Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. Professional dentist and frinendly staff.

Negative experience: I came to this clinic only for a teeth cleaning, but was advised that I urgently needed a filling. After the filling, I started experiencing very serious symptoms: severe pain, constant headaches, sleepless nights for an entire week, facial swelling, and fever. This has had a huge impact on both my work and my mental health. The person who treated me was very unconfident and unprofessional. They had to use a lot of force and even dropped instruments during the procedure. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. What frustrates me the most is that before the filling, my tooth was not sensitive and not painful at all. Yet after the procedure, my whole face swelled up and I have been suffering continuously. As a full-time worker with a young child, it is not easy for me to take time off and return for more treatment. Overall, this has been an extremely disappointing and exhausting experience, and I truly hope the clinic reviews its standards of care to prevent this from happening to other patients.

Fantastic experience: Dentist who check and cleaned my teeth was patient, thorough and explained to me the task he was about to perform in every step. He answered my questions thoroughly.. He also checked to see if an x-ray was necessary as I could not remember the last time it was done.. Thoroughly enjoy the dental checkup experience. I’ll be doing my half yearly check up with Pacific Smiles .. highly recommended..

Fantastic experience: Dr David Mai is the best dentist I had since I live in Sydney and I tried many! He took time for the check up and clean like no one else. They also work on the weekends, that's so convenient!

Negative experience: Our family has been visiting this clinic for years. We've always been very happy with the doctors — they're professional, kind, and skilled. We've even recommended many friends and relatives. But what happened this time was honestly shocking. On July 14, we confirmed the tooth extraction plan and cost with the doctor. On July 15, we arrived on time — actually 20 minutes early — for the appointment. However, the front desk staff were completely unhelpful. They gave us two different versions of the cost, and when we tried to explain what the doctor had said, they showed no intention to verify or assist. There were three receptionists, all sitting there, and yet they chose to ignore us, offering nothing but a “please wait” while making no effort to follow up. We ended up waiting nearly an hour, well past our scheduled time, with zero communication. I had other commitments, so I finally decided to leave. I asked for the 3D dental X-ray I had paid for the day before. They lazily handed over two blurry, low-quality printouts, and only after I insisted several times did they reluctantly give me the proper disc. The doctors here are truly excellent — no complaints there. But the front desk is by far the weakest link in this clinic. If this were a one-off issue, I wouldn’t be writing this review. But this kind of customer neglect, delay, and total lack of accountability is unacceptable in any medical setting. I'm writing this in the hope that the clinic’s management will take this issue seriously — and that other potential patients can see the full picture: great doctors, but a front desk that makes you want to turn around and walk out.

Negative experience: I’ve been a loyal patient at this clinic for years, but today’s experience was the last straw. I scheduled a 4:00 PM appointment for my child’s filling and cleaning, yet after arriving on time, we were left sitting in the chair for 35 minutes without any service or explanation for the delay. If the clinic can’t honor its own confirmed appointment times, what’s the point of making appointments? As a parent, managing a child’s schedule and patience is hard enough—this kind of unprofessional treatment is unacceptable. After years of trust, one terrible experience was all it took to lose me as a customer. I will never return to this clinic and cannot recommend it to other parents. PS. When I asked to file a complaint, the front desk told me they don’t even have a complaint process—meaning they don’t care about patient concerns. If a clinic can’t honor appointments or listen to feedback, they don’t deserve anyone’s business.

Fantastic experience: Dentist Joshua lu is great He does his job skillfully. Normally I would get a toothpaste as a compliment on being a loyal client. I have not gotten the toothpaste for recent few treatments. Because I have a great Dentist attending me, otherwise I would go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Sung for over 10 years! I am so grateful and can never thank him enough for his kindness and caring and looking after my teeth so well all these years! His professionalism had saved me a lot of toothaches whenever I had problems in my teeth. Quite a number of times I suddenly had broken my teeth and endured severe pain and needed to see him for urgent treatments! He was so kind to skipping his lunch break to help me if he was fully booked! Therefore even after I had moved to upper north shore I still preferred driving 45 mins down to Ashfield to see him for all kinds of dental care because my teeth were under the good hands!

Negative experience: Pathetic service ....I would rate it 0 stars if i could. Asked to fill out a form amd then told I had to wait an hour after being told i would be served immediately. Non one was in the clinic at the time. Go to any other dental clinic but this one.

Negative experience: I don’t understand why this clinic keeps sending me phone messages reminding me that my two children’s dental check-ups are overdue. I thought it was the clinic I had visited before, but on the booked date, when I looked it up and found the address, I realized it wasn’t the one I intended to book with. It even felt like a scam. On top of that, they charged a no-show fee. Ridiculous! I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Fantastic experience: The staff at dynamic smile are wonderful, the facilities are great, very clean and modern and although I have only seen one dentist, Dr Joshua Lu, if he is anything to go by, I highly recommend this dental practice. Dr Lu was great at explaining everything in detail, reassuring me & ensuring that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I had root canal therapy & I was absolutely terrified beforehand but Joshua and the team reassured me & everything went smoothly and they are not overly expensive, considering what some dentist charge. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Joshua at Dynamic explained and showed me photos and I did not need the work I was previously told. Joshua explained thoroughly and took time with me. My 2nd visit a few weeks later was to get some necessary work done and it was painless and informative all the way through. I will go back there

Fantastic experience: My parents and I have been seeing Dr Sung since 2014 and now this year even my kids have started. He's been fantastic with everything from fillings to clean/scale/check ups and even wisdom tooth removal. Really caring and even better with kids (my 5yo actually wants to go back to see Dr Sung the dentist which I've never heard other kids say). Recommended to all my friends!

Negative experience: Great if you need Cantonese or Mandarin speaking dentists and nice they open all day Sunday. They called me to move my appointment 15mins earlier today but then were 25mins late. I came early to fill in new patient forms and receptionist basically scolded me for coming 15mins early. Super busy clinic but with 3 receptionist, I wish they were better organised.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Dynamic Smile for over 10 years. Appointments are always on time I never have to wait for more than 5 minutes. My dentist Dr. Beibei Peng is very proactive and made the whole implant process stress free. She coordinated the involvement of specialists perfectly so I didn't have to organise anything myself. After the implant she continues to deliver great care. The clinic in general is very efficient and the bilingual reception staff is exceptional in their professionalism and efficiency in juggling appointments. They would move mountains to accommodate their patients and are always calm and cheerful. I feel I am in great care whenever I have my visits.

Fantastic experience: Excellent friendly service. Very clean practice and very happy with my dentist. Always has time to answer questions and most appointments run on time. It’s always nice that there are no gap costs with my private Bupa insurance and you are given a free toothbrush and sample toothpaste after each visit.

Fantastic experience: Good experience with referral by Dr Shee to excellent periodontist, Dr Liew at Bondi Junction, for implant work and then with implant crown by Dr Shee who ensured result was perfect. Happy also with friendly and competent reception staff who made appointments and processed health fund claims. I will return for dental maintenance.
