Fantastic experience: I've been here twice and both times, I was seen by Dr. Naveed Hassan, who was exceptional. He always greeted me with a smile and took his time to see me and explained matters thoroughly. He accomodated my questions with efficiency. Overall, I am very satisfied with his care. The receptionist and the nurse were also good.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional Behaviour by Nurse. We have little one who was born overseas needs vaccination done. Went there first visit nurse was busy she will call after 24 hours . We waited 3-4 days no answer. Called back again was told nurse will call us. After few days called again nurse told us she has uploaded records of child into medicare history and someone will call us once here Immunisation is due. After few days she turned one year we keep waiting but lucky today we went to another Medical centre and Guess nurse told us no one has uploaded her records while we we’re waiting she did it in 5 minutes and we received certificate of her immunisation. Fact some people really takes their job as granted we could have been still waiting if we followed that nurse instructions .

Negative experience: If you're booking an appointment with Dr. Abdul Mensur, be prepared for a long wait. Every time I've booked him, he has been running at least an hour late. Today, I waited with my 2-year-old for an hour, and during that time, two patients who arrived after us were seen before us. When I asked the receptionist about the delay, she told me not to "attack" her, as she couldn’t get hold of the doctor. I’m not sure why they can’t inform the doctor when patients are waiting, but it seemed like he wasn’t even aware we were there. This lack of communication and poor queue management makes the experience very frustrating, especially with a young child.

Negative experience: I recently visited this clinic and had a mixed experience. The medical staff, especially the doctors and nurses, are absolutely fantastic. The doctors are attentive, take the time to listen to concerns, and provide clear explanations and compassionate care. A special mention to the nurse on duty during my visit—she was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. However, the reception staff were a different story. They were cold, unwelcoming, and appeared disengaged. At times, they were even borderline rude, which set an unfortunate tone upon arrival. It’s disappointing because the exceptional care provided by the medical team deserves better support at the front desk. If the clinic can address the issues with their reception staff, it would truly enhance the overall patient experience. Despite this, I would still recommend the clinic for its outstanding medical team.

Negative experience: Called prior to coming in advising that I will be 10 mins late. Doctor and reception made me wait close to an hour. When I approached the reception and asked why am I waiting so long, the arrogant lady raised her voice and started to speak disrespectfully telling me I was late and I should just sit my turn would come. Then went on lying that I was 25 mins late

Negative experience: I was a patient here for 10 years. I am not working at the moment don't receive centrelink don't get a healthcare card and now they want to charge $65 to get a depression script. Where should I pull that money from. The receptionist is rude and doesn't care at all. It's all about the money not about care anymore. Have now gone elsewhere that bulk bills.

Negative experience: Had to wait for more than an hour for an appointment of 15 minutes. If you are a patient, your time is not valuable. They will tell you to arrive 10 minute early but they can’t ensure you any timely service. Great!!!

Fantastic experience: I was in the clinic this morning when a super disorderly man was verbally abusing the reception staff for not letting him in early. He was very aggressive, which caused a baby to cry, but the staff remained super professional and calm throughout the whole ordeal. I've been here a few times and the staff have always been really kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to this clinic for quite some time now and have been nothing but treated well by not only the doctors but also all the staff that are employed at this clinic. The ladies at reception have been extremely helpful when needing assistance as well as welcoming their customers on arrival. Each time I’m in need of an appt the ladies at reception always able to fit me in when need an emergency appt which I’m obviously extremely grateful for. I’ve seen a couple of different doctors there when my regular doctor isn’t there and feel confident with them all. Forever grateful for Doctors and staffing at this clinic.

Negative experience: FAMILY medical centre what a JOKE At 8:50am this morning I went to get my Bloodtest done, at the time I urgently needed to use the bathroom, the two ladies opened up the doors (I’m aware they open at 9am as I’ve been many times( I politely asked if I could please use the bathroom; and return outside and wait till they opened. I received no you can’t as the answer. A family medical centre is going to refuse a person the use of amenities for the sake of their 10 minutes? At 9am when the doors opened, I approached the desk and asked for the managements number, and the woman’s name who decided I was so far beneath her to use the bathroom I was met with the ‘acting manager’ who sad excuse for existence was to say, bad luck, go to maccas If you want to use the bathroom (mind you it’s no where near the clinic) Absolutely disgusting attitude, and a pathetic excuse for a human being, at what point do you wake up in the morning and decide be that kind of human being, even the ladies at clinical labs pathology were disgusted and apologised to me, not that they even had to! The receptionists at this supposed family clinic need a reality check, and by the sounds of the other reviews I’m not the first, and unfortunately not the last!

