From the very first moment, I was warmly welcomed by Ysabella, who was the first to receive me. She arranged my x-ray and kindly explained the treatment plan step by step. She was not just a nurse, but truly a guide, a carer, and someone I deeply appreciate. Later, I met Dr. Gamer Verdian, a highly skilled, thoughtful, and compassionate dentist. Although I was prepared to spend a large amount of money for a quick cosmetic fix, he carefully assessed my teeth and told me with honesty: “Omar, I am giving you this advice as a brother — your teeth are healthy, they should not be damaged for quick cosmetic results. What you need is braces for a period of time, in a natural and safe way.” These heartfelt words touched me deeply. At that moment, I realized I was not just with a dentist, but with a true brother in humanity. Negative experience: After spending $125,000.00 yes that's 125k to fix 21 teeth over 3 years. with the treatment resulting in 8 root canals 10 crowns this barely lasted 5 years before the.front 4 crowns have come off. so they want me to pay another $20000 just for 4 teeth. Initially I came there to see Dr.Mark Braun and when I bumped into him in restaurant he was shocked to see the.condition of my teeth. I told him I couldn't. afford to pay for another set of crowns. after spending so much money I can't believe they are making me feel like I'm a cheat the have told me unless I pay an extra $500 in advance they will not treat me. I'd rather find another dentist these dentist just want to charge top dollar but they.dont care about you as a person. I spent $125,000 and 7 years later I've got the ugliest smile. they never explained that the crowns would.come off so easily and that it would cost me $5000/crowns no way I would never have done this. I would have just gotten implants. I can't imagine how they.could be so cruel and.leave a patient with such an embarrassing smile. worst decision I ever made I should have gone to Asia and fixed my teeth there.

Even though I don’t live near the practice, I happily drive the 30km across town to see Dr hoy. He and his staff are simply the best. Professional, friendly, considered, expert at what they do. I could not ask for better and will continue to consult him in future.

Fantastic experience: The team at The Dental Lounge has been amazing. I have visited both the city and double bay clinic and both are equally as beautiful. I went in to see if I could get veneers for my misaligned smile, and after being welcomed and made to feel very comfortable at the initial consult there was no doubt I would be coming back and going ahead with Dr Gamer. They have been really accommodating at fitting me in last minute, super enthusiastic and helpful with talking me through my options and I have been involved in choosing the design and style to suit my face. I was nervous about the costs but there are many payment options available to make it feasible for most budgets. I cannot wait to receive my new smile!! I feel very confident I’m in great hands. The service I have received thus far has been exceptional.

While the delay and lack of communication were disappointing, the subsequent improvements have shown that Dental Lounge values their patients' feedback and strives to provide better service. Moving forward, I hope that Dental Lounge maintains this level of service and communication. *Original review (5/6/23)* I came to Dental lounge for invisalign and other dental treatments over a year ago. I was initially impressed by the team and the service, especially Dr Gamer's and Kirrana's friendliness yet professionalism. After 12 months, I was told I required refinement for my invisalign. The scan was done almost 3 months ago, however I'm still left waiting for progress. Despite reaching out multiple times to inquire about the status of my refinement, I have been met with vague responses and a lack of clear updates. This extended wait time has not only been inconvenient but has also left me frustrated and questioning the level of professionalism and commitment to patient care at this dental office. As someone who had faith in the practice, I can't help but feel disappointed by the decline in service quality.

Negative experience: I have mixed experiences, received comprehensive information before implant surgery. On the day of survey, although I was told that I would be escorted out when my pick up arrives, no one did, I was walking out on my own with bleeding mouth, there was no enough dressing provided, I was bleeding all way in the car, there was also no follow up calls after to check up. Also, the following up appoint, although I confirmed three times with appointment time, it was one hour delay, which delayed my next appointment, not acceptable for a reputable practice.

