Fantastic experience: Wisdom teeth removal Recently I was advised that having my bottom two wisdom teeth removed would be best for me. Now when I heard that. I was scared. To say the least. But I did it anyway because I knew that once it was done I’d never have to do it again. Now when I say I walked out of my extraction and was pleasantly surprised by the experience I mean it. I didn’t feel a thing, I was able to sit still and let the team work. At no point did I feel they were rushing me or the process. I was able to just let it happen due to the steady and kind hands working. The recovery has been the hardest part. The extraction itself was nothing to worry about all. I recommend having it done here!

Negative experience: Originally, the payment should have been made with a dental benefit, but I had paid for it due to the receptionists' fault, and I called the next day and promised them a refund, but today I visited and they said they would not refund me. They changed their tune and said they couldn't give me a refund because it was their policy. Really, the receptionists are unkind and have no idea how to handle things. I will never be able to get treatment here again. This is my first time seeing a dentist like this.I got really unhappy memories today.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment with Dr Alison Clarin today, and let me tell you—she made my neglected teeth feel like VIPs. It had been a while since my last cleaning (let’s not talk about how long), but she took care of me like a pro. No judgment, just an excellent clean and a surprisingly enjoyable visit. My teeth are now so fresh and so clean, clean! Highly recommend Alison—your teeth will thank you (and probably shine like a toothpaste commercial).

Fantastic experience: Dr Yumi is a wonderful dentist. Over the past 5+ years of seeing her, she has consistently provided me with the highest level of care. Today, I went to have my wisdom teeth removed and the entire experience was very smooth and pain free. I was amazed at how effortlessly she completed the extractions. Whenever I come into the clinic feeling anxious about a procedure, Dr Yumi is incredibly thorough in addressing all of my concerns and helps me feel at ease with her professionalism and clear explanations. Fantastic experience: The whole team provide amazing dental care and an easy experience. The free onsite parking is a major convenience, and the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. The dentists are very professional, explaining everything clearly and ensured I was comfortable.They made the operations as pain free as possible and were very quick. I highly recommend this dentist, even if you aren't a Bupa member.

I have always been nervous about visiting a dentist due to bad experiences as a child. Fantastic experience: I recently had a check up and clean with Dr Tasleem Khan and his wonderful dental assistant Lacey and had a great experience. Dr Tas was extremely informative and professional and Lacey made me feel very comfortable. Could not recommend a better dentist.

Negative experience: Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. The dentist was incapable of achieving anesthesia, and tried to operate despite me telling her I was in pain. She later tried to persuade me to go under sedation because of her inability to achieve anesthesia. Took a whole hour of torture and sent me home “as is”- resulting in a giant hole in my teeth, a giant laceration in my gum, and a very serious infection two days later. Went to another dental clinic and they were astonished at the level of “professional care” provided here. Had to receive a whole week of “very strong” antibiotic treatment as an aftermath of visiting this clinic, not to mention a whole week of insufferable and unnecessary pain. Here’s the kicker- Went back to the other dentist, and after successfully issuing anesthesia, it took him three minutes to take my tooth out. No issues at all. No pain, no nonsense. Tried to communicate this awful experience with Bupa Dental Toowong but they refuse any sort of responsibility. Apparently, a regular three minute wisdom teeth removal procedure at another clinic, will turn into a whole week long of unnecessary and insufferable pain here, but that’s apparently “of no fault of theirs.” STRONGLY RECOMMEND GOING ELSEWHERE. There are lots of skillful and professional dentists out there, ones who know how to issue anesthesia, and how to perform a simple surgery without causing you unnecessary harm. -Edit: Hey Josh, I’ve already sent multiple emails to your clinic conveying this, also providing picture proof and clinical notes from my other dentist, only to receive the most outrageous response from the dentist herself. I’m sure you can find all my detailed emails if you really care. Thanks.

Negative experience: I had a general check-up and cleaning at Bupa detnal Toowong. I saw a senior dentist, Adam, He was very rushed, rude, angry, and did cleaning service very dirty and violent. I had a pain in my all gums after dental. I think he doesn't like Asians. Don't go there, Asians.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a checkup and cleaning with Dr. Natalia Schultz at BUPA Toowong, and I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience. Dr. Schultz's friendly and professional service truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff at BUPA Toowong are courteous and organised, making the entire appointment process seamless. As for Dr. Schultz, her warm demeanour instantly made me feel comfortable, which is especially important when visiting the dentist. She took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process, ensuring that I was well-informed about my oral health. Her attention to detail was evident, and I appreciated her commitment to providing top-notch care. Dental visits can be nerve-wracking for me, but Dr. Schultz's calming approach made the experience much more pleasant. She listened attentively to my concerns and answered all my questions with patience. I'll definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Yumi Choi- it was a tricky operation as the wisdom teeth were in a bad position but she managed the situation really professionally and made sure that the experience was comfortable and as painless as possible. The after care advice on how to manage the wisdom teeth was also very detailed and helpful. Overall, I would recommend anyone needing their wisdom tooth pulled out to do it here!

