Coastal Dental Care Banora Point

Negative experience: I would not recommend this clinic I spent thousands of dollars on crowns. Only to be left with uneven teeth at the front. I am now having to spend more for it to be fixed to give me the smile I was told i would have. I contacted the clinic on many occasions but with no reply.

Positive experience: It used to be a good dental practice but once Carlos the dentist left it has not been quite the same. Also they now charge, even with Bupa extras cover very disappointing, obviously they are now a mixed billing practice however they fail to advertise this change to their loyal customers. I've changed Dentists now so I'm happy with my decision.

Fantastic experience: I phoned for an an appointment and was contacted with confirmation due to a cancellation. I had a front tooth filling completed by Rowena and her assistant and this was the best procedure I have ever experienced with a dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous going in for my appointment, however Dr Bethany was very good at making me comfortable and the procedure was pain free with a good result. I have already recommended to my family!

Negative experience: This WAS our go to dentist until this evening’s disappointing service. Waited nearly 30 minutes without so much as a “sorry we are running late or behind” from Melissa at reception. After ringing the bell to find out how much longer the appointment will be, all I got was a “sorry we are behind” from a dental nurse..because Melissa obviously clocked off at 5pm so was in such a rush decided not to tell me they were running VERY late!!! Maybe if the practice is running so far behind a courtesy call could have been made??? I wasted 30mins of my time sitting in the waiting room without any communication about what was going on, extremely poor customer service. Plenty of dentists in the area, I guess I’ll take my families appointments and health fund elsewhere!!

Fantastic experience: All i can say is , if dentist Dr Kneebone had 10 stars he would be an 11 not 5. This man was awesome , after years of going to highend dentists coming home nothing. I seen doctor kneebone 3 weeks before my wedding and my teeth were porcelain shinning bright and he worked effortlessly till late at night to make sure i had a smile on my beautiful wedding day. He also sent me to the man of dentures dr Novak at broadwater 2 days before my big day. I came home with beautiful teeth. I highly recommend both. Thank you both so much you have changed my life truly.these guys 100

Fantastic experience: They play Friends while they do their thing. 5 stars just for that. But yeah they are also very accomodating, professional and great at explaining things.

Negative experience: Excellent care and service. The most comfortable I've been at a Dentist I'm dropping this to 2 Stars. Edit Appointment was made and I couldn't make it due to a cough. They rescheduled but didn't put the appointment in the records. I turn up in pain and am treated poorly by the front desk person. I won't be back. To avoid any confusion - I record all my calls and the appointment was definitely for when I arrived.

Negative experience: Went in with some teeth grinding issues. I was told the mouthguard would cost me 600$. The whole appointment was 2 mins and costed me 50$ just to be given an insanely outlandish price for a piece of plastic. Thanks!!

I always said I would rather give birth to a baby than visit the dentist, have changed my mind would definitely prefer Bethany to do a clean much easier and cheaper. Yes I will definitely be back uh actually Friday I also required a filling but I can definitely do this as long as Bethany is by my side. Thank you ladies.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Coastal Dental ‘Care’ more. My son had his front tooth knocked out playing cricket. It was 11.45 on a Saturday and I was desperately trying to find an emergency dentist. After several calls and frantic google searching. I rang Coastal Dental Care. The receptionist put me on hold and spoke to the on call dentist who immediately said yes. The relief was immense. After arriving the care was second to none. We attending again two weeks later for further treatment. I feel so lucky to have experienced this brilliant dental surgery at such a traumatic time. Amazing team who are so professional, brilliant and confident but most of all they really ‘Care’. Thank you so very much.

Fantastic experience: I'll give 5 stars to Dr Jason Bulmer(DENTIST), Britta(DA) and Mellisa Receptionist, they were all very professional and nice. Jason explained everything as he went along and Britta was very good with her suction and in taking X-ray's. I was nervous about getting my teeth cleaned due to sensitive but they were really gentle. I didn't feel much. I recommend Jason to anyone whose looking for a dental check up since I think his a very good dental officer and a big thanks to Britta. Well done team.

Fantastic experience: It’s never fun going to a dentist. But Coastal Dental Care at Banora Point do a bang up job of making the experience a little easier. I saw Doctor Bethany and she did a swell job of patching up my bung tooth, although I never have anxiety going to see a dentist I imagine some who does would feel much more comfortable with her! Also they have tv’s on the roof people!! Why aren’t all dental surgeries doing this! The time flew by as I lay back watching the telly!

The other staff are always pleasant and friendly. The reception staff are likewise, helpful and pleasant to deal with. It is just a pleasure to go there.

I had a difficult problem to treat which Dr Cabrera managed thoroughly, professionally and without discomfort. Fantastic experience: I had an emergency extraction on Saturday, Dr Jeremy & his nurse & the receptionist as well were simply amazing, it was a long hard extraction but it was done with extremely cheerful & competent staff. The follow up phone call from Jeremy on Monday to check on me was greatly appreciated. I had to go in today, Tuesday as I had inadvertently rinsed our the packing & Dr Bethany, her nurse & the receptionist were ver very good to me.

Fantastic experience: Broke one of my back teeth on a mentos at 445pm on a Thursday afternoon, I had never been to Banora Coastal Dental Care, but found them online, and sure enough they could fit me in the next day. Try as she might, she has been unable to get even a slight squeal from me. Best dentist I've yet come across. The prices are OK too!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience in my dentist appointment yesterday in a lovely practice with such an inviting and peaceful atmosphere. From the start, with a lovely receptionist who received me with a big smile and asked me to fill in my details in an iPad (so convenient!). Dr Bethany was fabulous, both her assistant, Brita, and Dr Bethany, asked me how i was feeling (first thing they did!), as I had ticked off in my forn that I was scared of dentists. They both immediately put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable (they made me feel they really cared about me). After a thorough examination, and quick and easy X-rays, Dr Bethany asked me to take a sit next to her and patiently showed me the images, and explained patiently the diagnosis, responding to all my questions and sharing all my options. After a clean and polish, I left the practice with such a great feeling of accomplishment, going to the dentist has never been such a pleasant experience before!

Fantastic experience: I got lucky finding Coastal Dental Care. Bad tooth ache on holiday 7 hours from home. But I was fit in for an appointment very quickly. And the service was amazing. Everything explained and done with care... I'd even consider timing my holiday every year just so I can come back for a check up!

Negative experience: Poor customer service. Without contacting me they changed my appointment time (which was booked six months earlier); ten days prior to the appointment. I was not made aware of the change until the day before my appointment. Leaving me with no time to make changes to my work schedule.
