Fantastic experience: I had my 6 year old in last night due to an ongoing toothache. Unfortunately the tooth needed to be removed but the treatment went very smoothly. Dr Hurria explained the treatment options very thoroughly and the nurses were great and kept him very comfortable. We will be back for sure.

Positive experience: Warrnambool dental is great at educating on preventative care as well as sharing their knowledge to collaborate with patients to find the perfect long-term care plan. If you ever have a question or concern, I find they'll always be able to provide answers and explanations if you voice it. However they aren't the best with informed consent. For example, giving you information about a procedure and its side effects after performing it, not beforehand or telling you what they're doing as they are doing it rather than telling you what they want to do and asking if you're okay with it. So make sure to keep asking questions and keep asking for information upfront. They can also be rather rough with cleanings. I haven't sustained any damage but side effects for this cleaning were the worst I've ever felt and pain during was the worst pain I have ever felt. If you're sensitive or are unsure how you'll handle the pain either discuss a pain management plan in advance or go elsewhere.

Although there was a bit of a wait, which is completely understandable given that they managed to fit me in at short notice, I can confidently say it was absolutely worth it. What stood out the most was how patient and kind he was throughout the entire appointment. Negative experience: Attenden an appointment with Dr Nishant Hurria, in November after an etended wait, and long extended session on how to brush and floss, the dentist entered the room burped and wiped his face from what I expect was his dinner. I Received a $300 clen and was told no further action was required to address the back tooth pain that ended up being removed by another dentist. I do not recommend, plenty of other dentist's available to adress your serious needs.

Negative experience: While I appreciate being fit in for an emergency appointment last minute due to excruciating tooth pain, my experience wasn’t pleasant. (My regular dentist is wonderful but I couldn’t get in straight away) I was in the dentist chair for over an hour before the extraction was performed. I was left sitting there multiple times while the dentist left the room and didn’t return for some time. Communication wasn’t clear as to what was going on and why I was left in the room over and over. After explaining how tender the tooth was and how much pain I was in, he was very rough when assessing the tooth and it hurt SO much when he was tapping the tooth VERY firmly. When we finally got to the anaesthetic (almost an hour after I first sat in the chair) it was the roughest and most painful mouth needle I have ever had. After the first lot of anaesthetic wasn’t enough as I could still feel the pain, he administered more. He gave it a bit of time to work then told me he would give it another minute or two and walked out. After 15 more minutes I had to ask the dental assistant what was taking so long. I walked out feeling very overwhelmed and upset with the treatment I received, despite being grateful I had been fit in. I didn’t feel his bedside manner was pleasant at all. I was prompted to write this review after mentioning to another person today that I had been to the dentist for an emergency appointment and wasn’t overly happy with the experience. She asked me if I had been to Warrnambool Dental and when I said yes she replied that she had been there and had a very similar experience to mine. I wish I had known this before I booked in there. After reading reviews here I see that my experience isn’t an isolated one.

Negative experience: I called to make an appointment for my 4year old (nearly 5) she broke her tooth the lady on the phone told me it was covered completely by Medicare no upfront payment that was a LIE. Then I said she would need it pulled they said yep we can do that not a problem. Go to our appointment to find that the dentist refused to do anything as she was to young an didn't want my daughter to be traumatized so she will need to be sedated (she has a few things needing to be fixed but could have at least helped with the tooth causing pain) an here is my 4yr old laying there with her mouth wide open waiting for him to help stop the pain to be told I won't do anything she was not happy (she had a filling at 3 n didn't even budge) safe to say unless your kid only needs a check up maybe a clean I wouldn't bother going here. Honestly it was like he (the dentist) was more scared of my 4y old (nearly 5) daughter than she was of him an to top it off is we were waited 40min past her appointment time. Have definatley already recommended to family an friends to stay away from this place.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with my dental nurse's from memory their names were Sophie and a dental student named Maddy. They were absolutely wonderful, very welcoming and talked me through everything. I decided to not continue on with this clinic given the wait times and how the head dentist pops in between paitents all while completing works on them. it's not something I've ever come across in a dental clinic and I can see why. We're paying alot of money for works and to be late and share time between paitents for the price seems unfair

