Negative experience: Booked an appointment for 2pm and got them just on time. as I sat down I had heard the 2 workers talking about me because I’d rang up and forgot if it was at 2 or 2:30. either way I made it on time, I had then said I am here and they said huh and I repeated myself then they didn’t say anything. obviously being they had known I heard them talking about me. Made me feel so uncomfortable and should never feel uncomfortable

Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Martin Vale for many years, and every appointment has been excellent. Usually I go for a check-up, which is quick and hassle-free. I had my wisdom tooth removed here and whilst that was a little anxiety-inducing, they kept me well-informed and made it very much a stress-free time. What I also appreciate alongside them being very accommodating, is that they genuinely care about their patients on what they're up to and how they're doing. Luke and Bree are the dentist dream team! The dynamic duo. Hats off to them. I can't thank them enough for helping me make sure all the teeth I have remain healthy and making appointments a very easy time. As contradictory as this sentence is, they are my favourite dentistry, and I have no qualms when I visit for an appointment.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend them enough! They are always so accommodating, helpful and extremely experienced and make you feel at ease with anything you need done. The nurses and front desk staff are so lovely and welcoming. I recently took my 11 month old in with me to an appointment and they were so lovely towards him, giving him a sticker and glove balloon to keep him occupied. The dental nurse even did a mini tooth check to help get him used to being in the chair when he’s older, they really do go above and beyond!

Fantastic experience: l've never recommended a dentist before now, and have been to many in Melbourne and overseas in my 50+ years. This family biz is top notch. The facility is spotless, with all the latest "tooth tech". Luke explains things clearly, showing me exactly what's going on with my choppers so l can make informed decisions as needed. Aside from checkups, cleans and general maintenance, I've had root canal, crowns and cosmetic chip repairs done there over the last 6 years or so and wouldn't go anywhere else now. His work is fantastic, and the whole team is lovely (with a special mention to Bree!). No one's ever happy about going to a dentist, so you need to find the right one. For mine, this is it.

Having an emergency, I was desperate to get into a dentist. They were very obliging and fitted me in on that day. Feeling very ordinary and unsure of what was going to happen, I was overwhelmed by the warmth, amazing support and expertise I received from Luke. From that day, I have continued to receive excellent support at very competitive rates. Sitting in the waiting room (not a long waiting time) I have also noticed the that every other patient is treated with the same respect and care from every member of the team. Negative experience: I was very disappointed with my experience from such a highly recommended dental clinic. I had called up to make an emergency appointment because I have a very obvious protrusion that is very painful and I can't get in to my regular dentist for several weeks. I was very impressed that they were able to offer me an emergency appointment for the next day. The reception staff were lovely and the waiting room very welcoming however thats where it stopped. Once in with the dentist he asked me to explain the issue, asking a couple of additional questions then he took a very brief look before saying that he couldn't see anything besides a little bit of inflammation with no obvious protrusion and to utilise bonjela and pain relief and wait to get in to my regular dentist. The protrusion is still there with a very obvious crater and can be easily felt with a gloved finger. The consult went less than 10 minutes and I got a feeling like he was almost trying to fob me off because he had somewhere else to be. I was then charged $70 for a simple consult with no real examination or resolve.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I need a fair bit of work, but have avoided the dentist out of embarrassment and anxiety. Luke, and the nurse who’s name I can’t recall, made me feel so much better, and helped me create a plan that fits my timeline and budget. I would never have been able to get over my fear and embarrassment without them!

Luke and his lovely team gave me a beautiful smile. I needed a lot of work done and no one makes you feel bad about your teeth they just want to give you the best smile ever. I would highly recommend Luke and the beautiful team of girls for anyone of any age. I believe Luke is the greatest dentist I've ever seen and im 53 years old. Nothing is too hard for them.

Negative experience: Horrendous experience , a filling had fallen out and I expected it to be redone BUT without any real discussion the dentist pulled it and it was extremely painful. I'd explained to him that I was on a public denture waiting list and my teeth were not good at all. However, his lack of compassion and empathy was totally lacking.

Fantastic experience: I'm so so glad that I came to know Dr Luke and his staffs in Martin Vale Dentistry ,as we all know well the cost of dental treatment is not only very dear but also we don't have much knowledge and we cannot see our tooth so before visiting this Martin Vale Dentistry I thought that I have to spend at least $10,000 but when I met Dr Kuke for the first time ,he explained the option that I can choose from so patiently and kindly ,at that time I felt TRUST in his clinic because my previous dentist hardly explained these things to me so I wished that I should have met him much earlier, so I have to travel alot as I live in Parkville but it's not really matter, rather it's worth to travel and I really enjoy visit him with my sister as she became also one of his patients, these days I talk about this clinic often as I know that we need this kind of care more than ever .Also all staffs are so kind and genuine, I feel that I'm very well cared for . Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience getting my wisdom teeth out with Dr Luke under sedation. I loved that this was available as an option without having to travel out of Bendigo. I slept through the entire appointment and have no memory at all of the procedure. Dr Luke and Dr Barry were caring and attentive throughout the lead up to the appointment and on the day - my nerves were entirely reassured. I would definitely recommend sedation, even if you aren't overly nervous about the procedure. It was a great option for having my wisdom teeth taken out in the chair and I would choose sedation again!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and service! I suffer from severe anxiety and dental anxiety due to previous negative experiences with other practices. Luke and all of the friendly staff put me right at ease from the get go. I previously had both wisdom teeth pulled from the left side of my mouth, Luke and Martin pulled the last 2 remaining, it was quick and painless despite the fact it should have been a difficult extraction. The Martin Vale team will always ensure you are seen to if you have a dental emergency and their pricing structure is very fair. Easiest 5 star review I’ve ever given.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing team, helped me every step of the way through a TAC claim to get my teeth fixed from a car accident, they were extremely flexible with working appointments around my job, they were always keeping me up to date with appointments and what was getting done, they helped me understand the aftercare of the work done and every appointment I was met with a smile and warm greeting! Fantastic experience: I would like to give a massive thumbs up to Martin Vale dentistry. They went above and beyond today to help us out. My daughter only gets seen to at the dentistry department at the royal children's hospital. When her wire snapped last night on her braces. We called every dentist in bendigo and majority of them said they would not touch her being a complex case from the children's where these guys stepped up and said yep bring her down. Not only did they fit us in straight away but they stayed open longer to try and help her. From dealing with something they had never seen before they were amazing and they have temporarily fixed it until we can get back down to Melbourne. They were a god sent and now I have my happy smiling daughter back with cuts and ulcers from the wire. I highly recommend them thanks guys so much its really appreciated!!!