Fantastic experience: Wow what an amazing Dentist! I had Michelle the dental hygienist and it was the most thorough clean that I have ever experienced! She was certainly not in a rush. Then I saw Natalia my new favourite dentist who finished off my inspection. She found a few things but was in no hurry to fix teeth that didn’t need fixing at this point. Then I had the super X-ray of my mouth full view (see picture). Nat then took the time to patiently explain the X-ray to me. Best of all no extra charges as it was my first time. So there is no need to pay for an expensive dentist when Bupa Toowong will look after you. What are you waiting for, make an appointment!

Fantastic experience: First visit to this branch. Modern, very spacious dental clinic.The office staff have a warm and welcoming attitude. On my first visit I dealt with Dr. Natalie Schultz and her lovely dental assistant. They were both so lovely and welcoming. Natalie really put my mind at ease. I couldn't ask for a better dental experience. She is very thorough and listened to all of my concerns. She explained everything perfectly and was upfront with how much the next follow up procedure would cost and what would be involved. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured, as I have at other dental practices. I highly recommend this clinic for your dental care.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist Zoe is so nice, kind, patient and caring. For teeth cleaning I prefer hygienist to dentist. Not many hygienists there. I am very happy I found such a good one. Thank you , Zoe! The clinic is easy to find and has free parking.

Negative experience: Bupa Dental at Toowong used to be a good experience, however my dentist moved and I saw a senior dentist at the clinic and it was the worst experience I ever had. I had a check up and clean and the dentist rushed to the point where it was only a 20 minute appointment including x-rays. My mouth during and after the clean has been incredibly sore and has been bleeding. I cant express how much I never want to go back there and have changed to a different Bupa clinic. I felt judged and anxious the entire time I was there. Would not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist! Extremely organised and timely, excellent reception staff. Dr Kenedy Hwang has a genuine care for her clients and ensures they leave confident and clear about any course of action, despite the sometimes confusing nature of dentistry. Couldn't recommend more.

Negative experience: Have been trying to call for three days. Get forced to leave voicemail and no option to hold. Have left voicemails and never hear back.

Negative experience: Phoned multiple times over 6 weeks to try to make appointment. Constant answer phone message saying to leave message and/or call back during business hours. I am calling during business hours. Never receive a call back from messages left. Makes you wonder what the dental care is like!!

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous going into my appointment because I haven’t been to the dentist in over 4 years and had a lot of buildup, but I was amazed at how nice the receptionist was and caring and gentle dr meena hedge was! Highly recommend this branch!

Negative experience: Not a good experience. I have encountered the same issue, the dentist was chatting to her assistant while she did filling for me. As A result, the floss cannot go through the gap! And the filling was not done well. The filing was too thick on top of teeth and caused the upper and lower teeth on the other side couldn't touch each other when closing my month. Need to return to the clinic twice for fixing and clarifications. Today when I came to the clinic for check up and cleansing, I was found my booking was cancelled without any reason or notifications. i couldn't get any teeth check up done today and have to come another day. It was a terrible experience !! It's just waste my time!

Fantastic experience: Last Friday I had quite a bit of work done (including an extraction of a wisdom tooth). I was very impressed with the dentist who was calming and gentle in completing this work. After the numbing agent wore off I had zero pain or swelling. I would highly recommend Bupa Dental Toowong to friends.

Negative experience: Today was my first visit to BUPA Dental at Toowong. What a bad experiance. I enquired with the receptionist Step/ Stephnie if she can check and confirm if my BUPA health cover provides me a free check up before the start of the check up. She insisted it is free, after cleaning and general check up when I presented my BUPA card, she said she is not sure if I am covered. I was forced to pay $ 313. I asked her for her managers details so that I can take up this issue, Steph said ‘ she is here from a long time, so she is not bothered’ . Sorry BUPA your Toowong team needs training on basic information and how to politely speak to customers.

Negative experience: I presented with a very sore tooth, and very painful. I won’t mention the name of the dentist but she seemed more interested in taking X-rays to prop up the bill. As a soon to be health care professional it would be nice if health care practitioners followed the Ramsay Way “taking care of patients” not there wallets. Avoid this dental practice.

Negative experience: Was a great dental surgery every visit was a pleasure. The last visit was terrible the hygienist was terrible, the utensil she used was heating up and burnt my lips. She pulled the suction pipe against my cheeks and was very brutal at what she was doing. Hope she does not last long. I think she was indian or Malaysian, i think mellisa was her name

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience with the dental hygienist Zoe. She is gentle but thorough, full of helpful hints to keep your pearly whites shining brightly. Would recommend her to anyone especially those who are reluctant to sit in the dental chair.
