Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had two and a half hours of dental surgery which was done under I/V Sedation and what a wonderful pleasant experience I had . Pain free all the way through my procedure which included 5 fillings /3 Crowns / 1 large extraction and teeth clean. Dr Bill and his wonderful staff gave me the utmost care with tenderness and consideration as having had bad experiences sometime ago with previous Dentists which had left me traumatized Dr Bill Kallis and his team knew exactly how to treat my anxiety. Overnight and next day no pain only 1 Panadol over night and next morning feeling back to normal . Such a very good experience 10/10 that I would recommend Dr Bill Kallis to everyone I speak to who are looking for the best Dentist they could find . My smile looks fantastic now . My confidence was quite low, I don’t smile a lot because of missing teeth and I carried a lot of tension in my face because I was never comfortable with the way I looked. Each staff member has been uniquely great in making me feel welcome and comfortable, I feel looked after here rather then just another patient, they want the end result just as much as I do and that means alot. If your worried about tooth extractions come to Dr Bill I was nervous as but I did not feel a thing and Bill had me laughing pre and post op was surprisingly a great experience.

I can still remember even after the first visit I became much more relaxed about an appointment with the dentist. Since my first visit about 2 years ago I had a fair bit work to be done, and now that it is all completed, I am extremely happy with end result. Fantastic experience: I'm having some dental work done, root canal, for the first time. I was pretty worried about the procedure as the cracks in my teeth are below the gum line. My teeth are already cranky. Dr Kalis suggested an oral sedation. I took a small amount in liquid form an hour before my appointment. That's it. The anxiety evaporates. So happy to have been offered this option. Dr Kalis is a brilliant dentist. He has been willing to tackle some tricky issues that my previous dentist would not. The practice also has a warm and welcoming culture. Hygienists, dental nurses, administrators are all delightful.

Negative experience: One of the worst dentist christine joseph i have ever met in padstow dental care. Last 3 weeks ago i visited for my hypersensitivity of my cavity filled tooth. She couldnot give me a proper advice and solutions instead to do deep cleaning and charged me alot. I never visited there and gone for another dental care in oatley where i found vast difference of consulting and solution of sensitivity tooth also he tried to save a cost on me. So i recommend you guys go for good and experienced dentist which gives you relief and satisfy more and fast.

Fantastic experience: One of the best decisions that I have made for myself was to go to Padstow Dental Centre. I had neglected my oral health for years (my last dentist visit was in 2014) and the condition of my gums were deteriorating. I put off going to a dentist for so long, mainly due to the fear of going to the dentist, as well as having anxiety and worrying that I would be judged for my poor oral health. It took a lot of courage but I had finally booked an appointment in August 2022, after looking through all of the positive reviews for this dental clinic. On the first appointment, I was very nervous (even though it was only a thorough examination for the first visit) but Bill was very professional and made me feel at ease. He put together a treatment plan for me which outlines all of the costs of the treatments and what the treatment will involve. This was very handy for me as I had no surprises when it came to paying for my appointments (and sometimes I would pay less than what was outlined, thanks to my private health insurance). After the consultation was done, my first treatment was a debridement (I think that's what it was called?). This treatment was done by Christine. Christine was also very professional and made me feel very comfortable, despite being very worried about having needles in my gums; one of my biggest fears. After this appointment, the condition of my gums and teeth had drastically improved, and I started to feel more happier with my teeth. I had worried for a couple of years that the condition of my gums and teeth were irreversible, but that was proven wrong after only one treatment. I also had many fillings done by Bill, which I was also worried about (as I had always been scared of needles and have never needed a filling) however after each treatment at the dentist, it only gets easier and easier. I never thought I would enjoy going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to my appointments. Jorge is also another member of the Padstow Dental Centre team; I see him regularly for my teeth cleaning and general checkups. He's very caring, friendly, and is always willing to answer the hundreds of questions that I always have whenever I see him. I would 100% recommend Padstow Dental Centre to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much to the whole team, you have definitely helped me feel much happier and positive, and my oral health has only gone up from here. I am so happy with my gums and teeth!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Padstow Dental for many years. My children have always enjoyed going to the going to the dentist and have never been afraid. Dr Bill Kalis has a genuine concern and care for his patients, as do all the dental hygienists and staff that work within the practice. Everyone is so gentle, thorough and professional. After years and years of headaches/migraines Christine, my dental hygienist suggested I may be a candidate for Botox injections in my jaw to relax the muscle, and possibly alleviate the headaches/migraines. I consulted with Dr Bill Kalis and he confirmed I was a good candidate. One week on from my treatment, I can honestly say I have not had one headache, let alone a migraine. I was expecting it would take a few weeks to show any kind of results. So one week is an outstanding result for someone who has not gone a day without a headache in years. I am ecstatic about the almost immediate result and I am also so thankful for the concern and aftercare. I received a call the next day to se how I was feeling, and then today while I was at the practice for an appointment for my children Dr Bill also popped his head in to check and see how I was tracking. I am so grateful to Dr Bill and The Padstow Dental Centre team for all their care and amazingly professional service.

Fantastic experience: After 11 years of not going to the dentist due to fear, I knew it was time for me to get an oral check up. I did a local Google Search and found Padstow Dental had the most wonderful reviews of patients with similar apprehension of dentists as I did. Dr Bill Kalis and his Team are absolutely fantastic. He took his time to ensure my procedures were pain free. My only regret is that I didn’t find this Practice years earlier

Positive experience: The trip left me feeling happy and motivated to take care of my tooth better. The dental hygienist Jorge managed is very passionately educating me about my own teeth, what to look out for in X ray, etc (not in condescending way of course, in fact it’s entertaining and helpful). The cost of cleaning somehow varies depending on the professional, we noticed the principal dentist charge significantly more for cleaning than their dental hygienist. May be a different treatment but something to keep in mind.