Negative experience: With 4 different rooms operating at once, there is 1 dentist that runs from room to room in a rush. Absolutely butchered my gums and caused a lot of damage

Negative experience: ZERO STARS.The absolute worst experience, from the appointment being delayed by over an hour, to the complete lack of compassion from reception to the dentist. Go literally anywhere else unless you want to spend more later to fix the butchery. Pushing on an infected molar with all your might to "check" it's the one, when you have x-rays and the patient pointing to it is unnecessarily cruel and speaks volumes of the care and "compassion" of the inhumane butcher of warnambool. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but the absolute awful experience has left me no choice.

Negative experience: Been waiting for my wife 3 hours now .This isn’t a one off, if it wasn’t for the fact she was halfway through treatment and this was a second visit, we would have gone elsewhere as the first appointment she spent 2 hours in the waiting room. Bit of a joke how they treat multiple patients at once so you end up stuck in there for 2-3 hours for simple treatment. Most people hate dentists and want to get in and out quickly, also not hang around as they have to get back to work ,time is money. They are always running late, be prepared to wait and wait….yawn. Also the guy is very rough, especially with females, be wary. If you didn’t hate dentists when you arrived, you will when you leave.

Negative experience: In case it wasn't obvious, most of the positive reviews are fake accounts. I got into warrnambool dental for an emergency which I was grateful for, but was left waiting for 30 minutes and left in excruciating pain after my treatment. Was told that the pain would subside but wasn't given anything to help. I think the dentist cares more about money than his patients. Would not recommend this clinic

Negative experience: Waited 30+ mins on two seperate occasions for appointments that took 5mins in the chair. Seemed as if they booked more clients than they could manage both times. Will not be returning

Negative experience: Waited over half an hour for a $261 check up and three minute clean that didn't even include flossing of my teeth. I don't mind waiting half an hour for a bulk-billed doc appointment, but a $261 dental appointment... not cool. Check up was good and thorough but overall, very disappointed with my experience. Felt very rushed and from my perspective it was as though they had more patients booked than they could manage. Will not be returning in the future.

Negative experience: I've had two extractions taken out and I've taken my stitches out to find I have a price of tooth leftinside my gum I'm sure I played for a full extraction. Sad really because I did want to keep using this dental ..I'm not happy.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth extraction done at the clinic. Right from the time i stepped into the clinic, I was confident that I was in good hands. Dr Hurria was really detailed in explaining the procedure and the after care to me. The procedure was pretty much pain free and very smooth. Negative experience: Horrible experience!! I went there only for some cement in one of the wires put on the back of my teeth after braces. They left me waiting 45 min in the waiting room, when I went in,they asked for a few details and another 15 min waiting.After that, the doctor came to have a look, not reparing my wire(apparently he said it was not as loose but went totally loose 2 days later? )and telling me that i needed xrays and my mouth looked unhealthy!!!! All that charging me 60 dollars even when he didnt repair what i need it. Basically he just want money telling you that you need more stuff that you really need as I already read in other comments. I left angry and worried, however today i went to another dentist to repair my wire and he said that the gums look healthy!! A shame that there are still some unprofessional dentist that take away the trust from this profession!!!!!

I had very high expectations and they were exceeded by the quality of the service I received and the final result of my tooth. It looks amazing and my overall experience dealing with the practice was outstanding.

Negative experience: Terrible experience, do not recommend this practice!!!! I had a tooth extracted last year at this practice and had terrible pain for 3 weeks after.... thought it was normal...... Booked my son in last week with a sensitive tooth. Dentist said he needed a root canal treatment costing approximately $1350 plus 16 fillings!!!!! No other options....... The reception staff were lovely, but they messaged asking when will my son be in for his treatment..... I got a second opinion and the dentist said he needed 2 fillings, the tooth that was sensitive and the one beside it..... She filled both teeth and bulk billed us.... said he will need one more filling at a later date. I definitely do not recommend this practice.