Negative experience: 0 or negative stars for the receptionist’s inhuman attitude. Walked in with an infant (5 month) who were developing rashes on stomach with fever. They didn't even care and said no appointments are available. She said she can put my kid on waiting list and that she would call back if they are any cancellations. We waited in the clinic for 2 hours, all doctors were leaving without seeing my kid. We found this to be so unethical on doctors part. I am sure doctors had no idea that there is a walk in patient. We requested receptionist again if she can squeeze us in for 2 mins atleast and we were denied this time again and were told there is only one doctor now and he is fully booked out. We managed to convince the nurse who said she would talk to the doctor over the phone. Receptionist came towards us aggressively saying doctor cannot see us or that we have to go any other clinic or take her to a hospital if thats urgent. We said let the doctor decide on that part but she refused and insisted that we leave immediately. We were threatened every time we tried to speak to them and we felt both receptionists were racist towards us. I believe in Karma. So all the best to those 2 receptionists.

Negative experience: I really preferred this clinic to begin with as I was very impressed with some great doctors here, but I had a really rough confrontation with one of the reception staff Emma. We all know that whenever we visit a medical centre, despite our confirmed booking time, it is usually always a wait of at least 20 mins upto 1 hour at times. I had an appointment booked at this clinic for 1230, I however arrived 10 minutes late for the appointment as I nearly had an accident on the way and could not manage to call them to let them know I was running 10 mins late. As I got there I tried to explain Emma the receptionist at desk the situation, and she straight away refused any assistance saying it is too late she cannot do anything. I requested again saying that I am happy to wait even for an hour if she can fix something, however she did not even try and in full attitude said no and asked us to leave. She did not even showed any concern or consumer care factor at all as to the reasons of delay and urgency of appointment and without even listening, just said no we are too late. Really? Late for 10 mins and denied appointment even I was willing to wait for an hour for my turn? I would understand this as a fair deal if we get to see the doctor at the time we booked, but even if we have a booking for a fixed time, we still have to wait so I dont understand how this works? All about money and nothing about consumer care. Well I am never visiting this centre again but even if I did and demanded to be seen by the doctor at the booked time, would they do that? Ofcourse not.

Negative experience: Very upset and disappointed. The receptionist was helpful and nice. But can't say the same about the Dr. No patient TLC, almost came across as rude. When I made a complaint, the manager told me to "go home and clear your head before returning to the clinic."

Negative experience: I wish there should be an option for no stars at all and if possible the negative rating... This Incident happened on 9th June when I went to the local clinic with my 10 years old kid who had a really bad accident in his school with his broken tooth, broken arm and multiple injuries on his face and leg. There were two receptionist at the reception and both instead of attending the kids and providing the quick first aid they refuse to attend the child and asked to leave the clinic immediately just because I didn't have a prior appointment with them. I was shocked with their reaction, how the hell I would know my son will have an accident that day and that time so I could book an appointment in advance. What if they have the same situation and there is NO ONE DOCTOR to attend them. For the Clinic: I wish they would have provided sufficient training to all their receptionists to use their common sense in special circumstances and not just look at the calendar. Since I was worried about my son I went straight to the Riverdale village clinic for the first time and I was surprised that as soon the receptionist saw my boy, she straight away called the nurse and requested the doctor to come and attend my son immediately This is called humanity not just the business. I am writing this review so management can take necessary action in future and someone else can be benefited the way I got in other clinic.

Negative experience: We attend this medical clinic as our regular doctor for my self and my 7 month old. There is a receptionist who is rude and has no concept of patient care. The wait times are 30minutes plus, even if you call ahead to confirm their running schedule. Doctors do well at their job. Receptionists need to be replaced ASAP