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin! Dr Kalis is awesome! The ladies were all so lovely and sweet! My experience was the best I have ever experienced anywhere. Dr Kalis educated me with everything I needed to know about the state my teeth were in. Time was not an issue for him, I was more concerned about his time. Dr K went through so so so much and gave me realistic idea of where my teeth were and what and how it will be soooo easy to fix and way cheaper then what I was worrying about. He’s so realistic and looks at everything. I think I’ve found my dentist. Finally!

Fantastic experience: I have been to numerous local and not so local dentists over recent years. However I was never happy with any despite several visits. Now I have found the best dentist ever. I suffer anxiety when visiting dentists just for a check up, yet Dr Kalis and his extremely warm and welcoming staff eased my fears immediately. From the moment I entered the surgery I was warmly welcomed by all the staff, then my consultation with Dr Kalis was amazing. Firstly we talked about what were my expectations of him as my dentist and we talked about my dental history before he even looked in my mouth. He was interested in learning about me as a patient and what I needed. After chatting Dr Kalis did a thorough exploration of my mouth, jaw and teeth, took x-rays which he then put up on the large screen to clearly explain my dental care and used a camera to live screen my teeth and explained their condition and what needed to be done. I was left with a very positive and pleasant experience and feel very comfortable to return for my next two bookings. The facilities are very modern and clean. If you dislike dentists then a visit to Padstow Dental Centre will change that mindset forever. Thank you very much to Dr Kalis and his lovely team .

Fantastic experience: The team at Padstow Dental Centre go above and beyond for patient care. I recently went to Padstow Dental Centre as a recommendation from a friend, and I am so glad I did. Dr Bill and the team are always so friendly and informative. Christine gave my teeth the best clean I've ever had, she was very helpful with giving me tips on how to best clean my teeth. As someone who does not live in the Padstow area, it is definitely worth the travel.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience and service from start to finish! I tend to avoid dentists, but a friend reffered me to Bill so I came all the way from Ryde for a long over due clean and to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out (which I have been avoiding for a long time). To say that I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail of Bill and the staff is an understatement. I have never been to a medical related practise like it. They take a very personal approach to their patients, and take the time to understand you and you goals. They are also a very high tech facility with all the x-ray equipment on site, saving me a lot of time having to get reffered on to an imaging centre. To top it all off, the whole wisdom teeth procedure (all 4!) was over in 1 hour. My recovery was unbelievely fast, I woke up the next day with no pain or swelling. None of my family and friends who had had their wisdom teeth out could believe how quick I bounced back. Bill is a miracle worker! Overall, I cannot fault a single thing about Padstow Dental Care. I highly recommend trying them, you will never go to another dentist again!

Fantastic experience: I needed a new dentist, so I made an appointment at padstow detail centre. My first impression, I thought how clean and fresh the surroundings looked, which is even more important in this day and age.The dentist took the time to get to know my dentail history, look into all my concerns and discuss my options. I was so impressed with the level of care that I was given on my visit. The staff where very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I look forward to my next visit.

Fantastic experience: I had an experience 12 years ago that has made me claustrophobic in more than the usual sense of the word. I've been unable to have proper dental work done as I couldn't have a needle (the numbing sensation instantly brought on a panic attack) and I felt I couldn't breath or swallow even during a standard cleaning procedure. The last time I tried to have proper work done (as opposed to patching) I had a panic attack. My teeth were causing big problems and I had no option but to do something. I was referred to Dr Bill Kalis as Padstow Dental Centre has an Anesthetist if needed, and also offer a 'calming' drink for less invasive procedures. After a meeting with Bill to discuss my issues, I returned for a very in depth clean (it had been a while) after having the calming drink. I was amazed. Bill taught me to concentrate on breathing properly to stay relaxed. He checks on you at all times (as do his truly amazing assistants). I then returned and had an anesthetic for the preparation of 3 crowns and an extraction. I was slightly nervous but no panic attack in sight. I was only fully out to it at the very end when the tooth was extracted. On my next visit to have the crowns inserted I only had the calming drink. When I go next year for my clean I won't be having anything. I feel completely safe and so comfortable in his and his team's hands. They are an amazing, caring bunch of people. I cannot recommend their services highly enough, especially if you have any nerves or phobias about visiting a dentist. I cannot explain how grateful I am to them and what a huge difference this has made in my life. Thank you!

My husband and I have been patients for a few years now and our 3 year old just had his first check up - Jorge was fantastic and I think my son actually enjoyed the experience! Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say i cannot recommend Dr Bill Kalis and his team of amazing staff enough. I had avoided dentists for a very long time due to horrible experiences with other dentists in the past. Dr Kalis's initial meeting was one of the most informative and reassuring experiences i could have imagined, we discussed all my fears, concerns and outcomes whilst he reassured me on the best direction to take with special regard for pain management. He listened to all my previous experiences and made sure that i was comfortable and pain free before beginning any work. We have a detailed plan that is all laid out to ease any anxiety with each session and know exactly what is going to happen at each appointment. Dr Kalis is very thorough, detailed and passionate about his profession and i cannot thank him enough for the ease of my anxiety and concerns both during my first procedure and moving forward. Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Padstow Dental Centre enough. I was petrified of going to the dentist before coming here . I needed all new top teeth and a new denture , that meant having lots of teeth pulled. I wanted to be sedated for everything. I didn’t need sedation at all !!!. Everything was so gently done and the staff are amazing. They made me feel calm at every appointment. I now have a beautiful new smile and I’m very confident in going to the dentist in the future.
