absolutely painless procedure. In addition, I'm so impressed by the seamless, expert, happy teamwork between Tamara and Verity, her dental assistant. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I heard about Becca through a friend and how pleased I am to have found her. My son was very nervous about his visit due to having had a negative experience else where. The reception staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful upon arrival. We were then called in by Becca, who had the most professional, warm, calm nature. She listened to our previous experience and totally put my son at ease very quickly and continued to check in with him throughout our visit. Her gentle approach is just what my son needed. Fantastic experience: Dr Tamara Warren is the best dentist I have ever been to. I have had about 5 occlusal splints made over a period of around 25 years and hated very one of them. I told Dr Tamara why I couldn't wear them and she listened to me, thought outside the box and came up with a simple solution to make a thinner splint for the bottom teeth instead of the top. It has made a world of difference and I now wear the guard every night to protect my teeth from my grinding. She also replaced the veneers on my two front teeth (which I had recently had done by another dentist and they broke within a year), recommending that I also add material to the backs of a couple of others to prevent further wear. Her work has made my teeth feel stronger, look far better and has already lasted longer. It has also reduced the sensitivity. She is professional, pleasant to deal with, does not overcomplicate issues, performs exceptional work and in comparison to other dentists, is very reasonably priced. I recently moved to Sydney and when I needed something done on short notice on the only day I was to be back on the Coast, she made herself available.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased I found Dr Nancy and Nina at Kawana Dental. I am amazed at what Dr Nancy can do and the care given to me by them both was next level. They were warm, welcoming and understanding, which made me feel comfortable. After chronic pain for months and an absolute terror of dentists, Dr Trish ensured I was comfortable the whole way. Fantastic experience: 10/10 recommend the amazing Kawana Dental team for the whole family. Dr Nancy and Oral Health Therapist Alexandra (and assistants Nina, Isabel, Seline) were absolutely incredible for my 3 yr old and 5 yr old's first dental checkup, sealants and filling. They were gentle and quick to get the work done in jiggly little mouths. They were informative and genuinely caring for the dental hygiene journey for little ones. Admin team are super lovely also! My daughters now look forward to their 6 monthly checkups.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth over Easter and called Cath at Kawana Dental, on the Tuesday unfortunately they could not fit me in. However Cath would call if they got a cancellation. Cath called me back and fitted me in with Dr Tim at 5.45pm that afternoon. (They stay open until 7pm) Dr Tim saved the tooth and did a filling. He was so gentle and caring, even with the needle. Fells the same as before had no pain or any issues with it. Rebooked for a clean (like most people haven't been to the dentist in while)Great service from the moment you walk in the door. Thanks Cath and Dr Tim.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nancy is amazing, calming, gentle and compassionate. I usually hate going to the dentist and have to be sedated but seeing Dr Nancy feels like a glorious walk in the park. The care at Kawana Dental is unmatched

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend the team at Kawana Dental for all your dental needs. Dr Nancy recommended me to have one of my old amalgam fillings removed and replaced when she noticed a crack whilst having my routine check up. I am so glad I took her advice because on removal of the filling the true nature of cracking around the whole tooth was revealed. The repair was extensive but Nancy professionally restored it with her extensive experience . I truly appreciated her thoughtful and thorough explanation throughout the whole process, Dr Nancy and Aurora were so gentle and supportive throughout the lengthy process and made me feel totally comfortable and relaxed. I am going back to have the other two old fillings removed and replaced with this amazing team. So grateful to all the team at Kawana Dental for their polite friendly service. Fantastic experience: Just got home from my dental exam and cleaning. As usual, the experience left me feeling grateful for having found Kawana Dental when I moved to the Sunshine Coast almost 20 years ago. Some of the faces have changed, but my dentist, Dan, has been around for most of those years and he is great!!! Fantastic experience: I had a HUGE fear of dentists- two of my friends recommended Dr Murray and Kawana Dental and wow, they were totally spot on. I had my first appointment with Dr Murray at their recommendation, I’ve been to so many dentists in the past that say they won’t hurt and will be gentle - none of it was true. BUT Kawana Dental was seriously next level. Dr Murray went very slowly and talked me through every single step of my two fillings and clean. Even the injections didn’t hurt! Negative experience: Can see they have closed down , saying no 1 on Sunshine Coast , yes no 1 for giving pain !!! No wonder they gone bust , false reviews ,false advertising, these guys were terrible, they’re worst rated on sunshine coast and don’t answer their phones anymore because of complaints,no wonder medical board of Queensland shut them down, too late now for a refund

Dr Tim Chin is a great dentist and totally looks after you and with my recent teeth problems - he has been a great support- so just a thank you to all at kawana dental - you do a great job!!!!

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist, i have severe anxiety around it and it takes a lot for me to go, so when the pain got unbearable made an appointment with Kawana Dental. Everyone there from the front desk staff to the dentist were amazing I felt like I wasn't just another patient and they took the the time to explain everything, go over my options. I got a call from the dentist the following day just to check on me? That's like above and beyond.If I have a question or need help over the phone they always make time from reception to the dentist. I won't go anywhere else, highly recommend them.