Negative experience: Very rude and irresponsible receptionist. They had some issue with insurance provider and not able to charge bill directly from there, due to some technical issue during the time of appointment. And then, they never try again to charge bill to insurance provider next days instead charging the bill to patient as outstanding bill. Why they didn’t sort out the problem with insurance provider at first place and let the patient go back without asking for payment during the time of appointment? Why they never try again to charge the bill to insurance provider on the other days, instead sending notice letters to patient? All she was saying is pay for the bill now and sort the issue out with your insurance provider.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time going to this medical centre and I was able to get into it last minute on a Saturday! The receptionist was lovely and was able to accomodate. Unfortunately I was 10min late but thankfully I had Dr Fouzia and she was very nice and understanding about my lateness and not only that but she was able to pull out an ear bud that has been stuck in my ear for a while. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend dr Fouzia enough! She is compassionate and easy to talk to. Wait times are very normal for a busy bulk billing clinic - People leaving negative reviews need to get a grip. If you are not happy with the service, go and pay privately elsewhere. I can’t imagine how hard the staff’s job would have been the past 2 years.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but amazing things to say about this clinic. Lovely and welcoming receptionists and the nurse is very kind and approachable. Not to mention the GP, Dr Maila Bongcayao, she’s so far the best doctor I went to since then and now. Very professional and very thorough. She knows what she’s doing and she really asks probing questions to ensure she has the right diagnosis and medication for you. Highly recommended. Negative experience: If there is a ZERO star rating here, I would select that to give the nurse (an indian lady) a 0 Rating. Very rude, not accommodating and very unprofessional. Was telling I just could not remember name of my clinic, requested politely if I can check it for 5mins and come back, I was asked rudely 'how long will I take' and I say just 5mins. I was rushed and was told very rudely that there are other scheduled patients that will come - even though it was not too busy (2-3 patients). On a positive note, had a great experience with Doctor Hassan and the nurse at the reception.

The nursing staff have been working exceptionally hard providing 100's of covid vaccinations each week and I am sure there was no intent to distress any of our patients.

Negative experience: I've been here a couple of times however not in the past year and due to this I cannot get a telehealth appointment when I'm really sick and cannot go in due to symptoms similar to covid although I have done the test and it's come back negative twice. So disappointing that you can't even get help when you need it.

Negative experience: Very poor service, I had a telehealth appointment booked for 10am with Dr Ahmjad and did not receive the call. I contacted Tarneit Family Medical and Dental centre to double check my appointment and was confirmed that my appointment is correct and that the doctor is running behind schedule. I understood and waited patiently, come 1.40pm and still no call so again I call to see what was happening and I was advised that the doctor was with a patient and will contact me straight after. 4.37pm and I'm still waiting...Very bad and poor service, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone!!

Negative experience: Very very disappointing. Receptionist is extremely rude. We went for our 16 months old child. She is teething and so having loose motions and had some fever yesterday. She called doctor to check if he can take new patient. Doctor was happy to take but Receptionist refused saying can't take your child cos she had fever. And the worst thing is she was very very rude with the words and attitude. I would never suggest anyone to go for this medical centre.

Negative experience: Not too sure what to say again about tarnet Family Medical Centre I booked an appointment to have a full medical health check done on myself due to chronic lower back pain and nerve damage to my lower back and nerve damage done both my legs and weak lung conditions I am 32 years of age and my lungs are the age of a 67 year olds these are conditions that are recorded from the hospitals and these doctors here at Tarneit Family Medical Centre my GP Dr Navid and Dr amjad I think that's how you pronounce the name so due to my medical conditions I've tried to see if there is any way I can be exempt from the vaccine and they refused me my rights to being exempt from the vaccine due to medical conditions now they have discriminated against me and told me the best thing is for me to do is get the vaccine straight away with no thinking so my partner after 2 weeks of thinking about it knowing that if we weren't vaccinated by the 15th that we were going to lose our job so my partner has had the vaccine and now she can #magnetize #magnets spoons and forks to her chest there's something wrong with this vaccine and these doctors are also following the corrupted government and are forcing people to take the vaccines especially these two doctors I'm going to speak to my lawyer and find out my rights and would love to take these guys to court if there is anyone else out there that's having problems with these similar things please stand up and do something about it

Tarneit Family Medical and Dental Centre

I am sorry you have had a bad experience when calling the clinic.
Unfortunately since last Wednesday our doctors have had to work off-site due to the notification by the Department that there had been a close contact with a positive covid case. Since then as there could be no-one on-site all calls
are being diverted to a call centre who are making the appointments until we are able to return.
We are following the instructions by the Health Department, to enable a quick and safe return for all our staff and patients.

Negative experience: Receptionists never told that my nephew can't get his 2nd pfizer doze when made the booking 3 weeks ago and called 1week ago to advance it.. very poor service not checking patient history when issuing appointments and wasting time.

Negative experience: Not sure why the receptionist told me that I can’t book my daughter’s second dose of pfizer there since I clearly saw on HoTDoc that they had available spots!!! Does it matter whether we are a current patient there??!!! Please clarify!