Fantastic experience: Having done all top teeth is a huge job and it can be scary if you don’t have a complete confidence in your dentist. From my initial consultation with Dr Braund the whole process, which included replacing crowns, removing an implant, bone and gum grafting, fitting beautiful temporary crowns while waiting for the permanent, was a smooth sailing. Dr Braund is a brilliant dentist and every time i was in that dentist chair ( some appointments for couple of hours or longer) I was comfortable and totally confident that he will do an amazing job which was always the case. Every appointment he went out of his way ensuring every single detail is perfect and when you are doing cosmetic work as well that is very important. I am also grateful to Gabrielle , my treatment coordinator, and the whole amazing team at Dental Lounge who made me very welcome from my first visit and followed up after every single appointment to see how I am feeling after the treatment. I hope I am done with dental work, at least for a while, but when I need anything else done to my teeth I certainly know that the Dental Lounge is the place to be and Dr Braund is the dentist to do it. Can not stop smiling. Thank you Dr Braund and the whole team.

Negative experience: Following on from whomever it concerns, I too can validate everything that was said in their review. Not to mention other things I witnessed while there, that I would never expect to see in a work place. There are so many amazing dentists in Sydney that you don’t need to waste your time in a place like this. I am surprised they have managed to keep the staff that they have especially with the large turnover of staff they have had within the last year. Avoid at all costs, you will be doing yourself a favour.

Fantastic experience: Required urgent care for wisdom tooth pain, and phoned Dental Lounge to see if they could assist. Julie the receptionist squeezed me in for a following day appointment with Dr Zac Wilson. The staff were very friendly and the procedure itself was probably the easiest, quickest and most painless extraction I’ve ever had. The office is really clean and doesn’t feel like a typical sterile dentist surgery and the fee was incredibly reasonable. Will certainly consider visiting more regularly for all my dentistry requirements!

Fantastic experience: Excellent communication from the time I booked my appointment to the time I walked in. I had my first consult today which consisted of getting some x-rays and a general clean by the dental hygienist followed by a consult with my dentist. The staff were friendly and made me feel safe and comfortable. Cleanliness standards were great. Equipment was state of the art. The treatment itself was pain free and I was checked in on regularly by the staff to make sure I wasn't having any sensitivity issues. Pricing was very good and fair! No surprise fees, or ridiculous unwanted charges. The whole thing was done very efficiently and they work together well making sure that I was always in contact with someone and not left out of any part of the process. After my treatment, I felt like I was actually going to be looked after in the future as they spoke to me about a possible dental plan with options, and there was no cold, distant transaction that is typical with most practices. I was very impressed with the team at Dental Lounge and I highly recommend their services/practice to anyone who needs a good dentist.

Negative experience: I was given a 15:40 today which required that I provide date of birth, phone No & email address; today I phoned the surgery to confirm the appointment & the woman who answered the call left me for 5’ on the phone after saying there was no recollection in her system of such appointment however she knew my first name After phoning many times & the switchboard/receptionist refusing to answer the phone another woman who said was the office Mng finally picked up the phone; she then changed the fee that I was initially quoted for the consultation from $50 to $60 & argued that this was the amount initially given to me when making the appointment. I found the way they managed a simple appointment to make up my mind as to whether or not to progress with a crown extremely unprofessional; have now decided that I do not want anything to do with this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: This is a review on behalf of my mum Trisha Clarke - I went to you lovely people with very,very low confidence,I have completed my treatment with excellent service and lots of smiles .I was very impressed with the work they have done to my teeth. On completion I have come out with confidence that makes me feel like I could fly! My appearance is 110%! Very happy

Negative experience: Went there for a regular checkup + clean! They didn't do a good job with the clean though. Don't think they removed the plaque completely as I could still feel it even after they were done. They had to deep clean some of the pockets using local anesthetic but took only about 25 minutes all together! I've been to other dentists and it usually takes between 45-60 minutes to do something like this. They clearly didn't do a thorough job and left a lot to be desired! Only positive is that the staff are quite friendly! Definitely not going back and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