We have had a great experience at Kawana dental with our Dentist as well - very thorough, calming (which is super important when an 8 year old girl is getting her first plate)...they're all just SO good with kids. I have started going there based solely on how friendly everyone is. Welcoming, clean, professional, well priced and if I could give 6 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: Having lived on the Sunshine Coast for 26 years, I required a dentist, Having viewed the website, & reviews I booked in for a total analysis. Well I couldn't be happier with the service I received starting with the ladies at the front desk, thru to meeting my soon to be New Dentist, " Martha " She was great, did X-rays & then planned out the procedure for the next few months. Can't rate the service & the Very Professional way all has been achieved any Higher ... 10 out of 10 Now I actually enjoy going to my dentist !!!! T

Fantastic experience: The best dentist on the Sunshine Coast! I’ve been to a few dentists along the coast, and no one else has taken so much care about my situation. They even cross-checked my case with other specialists to ensure I was having the best care. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Negative experience: I went to Kawana Dental after booking an appointment for all of my wisdom teeth to be removed only to be told to go to a specialist after they had already looked at X-rays I had had done previously then charged me for that. A phone call would have saved me my time and money as I had to take time off work for this appointment I have lost a full days pay and been charged for a 2 minute conversation. Rip offs!

Fantastic experience: OMG!!!! In all the years I have been with my hubby (30+) he has NEVER had a smile on his face when he comes home from a dental appointment, and is usually in pain for a few days as well. We recently changed to Kawana Dental and it is the best thing we have ever done. Even my adult son has changed to there as well. We all see Dr Tim Chin and he is a miracle worker. If anyone can get my husband to say, "that was the best appointment ever, and I even had to have a needle" (he is petrified of them) you definitely have a great gift. Fantastic experience: First time going to a dentist in 15+ years today. I was nervous and felt embarrassed and ashamed. Dr Tim Chin made me feel so at ease with what he had to do. I am now going back in 4 weeks time! I will now go every single 6 months. If you haven't been to a Dentist in Years go to this one. They don't judge you and are super professional.

Fantastic experience: The team at Kawana Dental are the friendliest and most accommodating. I have been a patient for a couple of years now and can only speak positively about my experiences with all staff, from the welcome at reception to the dentists and hygienists. Most notably, Fiona Goud is a delight, she has a way of making you feel at ease and comfortable, very personable.

Positive experience: Update to below, I am very pleased to say the owner has been in touch and they have made some permanent changes to the way families are billed which is an excellent result going forward. The owner really listened to our situation and was proactive and flexible in making the changes. Thank you Mark, I would definitely recommend your clinic moving forward. Amazing service but overpriced for families. I took both my young sons in for a checkup and clean. The checkup or "oral examination" was $67 per child and then on top of this, they charged another $100 per child for a 5-10 minute clean without advising of the cost amount. The service was amazing with lots of plastic goodies, "prizes" and balloons for the kids. I went to Kawana Family Dental as I thought it would be good for families and would consider their needs. I compared this pricing with my own dentist who confirmed that they charge $65 for full check up and a clean per child plus additional $10 for an x-ray. I queried the pricing with Kawana Family Dental after the appointment saying that I felt overcharged and they advised they would take up with management and someone would call, I am still awaiting a response. So I would recommend this place if money is no object, otherwise I would recommend shopping around.

Fantastic experience: If you are afraid of going to the dentist, I highly recommend Kawana Dental, particularly Dr Tamara. She is amazing. Everyone I have recommended her to has said the same thing. Great dental surgery and great staff, especially Dr Tamara!

Fantastic experience: Going to Kawana Dental has always been a pleasant experience for me. The staff at Reception are always friendly polite and accommodating. I have been a patient of Dr Martha Ponce for a number of years and in my opinion, she is a remarkably good Dentist. A perfectionist, easy to understand and a great pleasure to deal with. Certainly the most gentle Dentist I have ever come across (I have seen a few in my life time). I strongly recommend her as a Dentist and more so if anyone has a fear of Dentists. Worth mentioning that she has a delightful Assistant also

Fantastic experience: Dr Aninda Dey made taking a day off for a wisdom tooth removal better than going to work itself! And all on my first visit to Kawana Dental. There was zero pain, during and after. I've been to the typical favourites on the coast and I now consider them over-rated and over-priced after my experience! Absolutely stoked with my service and will be back, when recommended, on time, every time! Also a big thanks to Ash Moore for recommending me to go there!

Negative experience: Stephen Laing is unintelligent and his methods abrupt. He caused a problem where care & delicacy was needed to fix it but he made it worse. Then he announced he could not do it and I had to get another dentist who fixed it first go. Though the problem area is now prone to chipping, something I have to keep getting redone. This could of all been avoided if I didn't see Stephen Laing in the first place. edit: Just because my google username is not in your accounts - does not mean I wasn't a customer! also I did get a refund, so that's sorted but as I said I had to get another dentist who is competent to fix it. I have confidence in my current dentist to keep fixing the problem Stephen Laing caused.

Fantastic experience: Kids had fun on thier check up. Lots of toys to play and tv to distract them. Thanks Labor for our $1000 Medicare bulk billed cap over 2 years if you are on family tax benefit.