Negative experience: Dr. Nusrat Parveen is the most egoistic and rude doctor I have ever met. She’s a dr. But still she doesn’t know how to deal with the person who is in the stressful situation. She doesn’t have any nice or kind words to say but she can make you feel like you’re the careless person. I never ever want to see her again. She needs to be more understanding and careful with her words specially in this tough (COVID) time. Because definitely she doesn’t know how someone is going through in this time. On the other side receptionists and the other staff are very helpful and understanding. And Dr. Naveed Hassan is one of the good doctor.

Fantastic experience: All the stuff at the reception is very friendly n nice. Dr. Amjad Hafizullah and Dr.Naveed are very experienced and professional doctors there. Dr. Amjad is our son's gp and he is always very supportive, have huge respect for him. Its a great place, the only thing they should work on is to reduce the waiting time for patients, other than that they deserve 5 stars

Negative experience: Wanted to make appointment for first time as new to area. Called up and as soon as it was answered I heard shuffling, there was no greeting and was put straight on hold for over 5 minutes without being asked. Going elsewhere.

Negative experience: This place is the worst place to get yourself checked in. The receptionist are the rudest people I have ever meet, they seem to take joy in rejecting people, and surprise surprise a certain doctor seem to be on the same dose of fun as the receptionist. Lack of professionalism. Lack of care to any patients. Money Hungry. Rude at all time. Speaking from experience, this is the 5th time I have been to this place. To spare you the disrespect, find another Medical Centre.

Negative experience: Highly IRRESPONSIBLE staff. No coordination amongst themselves and often lost for clarity. They never respect the time of customers / patients. They called me 8 days back, and they initiated a booking my mother for Covid vaccination. During the call, they confirmed that my mother is on Private Insurance. Then they re-confirmed the appointment and private insurance yesterday and again today at 0941. Upon reaching the clinic, they tell us that there is a Government update that only patients with medicare are vaccinated at clinics while Private Insurance holders need to go to Hospitals. This, AFTER the receptionists called me and confirmed the Private Insurance thing 2 wks back, yesterday and at 0941 today, for an appointment of 1140. On reaching the clinic, they sent us away..!! There were only 2 members at reception and both don't know who called me at 0941 TODAY, let alone yesterday. They want me to believe it. And they say the "Government Update" was a "recent" one. More recent than 0945 but before 1136..??

Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 star to this facility. I went this place as i was suffering from too much legs pain. They put me with Dr Sue Lee but doctor’s behaviour was not good at all. Before even go to the room she said to me please do quick as other patients are waiting.. i was thinking like seriously.... then she started conversation and said ok tell me what happen, I started and said i am having too much pain in my legs which I could not tolerate anymore and she stopped me and said this will be not quick conversation as i need to ask you many more questions... i was sitting there and thinking that what does she mean from quick conversation, i mean if i tell her that i am having headaches or something else she still need to ask me the reason or history. If she was running behind that was not my fault so i just walked out without any opinion or medication or any advise and i will not recommend this place and will not go there specially to that doctor anymore in future. She was not friendly or helpful at all which she should be as a doctor .

Negative experience: had to wait in the waiting room for 45, that was until we got served. multiple people walked in and was seen in immediately. went to get my braces wire snipped, they did it in the reception room area in full view of everyone else. charged $30.00 for 2 seconds of work.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. I was made to feel like a script chasing junkie because I had a cracked tooth repaired earlier that day and required some pain relief. In the end I tried to talk him out of giving me something because the way I was made to feel. Not just normal prescription or pain relief questions. Trying to get me to slip up or ask for the strongest one ect. Never again.

Fantastic experience: Great service from staff at reception, very friendly and helpful with process of moving records etc, and seemed to adapt well to COVID precautions. Waiting area set up in such a way that I don't feel concerned about what I'll catch while there! Yes, often a wait past appointment time but nothing over norm for a bulk billing clinic. Dr Paul Do has been the only empathetic doctor I've had- listens, curious to get to cause of symptoms instead of just medicating to get me out the door.

Negative experience: Always have to wait at least 30 ninutes and thats after booking the appmt. I understand it can happen some time but can't be every single time. They book appmt for 10 min slot - and I am sure they are aware on an average 10 min isnt enough. Hope they learn and improve.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to this clinic for around 2 years. Dr.amjad, Dr. Shyamen and Dr.Naveed are really nice, friendly and qualified doctors. Waiting times can take between 15-30 minutes at busy times but i would consider this a norm in Australia.
